What kind of rose is this? (NOT AI, it's my photo!!!!)

I took this photo myself around 2019, In my childhood garden, it isn't AI. I was wondering if anyone knows the type of rose?

I really want the same ones as they were so beautiful

:( please don't remove mods

EDIT:

I believe we have found 2 close contenders for which they were!

Celestial night rose

WCA

I have an appointment set in a week or so for a WCA as I have fibromyalgia and since sending off the form, have been diagnosed with HSD. I didn't send any evidence at the time and only just realized that is even a thing.

How can I inform them of the change? Do I need to ring them or just tell them when I get there?

What kind of evidence can I use? Due to the nature of the conditions, medication isn't the usual route, I am also not currently in physical therapy yet. So I don't have specialist notes or medication lists.

So I was wondering how I should actually prove it?

Is it possible to just use gp appointment/assessment notes? Should I print them out?

Also, what should I expect from the appointment? Is it as bad as everyone says?

Red marks after waxing?

I waxed for the first time, used an oil, bought good wax and watched a tutorial. But my legs are covered in these now and I struggled to get all the hair.

Any advice?

Manipulative FMC pretends to be innocent, age gap

I'm looking for a book with a manipulative FMC, who pretends to be innocent and a dangerous mmc who thinks she needs protecting when she actually *is* the danger.

I'd like for her to be lying about something, like illegal activities or lying about who she is whilst pretending to be innocent to emotionally manipulate him.

I'd like there to be an age gap with an older MMC but this is probably already a big ask already so it's not super important as long as she's manipulating a somewhat powerful man.

I'm considering making myself homeless.

When I was a kid, my mother deliberately made herself homeless. Said she couldn't stand another minute living with my narcissist family who basically made her an outcast.

I was around 13 at the time and slept rough with her, went to food banks, basically fully immersed myself in the homeless life style.

I've been sofa surfing for a months now because I'm starting to feel the same way as she did and I can't afford even a single bedroom in a house share.

My family want nothing to do with me out of embarrassment. I don't get invited to family stuff, they ruin all my belongings then laugh at me when I snap.

Every time I go home, I get so depressed I feel like I HAVE to leave immediately. They aren't abusive (anymore, though they'd debate that they ever were) but I just feel like I'm living with strangers who don't like me. And I don't like them.

I feel like I'm getting to the end of my tether, being bullied when no one else seems to notice it and would rather be homeless than have to go home for the sake of my own mental health.

Every time I go back, I end up having to ring Samaritans and I'm tired of having to convince myself I'm overreacting when I can just leave.

I grew up with addicts who "unschooled" me. Ask me anything!

I (18f) grew up in a house with no hot water or gas, with my addict mother and her friends.

We weren't charged rent until covid hit and the land lady realized we had been there for years without paying.

(Her husband died and she acquired the property, never bothered checking it out. She only found out because her daughter wanted the house.)

I never really had to go to school, later being pulled out completely.

Despite the odd circumstances, I had a very happy childhood and still speak to my mother, though I no longer live with her!

Ask me anything.

IWTL How to self study as an adult with no formal education?

I had 20% attendance in school before being pulled out by my parents, thus I have no formal qualifications.

I can barely add or subtract, my science is equally as bad, although my English is ok.

I struggle with routine as I've never really well. . . Had one.

my question is:

How do I learn to do the act of studying, solo, as an adult when I've never done it?

How do I find what to study?

How to get smarter when I can barely add and subtract?

I didn't ever really go to school, then at 14, my parents pulled me out permanently to home educate. (Watch TV and do no studying)

I never sat my Maths or English, or anything.

I want to become more intelligent. I see posts from girls my age talking about how important it is for a woman to be educated and I feel like I've messed up.

I envy people who post pictures of them at university, talking about being "disgustingly educated".

I like reading, so my English is ok, but my math is appalling. I struggle with basic numeracy, don't remember a single science lesson besides human biology.

It's like I can literally feel how SLOW my brain is.

The only thing I feel slightly ahead in is mechanics, as I can clean a motorbike carb, change an oil filter but not much else.

