Opal is an old lady now but she still love to play. Mouse had a full bottle brush tail to and it’s just so cute.

For those worried about safety
Opal is 12.5 years old, she has had ferrets in her life since she was 6 months old. She has never broken skin or even made them squeal. She also only plays with ferrets and never dogs. Our guess is it’s because she was raised playing with ferrets and bigger/taller dogs could run her over and it scared her. When you’re a 13 lbs dachshund that is most dogs.

This is just like 10 (plus 2 duplicates) photos of me or pieces of me cut up and blended together in procreate. I’ve only done like 2 collages in procreate so it’s definitely a new medium for me but I’m pretty proud of it.

How sad she is to lose her stink

I wanted to take a picture of her tongue sticking out.

She’s not dead yet but she will go almost 48 hours without moving and if it weren’t for the fact I occasionally change her see positions and not in the death curl. But I sit in bed all day so I usually see her moving around but in the past month she’s been getting slower and slower. She’s over 2 so it’s not a surprise but I wanna know what set up would be best for pinning her. What materials should I use to create something to put her in? I have a pinning board and those kinds of pins but she’s too tiny for a shadow box so I’m not really sure how to display her.

We already miss you sweet angel. As the first mouse in my brother’s colony to go it’s a tough blow but I’m so glad I got the pleasure of knowing you in your short time on this earth.

She got her cages cleaned yesterday so I got to spend extra time cuddling her.

He was just sitting not moving with his eyes open. He was acting like he was sleeping but his eyes are open so idk.
