Hi everyone! 👋 Is anybody attending the Inner Engineering in-person four-day event at Broadway Boston starting tomorrow, Thursday, through Sunday? It’s my first time, and I hear it can be intense. I’d love to connect with others who are going—whether it’s your first time too or you’ve attended before. Feel free to comment or DM me if you’d like to meet up. I’m commuting all the way from my town to the city for this, so it would be great to connect with some fellow participants! 🙏🏼
I grew up as one of those girls whose first love was her dad. I know that sounds cliché, but I genuinely won the parent lottery. My father did everything for me — sometimes even more than my mom. He'd drop me off at karate at 5 AM, massage my legs when they ached from training, and never stop until I fell asleep. Every morning, he'd wake me up with a kiss on my cheek or ear (which annoyed teenage me to no end). He sang with me despite having a terrible voice, drove me back and forth between Chennai and Pondy every single time, gave me head massages so good I'd pass out mid-oil, and never let me go grocery shopping alone.
I came from a loving home, but life got complicated. I went through an abusive arranged marriage and an unexpected divorce — the kind that leaves you carrying shame you never asked for, especially in a society where you worry more about what neighbors think than your own healing. All I wanted was to fix things. To remarry, to bring home a "nice guy," to remove the stain I thought my family wore because of me. I wanted my dad to see that I was okay, that he didn't need to feel guilty for finding the wrong match for me.
The wait to go home felt endless. But I was finally ready.
A month before I arrived, my dad died of a heart attack.
All I got was his frozen body. So many words left unspoken. So much love I never said out loud while I could.
Now I send voice notes to a number that doesn't work. I write to someone who can't write back. And I know, with a certainty that breaks me over and over, that no one is ever going to love me like my dad did.
If your father is still here — if you have parents you love, people you care about — do not wait. Say it now. Say the thank yous, the I love yous, the "you matter to me"s. We all think we have time until we don't.
To those celebrating today — hug your dads extra tight. To those missing theirs — you're not alone. And to my Appa, wherever you are: I hope you knew. I really hope you knew.
Happy Father's Day. 🙏🏼 😘❤️
I love to travel overseas ✈️ and I’m always adding new places to the list. Sapiosexual here — a sharp mind gets my attention faster than anything else.
A few honest questions instead of a bio: What are you most proud of yourself for? And what’s something you learned the hard way that actually stuck?
I’m into swimming and working on getting better at it (advanced strokes, technique, the whole thing), good food, real conversation, and staying curious. Drug-free, surgery-free, caffeine-free, Debt-free and low-key proud of it. People say I look put-together without trying — though my brother got slightly thicker and longer eyelashes than me, still not over it.🤪
I’m not here for casual or undefined. Looking for a man in his 30s-40s, grounded, no kids, who knows what he wants and says so.
What’s your answer to either question above? DM me and If we vibe, happy to trade pictures and move toward meeting in person — that’s the goal. 😊🙏🏼
ok so i need help lol
im from boston and trying to plan a trip for july/august, 2-3 weeks somewhere overseas. done solo travel before and i actually like it but i get so lonely by day 3 its not even funny
so ive been looking into those tours where a bunch of solo travelers get grouped together with a guide?? has anyone actually done one of these. like did u bond with people or was it just awkward strangers on a bus. which company did u use
also genuinely asking bc i cant find good answers — where would u go as a solo woman in summer that actually feels safe. my options rn are
specifically wondering about walking alone at night, whether harassment is bad in tourist season, stuff like that. not looking for travel blog answers lol just what u actually experienced. ty!!

HR professional here, getting back into the workforce after a career gap. I've been using Claude with a project set up — my resume is stored there, and I paste in job descriptions to get tailored resumes and cover letters. It works but I'm still doing a lot of manual copy-pasting one job at a time.
Curious if anyone has found a smarter way. Specifically: how do you batch process multiple job descriptions without copy-pasting each one? And has anyone used Claude or any other tool to score a job listing against your own background before you even decide to apply?
Not looking to spam hundreds of applications — just want 10 quality ones per day faster. Would love to hear what's actually worked for people coming from a non-tech/ tech background.
Millennial woman here — funny, goofy, and yes, corporate with an MBA. Don't hold that last part against me.
I love food in all forms — cooking it, eating it, tracking it down at hole-in-the-wall spots nobody knows about yet. Add history, psychology, traveling, swimming, volunteering, hiking, biking, music, movies, concerts and indoor skydiving to the list. Extreme sports though? Absolutely not. I'd like to survive long enough to actually meet someone great.
I feel things deeply, show up fully, and nothing draws me in more than a real unhurried conversation with someone who actually has something to say.
Looking for a man in his 30s or 40s, no kids, grounded and genuinely present. Someone who isn't just going through the motions.
If any of this sounds like you, tell me your favorite hidden gem restaurant in Boston or the last thing that genuinely changed how you think.
Bonus points if you can make me laugh. Negative points if your opener is "hey." We're adults. We can do better. 😄

Hey everyone! I’m a female traveler from Boston and I’m finally planning my first big solo trip for June/July. I’ve got 15–30 days and am leaning toward Eastern Europe because it seems safe, budget-friendly, and walkable.
Since I'm a newbie and a bit nervous about doing this alone, I’m looking into group tours. A few questions for the seasoned travelers here:
Group Tours: Has anyone used G Adventures or Intrepid for this region? Did you feel like you had a good balance of group stuff and free time, or were you stuck with the group 24/7?
Room Sharing: I’m planning to do the "room share" option to save money. Is that usually a decent experience, or does it get awkward with a stranger? Any tips for making it work?
Flights: Since I’m flying out of Boston, is it usually better to book my own flights or let the tour company handle them?
Recommendations: If you’ve been to Eastern Europe recently and loved a specific tour, please let me know. I just want to see some cool history without the stress of managing all the transit connections myself.
Any tips for a total beginner would be awesome.
Thanks a ton!
