Anyone have experience with Pagid racing brake pads

The model In looking at on all 4 corners is like Pagid RSL Yellow. For a full set I'm looking at $900-$1000 for just brake pads. They are aggressive and recommended for endurance racing. So I think I prime upgrade for street track car. They aren't gonna be those 1 lap and to hot type of pads. But geez the price I have to see reviews and experiencs before a purchase. I guess it's just like Alcon calipers. You gotta pay for the best

How does a performance hydraulic clutch feel compared to cable clutches in modern setups

So I spent 15 years daily on cable clutch cars. Stock and performance oriented. Back than late 90s to early 2000s. Then, the hydraulic clutches felt horrible to me in comparison. I couldn't really feel 100% when the clutch was doing anything. With a clutch cable I could feel in and out not just from muscle memory on a hydraulic.

Clean restore on very buggy phone with a lot of media I'll need to upload again

I'm on Android 16 Pixel Pro and planning on a from scratch clean restore. So I've always done the new phone setup from copying/transfer from old phone.

I'm a big power user, Im not a Rooter but I'm a Shizuku user. I'm media side loader. I have a lot of space used from movies, music and ebooks. I've used a 110 GBs on my phone

I'm restoring because the phone has gotten really buggy. Active apps I use lose permissions randomly. Certain apps like camera force close when doing anything other than opening app. I lost all functionality to my Galaxy Watch. Etc

So I have uploaded all my media to Google Drive. Could one of those files potentially be corrupted. I need to upload my documents which isn't much.

So I'm guessing I restore the phone like a factory reset. Correct? Than the phone will download current OS.

I'm used to the old days with files that did a full 100% copy of your phone to that certain date.

Lastly, can I recover and download your old media after a clean restore.

99 MGM in shop for Helacoil, mechanic says I need a fuel pump and a starter

1999 Mercury Grand Marquis Non PI 4.6L 2 valve modular motor (Crown Victoria). Issue, story and history below. I tried making it as short as possible. Hoping for some help

When the spark plug blew out of the head, this was the 2nd time. 1st time I still had some threads in the head and I could still screw in the spark plug. Sadly I didn't use lock tight or anything to help secure it better. It also snapped a plastic mount on the coil pack where the screw installs to screw the coil pack down on the intake manifold.

The car was still running and driving. It also started somewhat fast without issues on 7 cylinders. Unfortunately the car was parked as is for 8 months. So it went through fall winter spring. Obviously the battery with drain dropped to probably 0 voltage. I had a small blinking red security light on the dash.

Before towing to the shop. I charged battery and tried starting car with 1 spark plug missing as well as coil pack and a No go. The car tried to start but it acted like it had barely enough juice for that attempt. It actually ran for 2-3 seconds one time and quit. That was the last I touched the car.

A few weeks have passed just waiting for a paycheck and called the mechanic today. He said I was going to need a new fuel pump and a new starter. He didn't install Helacoil or threaded insert for spark plug yet. I questioned this nicely. Because prior to the spark plug blowout (I saved the plug, the tip didn't break off or anything else either) The car ran great with 140K miles. My grandfather bought the car as a new used car for business trips and family trips.

So I'm trying to think of possibilities......

The mechanic doesn't know the cars history.

  1. The car was parked outside on my distant family's property hood closed.But..... The spark plug well was open and exposed during the seasons especially all of the winter months. Put it in all different holes like thermostat that whole and radiator with wrap it where the holes you know ain't nothing come out where the hose and the full pressure going at it cuz everything was pouring out and eventually I got it all

The open spark plug well/tube. Could this be the culprit which led to other possibilities preventing a startup. This car ran perfectly prior the spark plug blow out. Highway miles was like a new auto car. I just can't see a unused perfectly working Fuel Pump as well as starter to go 100% bad.

Any input at all is appreciated but it was one of those processes man. It probably just and I've heard a lot of it as a certain kind of coolant

Stuck in-between Max 9 and Security 9 compact

I just can't decide. Nether one has a deal breaker for me. Both within $50 of each other. Barrel 3.2 vs 3.4 both have extended magazines available. I do like the concept of the internal hammer. I've never owned a hidden hammer handgun before. I like that both have manual safeties.

What would you choose? This would be a by my nightstand, concealed carry, inside car weapon.

Looking for internet series that tests street car builds other people built

There was a cool show 5 years ago with Superspeeders Rob and Emelia Hartford called Sorted. Just 1 season. But they would test other peoples street car builds in all aspects.

Street ability test, Acceleration test, Launch and Time attack followed by road course laps.

Is there anything like that you guys know about. Or even recommend some people who actually test out these car builds. I'm just looking for something other than seeing an in car video of someone just slamming the throttle on the highway doing a 60-130. Than talking for 10-15 minutes.

