Library Haul
Evan’s room.
It’s rather spacious.
Evan is on his bed.
Surrounding him are a bunch of textbooks.
Evan picks one up.
It’s implied he got them from the library.
He reads one of them, getting progressively more fascinated.

Evan’s at a skatepark.
He’s about to perform a skating trick.
Evan goes off a ramp.
He tries to land.
The worst happens.
Evan’s skateboard goes off-course, sending him with it.
He falls back-first
Luckily, Evan manages to pop a few bone spikes to break his fall.
Unfortunately, his precious skateboard does not survive.
Outside.
Gabby’s walking.
That’s when she gets cornered.
By who?
By a few anti-mutant people.
More surround her.
She gets uneasy.
“Uh…hi? Can you please move?”
That seems to tick them off.
Before Gabby can react, one person’s fist shoots out.
She narrowly avoids (even if she did bruise, it’d probably heal).
They all attack.
Gabby tries to fight back.
Tries.
Even attempting to use her claws.
Unfortunately, she’s quickly overpowered.
Luckily, Gabby manages to limp away from the anti-mutants.
Once in an alleyway, she collapses.
“Oof.”
Basketball.
One of Evan’s hobbies that don’t involve skating or anything else.
Just him, a ball, and a hoop.
It’s a sanctuary of some sort to him.
Evan smirks as if someone else has challenged him.
Evan starts to play.
By himself.
If anything, hanging out with the other Morlocks can be a bit boring.
Plus, the issue of him coming back smelling like sewer.
The Danger Room.
Evan is inside.
Deciding to get all his anxiety about the schism out the best way he can, he runs a random simulation.
Sentinels left and right.
Evan attacks, hurling bone spikes.
Evan narrowly dodges their own attacks.
He skids to a halt, getting the Sentinels to attack each other.
Once they’re wrecked, Evan seems to have had a lot of energy taken out of him.
Bar Sinister.
Gabby sits next to Laura and Kate.
Because “keep your hands to yourself” is not in this badger’s vocabulary, she digs right into the nearest bag. It’s probably Kate’s. No, definitely Kate’s.
She pulls out a handheld console.
Gabby’s eyes light up as she looks for something interesting on the console.
She hits Tetris.
Without a moment’s hesitation, Gabby begins to play.
She seems to really, really like it.
Metropolis Central Park.
Krypto is with Clark and Lois.
His super-hearing picks up growling.
He turns to the source.
Three other dogs, a Doberman, a Siberian Husky, and a Rottweiler, ears pinned back, are cornering two whimpering two other dogs, clearly no older than puppies. One is a Blue Heeler, the other is a Red Heeler.
Krypto, without any warning, storms up to the three dogs, an aggressive growl escaping his throat.
The three growl at him at first, but then Krypto’s eyes slowly go red with heat vision. His growl gets more ferocious, basically telling these bullies: back off, or else.
That seems to do the trick, sending them running, as Krypto’s eyes go back to brown.
He turns to the two pups, giving them a nod, watch as they skitter away.
Evan’s on his skateboard.
He’s going through the city, his eyes occasionally flitting to his current location (skatepark, presumably) to his phone.
The Morlocks have texted that they’re waiting on him.
Evan stops at the Morlocks’ tunnels, dismounting his skateboard.
Once inside, he looks around, skateboard under his arm.
“Callisto? Leech? Anyone?”
Deciding to wait, Evan leans against the wall.
For anyone confused, he’s one of Delilah and Doug’s 99 puppies who live in 101 Dalmatian Street. Due to a congenital amputation, he has no hind legs, so he uses a wheelchair to get around.
He’s really cute, and I actually love his design.
Not to mention, I think the wheelchair is pretty cool, and his squinty eyes also double in cuteness.
I also love his road line collar and the sock-like markings on his forelegs, and the cut on his ear.
My favorite speedy boi.
Evan is outside the Morlocks’ tunnels.
He checks to see if anyone is inside.
He sees no one.
Bored, he sits down somewhere.
A while later, he decides to simply chill there until the Morlocks resurface.
Wherever they are.
So I (16M) am the oldest in my family. I had a mother and a sister who was the middle child in my family. I have a father (40M) and a younger sibling (7M). Well, had. He cried a lot.
And when I mean a lot, I mean a lot.
So me and my friends came up with a way to “give him a closer look” at the animatronics when his birthday hits.
On the fifth day, I locked him in his room. He cried. No surprise there.
On the fourth day, I scared him by hiding behind the TV. Again, he cried.
Third day, I left without him at Fredbear’s. To no one’s surprise, he cried.
Second day, I popped out from under his bed. He cried. Again.
The day before the party, I locked him in the spare parts room. He begged. And cried.
On the party, that’s when me and my friends (17M, 16M, 15M) executed our “surprise”.
We took him to Fredbear and I shoved his head in Fredbear’s mouth.
It was funny…until Fredbear bit down. We were shocked.
In the hospital, I said sorry. He died not long after.
AITA?
Evan is on a streaming platform.
Tons upon tons of movies and TV shows he could watch.
And tons upon tons of them he’s already watched.
Evan gets progressively more bored.
“Great. Nothing good. And most of the good stuff is stuff I’ve already seen. Man, this bites.”
Evan decides to stop stressing so much and simply pick something he likes.
Something he won’t find extremely boring.
Evan decides to watch one of his favorite sports movies.
He smiles a little.
Gabby sits on a stool in Bar Sinister.
Each time Sinister does show up, she gets this feeling of mistrust that she wants to take out on Essex.
Except - probably wisely - she doesn’t.
So instead of attacking Sinister for no apparent reason, she instead walks to a nearby seat and sits.
She pops her claw, using it to start randomly rake it across the table - not enough to damage it.
But she doesn’t shove the mistrustful feeling away.
It silently grows.
Evan’s in his room.
Unfortunately, he forgot to acknowledge the fact that the Morlocks were going to meet up.
He’s asleep.
Evan wakes up after a while.
He checks his phone, and immediately panics.
Already getting out of bed, Evan grabs his skateboard, and rushes out of his room.
He texts the Morlocks that he’ll be there.
Krypto was on strict orders to not follow Clark on the way to the Hall.
Unfortunately, Krypto does not give a flying fig about staying on the farm.
Wherever his master goes, he goes too.
So now Krypto is in the Hall of Justice, trying his absolute best to not alert the Man of Steel.
Krypto is currently poking around the Hall, pawing at whatever is in his vicinity, sniffing around.
Krypto is probably going to get an earful, but that’s probably the least of his doggo worries.
The basketball court.
Evan is holding a basketball.
He seems to be the only person here.
Evan braces himself with a smile.
Then, he leaps into action.
Evan uses his mutant powers, using his bone spikes as an advantage.
He’s imagining his opponent playing against him.
Evan shoots basket after basket.
When he’s done, he stretches out.
Gabby is in Bar Sinister.
Getting fairly tired from randomly looking through people’s stuff (Laura probably gave her a serious earful about not doing things like that), she sits down somewhere.
She looks down to see her plushies are not there.
She panics.
“Crapcrapcracp…” she mutters.
“Where the heck did my plushies go?! Urgh, great job, Gabby Kinney…” Gabby immediately buries her head in her hands.
The Kents’ farm.
Krypto is bored.
Out of his mind.
Deciding to stave off his boredom, Krypto heads outside.
His eyes fall on a stick.
Which he begins chewing with enough force to snap it.
Krypto decides to try to engage someone in a game of fetch.
