I’m 61 kg and 5’1”, with a rectangular body shape. My clothes have started feeling tight, and I really want to lose weight.

I’m planning to focus on walking and a clean, balanced diet rather than anything extreme.

Sorry for posting like this, but I genuinely need advice.

I’m Female in thirties early and my mother is in late fifties. We fight almost every day. She speaks nicely to other children, but with me it feels like she spends the entire day criticizing, shouting or arguing.

Even when I’m on an office call, I repeatedly ask her not to come behind me, shout or talk loudly. But she doesn’t listen. I’ve already received warnings from work because of the background noise during my calls. I use my office headphones, but apparently they don’t have good enough noise cancellation.
I’ve explained this so many times that I’m completely exhausted.

She just does what she wants and gets angry when I say anything. If I try to communicate calmly, she either argues or starts crying.

Even something as basic as cooking my own healthy food has become difficult. I feel like I can’t even do simple things for myself peacefully at home.

I don’t remember the last time we had a normal, polite mother-daughter conversation. Most of our communication is just shouting and fighting. I’m so irritated and resentful now that I’m scared I’m starting to hate her.

I don’t want to feel this way about my own mother. I just want some peace.
