"Notes from the Last Row" is totally different from what I expected

After my last experience, I decided not to read any reviews before watching a Kdrama. I talked about this in my last post about "Teach you a Lesson" how a Reddit user finally made me watch it after I'd previously decided not to, just because of one bad review. I also realized these Kdramas aren't a hit or flop kind of thing sometimes they hit you at a particular phase of your life that you can totally relate to. Maybe other people at the same time wouldn't like that drama, but for you it'll be the best, simply because it came at the right time, when you wanted to experience those feelings like therapy.

Last night I finished watching this drama called "Notes from the Last Row," and let me tell you one thing if you're somebody who feels like manipulation doesn't work on you, but at times it actually does, something you keep telling yourself "doesn't bother me," while in the back of your mind it's affecting you so much that you're unable to live in the present and end up relying more on your thoughts than your reality to make decisions, then you should definitely watch this.

One thing I noticed is it's a dialogue-heavy series, but it still keeps you at the edge of your seat the suspense never lets go, not for a single episode. And this boy, my God in so many scenes, without even saying a word, he acts with just his eyes and his face. I became his fan after watching Weak Hero, he's really a cool actor, and here he plays someone deliberately unreadable you genuinely can't tell if he's naive or calculating, and that ambiguity is what makes it so addictive.

The last episode can make you feel uncomfortable, angry, mad, and sad all at once. It's that kind of ending that sits with you long after the screen goes dark.

So Satisfying Experience after Watching This

Amazing, Humorous and so satisfying experience. I just finished watching "Teach You a lesson" and every episode was related to some problems in education system and the team ERPB solved this in so satisfying way, every episode made me angry at the beginning and when the start solving that problem truly satisfying experience, and that officer my God the coolest character I watched so far. Now I want to slap the reviewer who said it is an average show so you can skip it, a reddit user told me to watch it and I can't thank that person enough so happy to watch this drama, their famous dialogues

ERPB will take all the responsibility of it and will face all the consequences.

My favorite episode was where they have to deal with U Jin's Mother (toxic Parent)I think episode that was episode 5

If you are willing to be corrupt, then you can get success.

This is an observation, and based on that I formulated a sort of hypothesis. It might sound pessimistic, but it is based on my personal experiences and the experiences of people I know.

Being nice is only good in books and stories, but in real life being evil is so common that being nice makes you the odd one out. Then all the evil people get together and use their force to remove you from whatever place, position, or power you have. And if you listen to their story, they will show you as the evil character.

This is something that can totally make you think, "Why is this happening to me? I did all the good things, and I still got this." It can completely break your heart. Some people fall into depression, while others isolate themselves from everyone. And day by day, it feels like this is increasing.

For being good, you only get a miserable life that's what I have learned.

How easily can undergrad student would be able to understand me if I speak in English and will they able to reply me in English ?

I'm going to China soon to start my undergraduate studies, and I have a question about communication with local Chinese students.

How comfortable are Chinese university students with English? If I speak to them in English, will most of them be able to understand me? If they understand, will they also be comfortable replying in English?

I know English is taught in schools in China, but I'm not sure how much students actually use it in daily life, especially at university.

If many students are not confident speaking English, how do international students usually communicate and make friends with Chinese students? Do they mostly use translation apps, learn some Chinese, or are there other common ways to communicate?

I was disturbed but after 1 hour of High speed walking i am relaxed

So there was an argument that made me so much angry and disturbed I felt like shouting breaking something but I just went on a walk. Normally it's a slow walk but this time I did so much fast walk that my whole shirt from front to back was all drenched in sweat and I did like an hour walk and after that the feeling of anger is no longer there and even I feel calm I drank water and now I feel much better, so I learned that if you feel stressed out or any intense feeling that is disturbing you, you should give it a try, it worked for me, i think it will work for you as well.

I was being Sober for 90 days, 5 years Ago, I wanna try it again

I'm 27 now. Back in 2021, when I was 22 years old, I stayed sober from PMO for 90days, and trust me, it was difficult at times. But as I kept moving forward, I kind of understood how to handle my urges. The problem was that once I relapsed, I couldn't get back on track.

The benefits I got were amazing. Let me tell you, as far as I can remember, I gained confidence. There was something different about my eyes I don't know if it was less stress or if they just looked more relaxed, but something good definitely happened.

I was able to push myself much harder during workouts, and I gained a lot of focus and mental clarity. My social skills improved a lot too. I could start a conversation with anyone, anywhere, and it felt effortless. People would even want to join our conversations. I made a lot of friends during that time.

My mental health improved significantly as well. Now, when I think about it, I just want to be like that again. But right now, I feel like I'm stuck in a loop.

What should I gift my Chinese professor and Chinese friends when I meet them for the first time?

I'm an international student and will be joining my school soon. Before arriving, I've already connected with some students online, and they've honestly been very helpful. Whenever I ask questions about the school, they always take the time to answer, share important information, and even send me pictures of places on campus and events that are happening. Over time, they've become good friends even though we've only met online so far.

Because of that, when I finally arrive and meet them in person, I feel like I should bring something for them as a small gesture of appreciation. I'm also wondering if it would be appropriate to bring a gift for my Chinese professor when meeting them for the first time.

What kind of gifts are usually considered thoughtful and appropriate in this situation? Are there any cultural considerations I should keep in mind? As an international student, what are some good gift ideas to bring for friends and a professor on a first meeting?