I struggle to compute things and have to read them multiple times to get the gist.

Now I'm 18 I'm watching everyone I know go on to uni, studying abroad, ECT and feel deeply left out.

I guess I was just wondering. . . How do I even begin to start?

How can I improve my intelligence?

How to improve first CV (18yo, no education)

I only worked at the farm job for a few days, the pub job however was a handful of shifts over the span of a few weeks. It was cash in hand but from what I've read that doesn't seem to matter?

I wasn't sure whether to put the farm one as I didn't work there long at all, but when I asked my local job center and they said i should put it anyway.

I have no GCSE's, attended a college for a couple months with nothing to show for it, I went and got level 2 food and hygiene literally just to have something to put on this.

How can I improve upon this?

Is this bad gum recession?

I haven't been able to go to the dentist for a while, when I last went I was told I have gum disease. I smoke but it's medical -i can't really not as it's for pain control.

Is this bad gum recession?

I'm 18, and feel like they are going back. I got an electric toothbrush recently and felt the bristles were making it worse so got a sensitive brush head.

I do grind my teeth but wear a night guard

Any advice is appreciated.

Raised in an anti vax family and scared of getting one

I was raised in a pretty anti vac community, I got them as a kid but just got a text message telling me to get some.

I know I should, but I'm very anxious due to the things I've been told, although I know doctors know best.

The particular one I'm planning on getting is MenB as I just received a message saying I never received it.

I was just wondering if anyone has any resources to help get over the fear?

I will tell them I've gotten it, but I will get a lot of family backlash and want to know what I'm doing is best.

(FOR MODS: I just want to clarify I am NOT asking for medical advice. I just want some reassurance and some facts.)

If I tell my gp, will they report it to the police?

I want to talk to my GP above my father's past abuse and how he strangled me, as I'm looking to access some resources to move out of his house and get support.

But I don't want them to report it to police.

He strangled me 3-4 years ago and my brother had to get him off of me. He denies it and I'm not sure my brother will tell the truth if asked.

I didn't report it as at the time I didn't want to go into care or be homeless.

I'm 18 now, he hasn't hit me in years but I feel uncomfortable living with him still, hence want to speak to my doctor about it and also access some mental health support.

No one else is at risk as only my adult brother lives with him, whom he gets on with, but I'm really worried they'll tell the police, as that will make my family and friends view me in a different way and potentially impact my brother as he lives with him.

Sofa surfing between boyfriends and abusive dads place, England. What can I receive? If anything

For a bit of context, I'm 18 in England.

I have no formal education and I currently only receive about £300 UC a month and don't have to search for work.

I have a work capability assessment at some point due to a few health conditions, which affect things like my joints and mobility and energy, but haven't been given a date yet.

(Note to MODS: This isn't a vent, but the information feels relevant)

My dad strangled me a couple times in the past, hit me, ECT, nothing lately but I don't feel safe at his and it's really impacting my mental health. I have no income, so HAVE to be there. I've recently been staying at my boyfriend's a lot but it isn't sustainable.

Will UC have any issue with me having stayed in a neighbouring city a lot recently instead of the address they have for me?

It isn't permanent and I'm not sure how they'd find out unless they checked my transactions.

I didn't have any appointments so didn't feel it was necessary to update them, but I also haven't told anyone because this is quite embarrassing and shameful to me and I didn't want anyone to find out.

Is there any sort of benefits or help I can receive for housing or anything? And would it be best I tell them about the situation? Thanks.

Sofa surfing betweenabusive dad and abusive boyfriends house

A bit of context I am 18, live in England.

Moved in with my Dad at 13 after he alienated me from my mother, and he hated me from the get go. (He's on my birth certificate but my mother told me he isn't the father and I HAVE met my real dad, so not really sure what to do with that)

He randomly flies into a rage and occasionally has hit me, twice has strangled me and not stopped until someone stops him. One of the times my brother had to get him off. Nothing physical has happened since last time he did it, but I've been trying to distance myself from him.

He's pretending nothing ever happened and is asking to go out for cake and coffee all the time, ECT. I've tried to pretend nothing is wrong but he honestly makes me very uncomfortable and feels like a stranger.

