We Sat With DFH for a Week. Here's Our Review.

After sitting with it for a week, we finally published our review.

There was a lot we liked here, but we kept coming back to the same criticism: the album says the same things a few too many times. By the end, some of its strongest ideas had started to lose their impact.

We're curious where everyone else landed after living with it for a bit. Did it grow on you, or did you come away with a similar feeling?

We reviewed it. Curious if everyone here agrees.

Hey! We're Sonder Media, a student-run independent publication. We just published our review, but one thing we couldn't agree on afterward was whether Nolan's biggest strength here was the adaptation itself or the sheer scale of the filmmaking.

Interested to hear some deeper thoughts. This feels like one of those that's only going to get more interesting after multiple viewings.

Just finished Decades—here are our thoughts

Hey everyone!

We just reviewed Decades and thought it was a really solid record. It pulls from every era of the band without feeling like it's just looking back. We came away thinking it's one of their strongest releases in a while.

What did you all think? Favorite track so far?

Our review of You're Gonna Need A Little Music

Hey everyone! We're Sonder Media, an independent music publication run by music fans and student journalists covering new releases, concerts, and artist interviews.

We recently reviewed Yard Act's You're Gonna Need A Little Music and came away feeling pretty divided. While we loved the band's willingness to expand beyond their post-punk roots, we also felt the album occasionally loses momentum trying to juggle too many ideas.

What song do you think represented your country at the 2026 World Cup?

I put together a list of the songs that each country's fans seemed to sing the most during the World Cup.

I'm sure there are a few people will disagree with, so I'm curious:

What country are you from, and what song do you think best represented your fans during the tournament?

Thoughts on Oh Yeah?

Hey! We're Sonder Media, a student-run music magazine, and we just put out our review of Oh Yeah?

What did you all think of the album?

The production is sick, but it felt a little repetitive at times. That said, there are definitely a few tracks that stand out from the rest and make the album worth coming back to.
