On one hand, this era didn't do much with him other than having act erractic and a few aura moments, so would be sad to see but what can you do. Would sure suck to die in an era such as this, and i was getting hyped for a Cyclops ongoing.

On the other, it'd be funny for a whole second is Jean came back to Earth just as Scott fucking. Anything to not have them interact. (Nvm she already came back for the Annual while he was lost in the jungle and no-sold him).

Like, this change alone adds so much depth to even book Aemond. It doesn't track at all why an evil kinslayer who's just evil would keep loyal to his maimed brother for as long as he did- then you see this and it all clicks into place. He wasn't so evil, just clueless like everyone else, and went down as a villain for a mistake he made.

He could've been so cool, then we got what we got.

Like, knowing how it went historically, this just feels wrong. The Seljuk warred like two times for Syria and a Duchy, then imploded, and a crusade got called for giggles. Just a bummer that Alp Arslan is basically never a problem, Alexios (or the ERE in general) can in no way interact with the Crusade or even call for one, and even the laziest most content Pope can just kinda declare it.

Maybe it's asking too much, and tbh i'd like some events for my boy Romanos IV as well, but to start i think at least Alexios and Alp Arslan should get something. Imo if William conquers England 90% of the time, then Rum should also be formed 90% of the time.

Like, at this point just go the whole way. Even if Jean is likely gonna be the POV character, no reason to exclude a younger Kitty.

She's one of the few character in comics who organically grew up, so let her do that. Give things a bit of levity at the start by being the lil' sidekick she was, then grows into her 2000s+ self.