I'm currently bouncing between his house and my boyfriend's -my boyfriend is spending my limited money on weed, I've tried to say no but sometimes he'll just take the card, then get angry at me for being upset because it's "not a lot of money anyway". He's hit me before too and is generally toxic, although not as bad as my dad.

I feel trapped, bouncing between the two and having to pretend everything is normal to all my friends and family who ask how I am, because non of them believe it, or they just say I need to get over it because where will I live? I was home educated due to poor mental health, so have no education or work experience.

I'm working on getting a job with support from the council but I'm struggling. I also have disabilities which I'm waiting on referrals for, for physical therapy for my joint issues and such

It's getting to the point I'd rather be homeless and just move away from everyone I know, even the ones I like. I don't WANT anyone I know to know what's been happening.

If anyone can spare some advice, it'd be greatly appreciated.

I feel road blocked every time I seek help for my mental health

I've been absolutely off the rails lately with impulsivity issues, spending, destroying my relationships, reputation, ECT and feel like I'm unable to control myself.

Every time I mention it to my GP they suggest it's depression which i feel it's not quite the right fit. I tried to take their advice on board and felt no improvement as I feel amazing when making these poor decisions.

I've had a referral to a mental health team as one gp thought it was bipolar and it was rejected for unspecified reasons.

I've been bounced around a couple different doctors who just suggest I self refer to CBT (which I've done before) and that it's depression.

I just want to clarify, I'm not asking for speculation on the actual condition, just trying to get advice on how to "move along" getting the right help or if I'm actually wrong and should just listen to them?

Thanks

Best supplements for fibromyalgia and Pcos?

Hii I have PCOS and fibromyalgia, I get irregular periods, joint pain, acne, hirutism, fatigue and joint pain but DON'T have any insulin resistance, hormonal imbalance or blood sugar issues regarding my pcos.

I am working with my doctor to manage these but have basically been told nothing they can do. Wondering if anyone has found any useful supplements? Thanks :)

My GP "can't help " because I'm already thin

I've felt a bit lost lately regarding my PCOS. I have irregular periods, facial hair and acne but no weight gain. My insulin, hormones and blood sugar are all normal according to blood tests and my GP has said because there's no weight for me to lose, there's not much they can do other than birth control.

I've tried so much birth control and it only makes my symptoms worse and makes me gain weight.

I feel best when I'm eating well and lightly exercising (I can't do heavy exercise due to fibromyalgia) but feel there's only so much I can do with life style adjustments to manage this condition and all hormonal treatments terrify me because I feel my facial hair, ECT got WORSE with birth control.

Please recommend me books, channels, documentaries to help cope or deal with my situation

Reading is my comfort and I am really struggling to leave my abusive bf. Please recommend books that could help me or any I could maybe relate to? Or YouTube channels, ECT.

A bit of context for my situation, I am financially dependent with no work experience or money to my name and I rely on my controlling, cheating and just not very kind boyfriend:(

I was home educated and never sat any exams, so don't have many friends or stability or even anything to put on a CV. I only have him.

I feel really ashamed about telling any family or anyone other than u guys.

I'm trying to work up the courage to leave but I'm struggling as he's the only person I've ever been able to depend on, so any books, blogs, ECT relating to the topic or advice is appreciated!

Have can I improve texture and skin?

I was wondering how I can improve my skin texture and spots?

(Besides not scratching spots, I don't normally do that but had a boring couple days and accidentally did it)

I was using haruharu black rice face wash -the one without salicylic acid and it was preventing spots whilst keeping my skin moisturized really well. but all cleansers seem to irritate my face after I've used them for a couple weeks to months, even CeraVe and Cetaphil.

I've stripped my routine back, I'm using just warm water and skin 1004 soothing gel to try and get the irritated ones under control and heal it for now, but how can I treat the actual spots and texture issues when that's done?

I have sensitive oily and flaky combination skin and also have a lot of tiny facial hairs that seem to be the cause of a lot of the texture issues which is making me feel a bit lost.

Most exfoliants cause me irritation and spots.
