I was recommended Pandahall here by some users when I asked where to get chandelier findings for my earrings. I placed my order successfully and it gave me an order number, but days later saw an email that said I needed to verify my purchase with a code. I got an email saying to please pay so they could ship my stuff out.

The problem is I don't know what they mean or how to do it? Is this normal? I think they said I need permission from my bank? I feel like I shouldn't have to put my card info in again- I don't want to get charged twice. I'm just very confused, if anyone could help that would be great.

I can NEVER find anywhere to swim! I'm hoping for lakes and ponds but beaches as well! Thanks in advance

Well, they played around my area (tickets were in the $700s) and I really wanted to go, but the cost was holding me back. Then I ended up being hospitalized for a while (I was going buckwild, oops 😵‍💫) and missed seeing them. I was so upset that my mental conditions took yet another thing from me.. so I said screw it.. they're playing in Germany in a few months...

I don't have any kids and my boyfriend's special interest is Germany, so he was on board. It was specifically to see geese but obviously we planned a full trip around it. We saw them twice in Germany and had fantastic times both times (aside from when I realized I can no longer hold my own in a pit 😂)

It was my first time out of the country! We hit Paris for a few days in the tail end of the trip too and caught Godspeed You! Black Emporer while we were in Germany too!

I was the beach staring off into the water and sky when my eyes suddenly had a clear rapidly changing kaleidoscope pattern over everything. Every time I focused on something close in front of me it went away. But it persisted for as long as I kept doing it until it eventually got dark. Any ideas?

It's so polarizing, you have to really work to make it a balance and yin/yang versus being pulled between wanting to show your true self to the world (Leo and the sun) and wanting to withdraw and go inward for yourself alone to see (12th house)

Please convince me they exist, this sub made me realize how bad my landlord is (I already knew but I didn't realize how legally he is cutting corners and keeping us in unsanitary and cosmetically terrible conditions. I'm less concerned about the cosmetics, but he has ignored me more than once about an electrical fire hazard concern. I can't even begin to list all the stuff he has said that was rude or condescending and he has only ever helped a couple of times (when the ceiling fell in because of a massive leak, when my neighbors apartment smelled so bad it was giving up headaches and making us gag through two doors and a hallway inside our own apartment) and I have only ever mentioned the sound/ electric fire hazard, which was straight up ignored not even responded to which seems pretty risky to not acknowledge a tenants concern about fire hazards... seems legally irresponsible. I mentioned the smell too.

Anyway. Do any of you like your landlords? are they helpful? Are they nice to you, not condescending and dismissive?

My apartment, a one bedroom hole, has been extremely neglected since before we moved in and rent has gone up over 60% in 6 years. I am at my wits end with my quality of living in this apartment and house/building. I know I should contact a lawyer before I send this, but please let me know what you'd add or change. This note is even leaving some things out. This is my very first draft.

Hi (landlord) There is black mold along the staircase wall that has been there for years and needs to be removed immediately for health concerns. The railing is also falling off the wall which is against safety tenant laws I believe to have an unsafe railing and staircase. I'd also like to address that I don't think anyone ever came to check the electrical stuff to make sure that noise that happens isn't a fire hazard, I was ignored both times I brought it up. Further complaints are that there is a big build up of mildew and scum on the shower head that was there when we moved in. On a cosmetic level, my bathroom floor has been lifting and shifting since we moved in, there is big hole in the floor that I have to stuff with tin foil that was here when I moved in. The spackle in my bathroom is the wrong color, and they left a lot of cracks in the walls and holes they spackled over and flung paint around my bathroom. I will be considering contacting a lawyer and putting my rent in escrow if these concerns aren't dealt with in a timely manner. This is my official complaint about the quality of living in the apartment. I will be contacting the housing board and a tenants rights lawyer if necessary.
