First time here for Fleet week and seeing the Angels. Thrilled

Not sure if this fits the sub, but saw Jack play last night at the Greek and there was extended sequence of his films set to a medley that was pretty cool. Hope it's OK to share here.

Second time out shooting surf, Nikon Z8 with a 180-600mm. I've already had some feedback on a couple of other subs that these shots are generally too tight… Might've been overzealous with the long lens as it's a newer purchase. That spot a 100-400mm would have been plenty. Was generally at 1/2500, f9, auto ISO. It was a little late in the morning so the sun was kind of tough.

New to surf photography and not a Santa Cruz local. Drove down from Oakland to shoot on Monday. If anybody knows these folks, tell them to DM me, I'd love to share high-res files.

Anybody know if there's a good way to contact some of the regulars? I have some photos I'd like to share. Maybe one of the surf shops there? (I'm not a local). Have a fair number of shots.