I want to see the technical stuff on the build and testing, etc.

Thanks in advance

F2P new player on 2nd week. Need advice to gain cars and currency.

So I'm not really sure what routes to go as a new player into my 2nd week.

I have 100K in the cheap currency. The stuff you can't paint gloss with. Can't remember names aside from Diamonds. I only have 300 diamonds. I have 0 in the other two currency.

First, Do I grind out the story mode or go after missions first. I do the daily missions. I still have things I haven't unlocked yet.

Last question. The current setup starting the game I feel it might be a racing game easily burns you out quick. Race format is like a 1 lap time attack. Maybe this is how it is in the beginning. Everything is very short.

So tips is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Looking for Adidas Adifom Q alternatives, foams with built in insert

So basically I'm looking for foams with built liner/inserts. I like the Adifom concept but not the way it looks. I guess it would just be called foam sneakers. Something I could walk or run in.

Need a good File Explorer/Manager that has a modern UI

Im currently using DV File Explorer that I do like but I can't help but wonder if there's one that's just better. A lot of them basically look the same and not really different from each other. I'm not rooted but I do have Shizuku if it's relevant. Im not really sure if File Managers can be different from others. I've just rocked DV for so long I never bothered trying something else.

Features I'm looking for... Modern UI if possible, one that doesn't look like it was built on Android Kit-kat Some king of customization/organization. I want to be able to get into certain folders fast. Download, Movie and pictures especially.

Im not needing extra stuff but it's a bonus I guess.

Any books on cold war submarines written from the Russian side

I've read quite a few books on submarines from Cold War to WW1. But none were from the Russian perspective. I would assume post 1990 some of the retired guys would want to cash in on a cold war submarine novel.

Can I force a reconnect to wifi after weak signal disconnect

Where I live is a guest house using the main house wifi for the time being. The signal gets so weak it disconnects alot. Even with auto connect enabled in settings. It isn't a fast reconnect. If I do it manually the wifi connects immediately.

So I'm hoping I can use tasker with wifi connect to force a auto connect immediately after a disconnect. All on the same wifi network

Could you run a true quad full exhaust for a different higher pitched sound

So I was just exploring my brain on ways to make a car exhaust sound more unique and away from the normal Coyote or LT sound. I don't think car exhaust sounds as good as it used to.

So from front to back. Header to tips

  1. Long Tube headers 4-2 but not into 1. A dual collector 2 inches.
  2. Run two total exhaust pipes on each side from the collector to the exhaust tips.
  3. I figure 4 total 2 inch piping would come close to dual 3 inch exhaust.

Use Helmholtz (J Pipes) somewhere along the exhaust to lower potential rasp and and low RPM drone

And muffler of your choice not sure at all.

In theory this would work right and create a higher pitched natural exhaust sound that sounds different than the usual.

How many of you started playing CODM in year 1 late 2019-2020

Just curious how many of you are original year 1 players that are still active with the game. Come October the game will be 7 years old since public release. I personally steered away from serious play. I was the daily competitive guy who stayed in legendary MP and BR

Sunprot Manager built in tools vs built in module redundancy

So I'm new to the Magisk, Shizuku, Sunprot Manager world. I was afraid of to many modules conflicting so as far as tweaking I'm running just Sunprot Manager.

My question is the built in toggle tweaks are basically the same as the built module tweaks. At least in naming. What does one vs the other do?

How do you like Sunprot vs other options.

So I'm a smart shopper. I buy those deals and I lean away from big box store brands because of overpriced retail set prices. So I went to a company like Edifier. So now that my earbuds stopped (They won't charge anymore) what can I get in that $100 range. These weren't ANC but they offered 10-12 hours of playback on a single charge. I haven't kept up with the audio world in years now. So I need any help I can get.

Just noticed this a few hours ago in YouTube. English dub as an for all languages. Tested in Morphe Revanced YouTube as well

In each video screen select settings - audio track - auto dubbed English

Makes me curious this can't be all that hard to implement. Hoping other video stream sites will offer this option as well. To watch foreign videos in English is big.

So looking at various app categories from free to grossing. I scratch my head sometimes. One category a app has a 3.2 rating but it's 1 in that category while you have all these 4.5 to 4.9 apps that are down the list.

Im running a Pixel phone that's in need of some help because of a recent update. Researching apps that Doze, Hibernate and control other aspects when the screen is off. I've found Island, Shelter, Insular, Hail, Enforce Doze, and Battery Tool. That's 6 alone without doing more research. I'm sure there's more so it's a bit overwhelming on what to choose and why. I want something strong with features and options.

I'm a power user so it's important for a good dependable better than the others app to use. Im really new to Open Sourced stuff.
