Princess Pyewacket is Exhausted
Apparently she didn't get enough sleep last night because she's been like this all morning.

I really thought I'd like Requiem for a Swan better when I bought it, but I'm just not excited by it. I tried it today with Moondust to spice it up, but it still fails to impress. Anyone had any luck with this? Am I alone in just not liking it very much?
Basically, I'm playing with lighting mods and looking for alternatives to the Lux mods. I don't like my interiors too dark and I like my Skyrim bright and colorful.
Also guarding the catnip.
This is Screamy McScreamy-pie, AKA Persephone. She is my roommate's cats and she likes to come into my room, scream at me, and run away the second I twitch in her direction. Sometimes she just wanders into an empty room and screams. I do catch her sometimes and cuddle her until she starts trying to escape (usually 5 seconds), she purrs the whole time. She is also an honorary member of the itty bitty kitty committee.
In all honesty, she doesn't actually scream. She just meows loudly at a high pitch. Compared to the other cats in the house, she's extremely vocal.
Hey, I live in Northern California and I've been thinking of planting a camellia sinensis in my patio. However, I'm not sure if it's actually feasible.
My USDA Hardiness Zone is 9a, my patio has 8ft fencing and plants are required to be trimmed if they get more than a couple feet above the top of the fence (the HOA only loosely enforces this). The patio is on the south side of the condo and it gets quote hot in the summer.
Would a camellia sinensis do ok in these conditions? Is there a particular variety I should look into getting? Anything I should do in advance?
This is my collection, minus 2 bottles that didn't fit. Then I remembered I placed an order for more polish the other day... I may have a problem, but it's ok because I also ordered more shelves.
Princess Pyewacket is exhausted after a long morning.
9am - woke up for morning snuggles
9:30am - moved to cat tree for a nap
Noonish - yawned and went back to sleep
This is Princess Pyewacket. The original photo wasn't great, but I kinda like how it turned out with all the colors.
As my glue-on nails fall off, I'm replacing them and picking a new polish color. This way I can justify having such a huge nail polish collection.
Right Hand:
Thumb - After the Rain (I like this one)
Index - Poseidon’s Prize (I'm struggling to magnetize this)
Middle - Moonjelly (Not sure about the look of this)
Ring - Root of All Evil (so cool!)
Pinkie - This is a Storm Warning (the magnetization got messed up somehow)
Left Hand:
Thumb - The Living Doll (kicking myself for being impatient and dinging the polish, really needs to be perfectly smooth)
Index - Siren's Deceit (Nice, but not exciting)
Middle - Antivenom (ok, but not quite doing it for me)
Ring - The Stolen Kiss (ought to have used it as a topper)
Pinkie- Heart of Stone (so sparkly, loving it)
This was Princess Pyewacket's attempt to convince me I shouldn't pick her up and cuddle her to death. It was not very effective.
I was messing around with swatch sticks and decided to try out The Stolen Kiss as a topper. Featured are White Rabbit and Emo For Life with a single coat of The Stolen Kiss.
I cannot remember which polish this is, I have a really large collection of mooncat. Anyone care to guess which one this is?
EDIT: Solved, it's unmagnetized This Is A Storm Warning.
I was minding my own business and then my precious baby existed cutely in my vicinity.
I'm probably autistic, but I was never diagnosed. I asked really well in the past, but as I get older it just feels increasingly difficult. I live on my own but mostly because my home is actually owned by a special needs trust administered by my aunt. The trust/my aunt handles the property taxes and some of the utilities. My aunt is also being grandma's caregiver, which I totally understand is hard and awful at times. I deeply appreciate my aunt. She's having surgery done soon and has decided that I need to stay with her and grandma to help out and spend quality time with grandma while she's still around. I love my grandma, but she's hard for me to get along with even short term. She's not terribly sympathetic or empathetic, her only hobby is watching endless reruns of old TV shows, she's never satisfied with anyone's efforts, and often talks about how she hates cats... it's a miracle my aunt puts up with her, but grandma refuses to be put in a home and adamantly doesn't want professional caregivers. Last time I visited, it was a miserable experience for me and I didn't have to help much. I'm going to be so bad at this. I'm squeamish about helping her in the bathroom, I'm sure I'm going to screw up helping from her chair to her bed, and I know she won't like anything I might cook. I have no idea how I'm going to walk away from this visit without falling apart and/or saying something that will deeply upset her and my aunt. Every time I try to plan for this trip, I feel like crying.
TL;DR i have to spend a week to a month being a caregiver for a relative i don't enjoy spending time with and I just know it's going to be a disaster.
I (38F) live in a condo (3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom located in Santa Rosa, California)that is owned by a Special Needs Trust administered for me by my Aunt. For the last year ive had a roommate (30F) who signed an agreement with my Dad's estate to pay super cheap rent to the special needs trust in exchange for taking on certain cleaning duties and household chores.
However, she has not kept up with her end of things at all. I've reluctantly come to a decision with my Aunt that we don't want her to stay or, if she does stay she needs to be paying a lot more to cover her lack of contribution to the household.
We (my aunt and I) are discussing getting an attorney to write up a new rental agreement between the roommate and the special needs trust as Dad's estate is is now no longer operating.
Does anyone have advice? Or suggestions?
I feel like as I got older it became less ok to ask questions in public. Like when I was little, I could walk up to a relative stranger and ask "What are you doing?" "Why are you doing it that way?" "What if XYZ?". Now it's like talking to people might be disturbing them or your questions might be taken the wrong way and you really shouldn't waste time unless they're a close friend or it's on the appropriate subreddit.
When I saw Princess Pyewacket's photo on the adoption site, I assumed I'd be getting a chatty cat. I was prepared for noise. I've had her since November and she's actually a super quiet kitty. She quietly meezes under a few select cirmstances.
She is picked up unexpectedly.
She is having the life snuggled out of her.
A specific friend of mine comes over and needs to hear her opinions.
I meant to get stuff done, but this happened instead.
