My boy most goes in for surgery on Tuesday. The costs have been brutal.
Praying the imaging comes back clear internally and it will be as simple as removing the masses & healing.

Our sweet 7 year-old dog, Leo, was diagnosed with mast cell tumor cancer last week. We've had him since he was only 10 weeks old, and he has been our best friend ever since. He is the gentlest, kindest dog I've ever known. He has never hurt a fly and is amazing with our daughter, our 2 other dogs and 5 cats…and every animal he's ever met lol. He loves everyone and everything!
One of my favorite memories of Leo is from my pregnancy. Every morning after my fiancé left for work, Leo would climb into bed, lay in his spot with his head on the pillow, and stay there with me until I got up. He never left my side throughout my entire pregnancy. Looking back now, I truly can't imagine going through pregnancy or being postpartum without him by my side. He has been my constant source of comfort through every stage of becoming a mom. :,)
Leo now has two tumors that need to be surgically removed, along with blood work, X-rays, radiographs, and additional testing to determine if the cancer has spread. His vet referred us to a good surgeon 2hrs away from us & we’ll be headed that way Tuesday morning! Right now he’s in for a consultation and possibly same day surgery as long as his internal images come out good and whatever else. Fingers crossed we can get it done that day because I’m ready for all of this to be over if I’m being honest..

Waiting to hear back more info from the doctor. All they said was his tumor did come back as cancerous. He also has another hard bump on his back thigh, much much smaller like a penny. But the one they tested is like a golf ball maybe a bit bigger.
Anyone have any success stories? My boy is 7 years old and the SWEETEST dog I have out of all 3. He is SO gentle. He is SO good with all of our animals. He’s never hurt a fly.

Update- received the report. My MIL is taking the report to her vet because it’s absolutely insane they dropped this news, and then said the doctor he sees isn’t in until Thursday and can’t discuss more with me until she’s in. It is indeed a MCT. From the report it says it appears to be low grade.

Anyone else feel like their sex life has become a chore? I dread it everytime. My husband and I have been together for 8 years and lately I’m just like…. NEVER in the mood. Between taking care of our 9 month old everyday (sahm), and all of our animals and just life itself, I feel like the last thing I ever want to do is have sex and I hate it. I also did up my Zoloft, but I’ve felt this way for a while now. Not to mention, we cosleep so like take that however you will lol we basically don’t cuddle ever either . The only reason we have sex is so he’s satisfied, and I just feel like yeah it ‘gets the job done’ but like it’s just not HOT sex. Idk. And I have no desire to ‘spice it up’… ugh

These babies are getting harder and harder to get to sleep for naps 😅 my girl will be so tired but want to just flail her body around and be so chaotic as I’m trying to get her to take her nap. I feel like I’m constantly having to re position her body, lay her back down, and literally HOLD her in place as I’m aggressively patting her entire body 😅 she is soooooo specific too now with how she has to fall asleep. Good lord. Nap times have become a whole section of the day themselves lol

I have been considering buying one of the private residences located just outside of Disney but still apart of Disney property, Golden Oaks.
We stay by primarily at our home in Naples but my wife and 3 daughters are trying to convince me to purchase one of the properties there since we usually fly up monthly anyways.
Anyone own property there or in the area? I’m going up there tomorrow to view a couple and potentially look at options to have something built.

Coming from Orlando in October and looking for something no more than 30 minutes to the beach. Small family; a 1 yr old during that time & younger couple.
We are pretty easy people, don’t really go out much but it’s nice to be within reasonable distance to nice going out spots. Mainly focused on having the beach be close, and a family friendly area, with a good school district for when our daughter starts school.
Just looking for general areas to start looking into! I don’t think we could afford living IN Sarasota so I’m looking for suggestions around the area that has really what we’re looking for. No apartments! Ideally house rentals. No more than 2,100/mo (ideally)

So my husband started a new job that’s not what he’s been doing for the last 10 years. While I am extraordinarily excited for him and actually pushed him to do this, I can’t help but feel….sad.
I stay at home and take care of our baby and I feel so blessed to be able to stay home of course. But it’s hard. It’s so hard doing it by yourself all day. Especially when you share a car, and some mornings I don’t always feel like waking the baby up to take him to work. Because I need the extra sleep too.
He’s out here just happy, full of energy, calling me and texting when he can all excited about his new job, and I just feel sad. I feel like my life and career completely stopped and it fucks with my head a little. Don’t get me wrong I haaaaated working and would always count down until the day was over, but I guess I just miss having a life, and interacting with people (or wanting to atleast, I’ve become a hermit)
And then of course…. Comes the fear of the women at this job, not knowing them, and just feeling insecure I guess. We have been together for 8 years and never once has he cheated on me. He is a very friendly man though with a great heart and he is handsome. I am confident that he would never put our family in jeopardy and he has also told me I’m stupid if I think he would ever do anything to lose what he has at home. But I think it’s easy to get in my head about it when I don’t really leave the house, and don’t have my own stuff going on.
I love being a mom but sometimes it’s just so hard mentally. And I feel like it’s so hard putting your life on pause and giving up on yourself in a way so you can raise your child.
I feel like I’m struggling with what to feed my baby for meals 3 times a day, as someone who only eats 2 meals at most themselves.
I feel like a pos when I have her eat chef boyardee or those Ferber premade meals. She gets those for lunch and if we don’t cook dinner. Usually in the morning I’ll give her either a waffle, French toast sticks, or one of the baby bars with like fruit inside of them. And some yogurt melts, or puffs.
I also give her snacks throughout the day like teether bars, puffs, the fruit filled bars, etc
And she has around 25-30oz of formula a day
Still learning so please be nice 🥲
