Jaylen Brown’s limited handle and subpar ball security bled significant value for Boston’s offense, JB led the entire league in TOs

Unlike a Luka Doncic or Prime James Harden, Brown’s own playmaking capabilities are very lackluster meaning he cannot make up (and significantly outpace) his league leading turnovers like they can. It also doesn’t help that he scores less on much worse efficiency than other players who usually lead the league in TOs

JB was 2nd in the league in usage and doesn’t have anywhere near the passing chops to justify it, leading to lackluster advanced statistics

Jaylen Brown took the 2nd most long midranges in the league last season. However, he converted at below league average efficiency

Of the players who took the most in the top 10, Brown is only above two rookies in efficiency Flagg and Bailey

If John is not at DreamCon, will that confirm he is officially not apart of RDC anymore?

Seems like that’s the last chance

They removed his socials from the RDCLive description, Ben dropped him out on the RDC Gorillaz fan art, the whole John removal posts, Dylan and the rest literally skipped all John related post mad awkwardly before fans finally grew too loud to ignore

Now everyone says he’s busy running DreamCon but given they were streaming at the same time and they ignored his birthday (while they shout everyone else out on their birthdays)

If there is no John at dreamcon, he is not part of RDC anymore. They don’t even mention him anymore lol he’s taboo for them

168 years ago today, Paul Morphy arrived in Europe hoping to play Howard Staunton. A match never materialized. Instead, Morphy spent the next year on what became his legendary European tour.

There’s differing sources on whether it was the 20th or 21st of June. Regardless, Morphy arrived in Europe 168 years ago today or yesterdays He also went for the Birmingham international tournament, but also went to challenge Staunton who already replied to Morphy

The misunderstanding came from this wording:

‘If Mr. Morphy—for whose skill we entertain the liveliest admiration—be desirous to win his spurs among the Chess chivalry of Europe, he must take advantage of his purposed visit, next year; he will then meet in this country, in France, and Germany, and in Russia, many champions whose names must be as household words to him, ready to test and do honour to his prowess.’

Staunton was trying to decline to play him and say he was too busy but wasn’t firm enough, and Morphy took this wording as acceptance or at the very least that he would be open to a match if Morphy came over

I now understand why Levy clickbaits, his historical video on Alekhine is his worst performing video of May

Sucks, because I think the video is really good and I’d love if Levy or other chess content creators did videos on older legends
