The predominant Judeo-Christian symbolism in Neon Genesis Evangelion: What were the creators trying to tell us, and what were they trying to make us understand through it?

I understand that the world of Evangelion draws on many historical religions, but it's clear that Judeo-Christian references and symbolism predominate over everything else. Why do you believe the creators made the creative decision to portray Judeo-Christianity as the predominant exoteric symbolism and representation throughout the Neon Genesis Evangelion universe?

I've also previously read that SEELE is heavily based on Jewish Kabbalah and Jewish sects. If that's true, why do you believe the creators became so fascinated with and chose to make references to Jewish liturgy and eschatology such a predominant part of the series?

If all of this (Kabbalah, Judaism, Judeo-Christian sects, the Sephiroth, the Christian cross, etc) has a coherent underlying explanation that only the most knowledgeable fans have fully understood, could you please explain it in a way that's accessible to the general public?

Monako Glass: AI glasses that can run Claude Code and Codex. The future of coding just got wearable.

Running Claude Code used to mean carrying a laptop everywhere. Now, a Chinese startup says a pair of smart glasses can do the job. Monako Glass is being pitched as the world’s first wearable Linux computer, built specifically for developers, researchers, and AI power users.

The glasses can run AI coding agents like Claude Code and Codex directly from a heads-up display, turning coding, research, and app creation into a hands-free experience. If this vision works, the next generation of software development might happen through a pair of glasses instead of a laptop screen.

Sam Atman says "we are now in the singularity"

Speaking on the Relentless podcast, the OpenAI CEO said "we are now like in the singularity," and called this the moment.

The singularity is the point where machine intelligence starts improving itself faster than people can improve it, so each generation of systems helps design the next and forecasting stops working.

The reason it does not feel like anything is in the same answer. Altman called progress one long exponential where no single moment is the tipping point.

There is no announcement to catch, no morning where the world looks different. Capability arrives, people adjust within weeks, and the new level becomes the floor.

He made the same point in his June 2025 post The Gentle Singularity, arguing it is far less strange than it should be. Robots are not walking the streets. Most days look like they did in 2022, while the systems underneath keep improving at an insane rate.
