It’s an utterly ridiculous metal to make a watch out of in this day and age, particularly one that is nominally intended for hard use as a diver. (Yes, I’m aware that we’re all using dive computers these days, but still.) That said, it has a unique glow and man, I’m a sucker for a gray dial. Sure, it tarnishes, but that’s half the fun. 😉

What’s your favorite style/material? Personally speaking, I love the absolute minimalism of a straight body cone nose, but a recessed step nose is pure Autmog. As for materials, I love the glow of aluminum, the patina and heft of bronze, and the strength of titanium – basically, I love ‘em all. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Late night Whole Foods run the missus and Mark.

I wound up giving my previous ArkPro Ultra to my nephew last week. (I was visiting my sister in LA and he took a “shine” to it, so to speak. 😉)

As such, I had to order a new one - in black this time around - and now I’m back to square one with the ArkBeat. 😒 (I made it up to blue with my OG Pro. Ugh.)

Anyway, I’m digging the stealth look, even if it makes it that much harder (impossible) to find in the dark.

Been a while since I grabbed this one from the ol’ watch box.
