STFU about the Super Tough Farm Unit

Reply to a post about BFDIA 25, where the characters constructed a building called the Super Tough Farm Unit, as part of a running gag where names of things spell out acronyms like Locker Of Losers, or the Tiny Loser Chamber

When and how did you know you weren’t straight

I’m a bit young and I’m really questioning my sexuality and I just want an idea of how you knew.

Nerding out so much I burst out laughing in class.

So I’m a high schooler, and I’m taking Latin. It’s really helpful for expanding vocabulary and shit and can help on SATs. But because im a mythology and other stuff nerd sometimes I recognize something and it’s just really funny.

We were going over vocab and one of the words was vox. Vox is actually pronounced in Latin like “wox”, but I still thought of Hazbin Hotel. In each unit we have sentences to translate, and one of my friends that also watches hazbin was translating “the voice of the people is often the voice of god” into Latin. That translates to “Vox populī saepe vox deī”. I burst out laughing because those are names of songs the character Vox sings in hazbin. In fact on lyric is literally “hail vox populi, the people’s voice”. I made up an excuse for why I was bursting out laughing and we continued. The best part is that at the end of each chapter, theres a quote relating to smth in the chapter. The quote at the end of that chapter just so happened to be “Rome was not built in one day” which just makes this all so much funnier.

As a bonus, the passage we had to translate had a sentence with the name Politam. Latin is kinda funky where the context changes the end of the word, and this word had been changed through the context. We were talking about the Trojan war and basically the base form of Politam is actually Polites. Obv this is not the polites that was on odysseus’ crew it was a different guy but I still got a big smile reading it.

My theater teacher has been dropping hints about next year’s musical, what do you think it could be?

Here is some other info that was given:

For the equation, x=38

The person making these posts doesn’t usually say “gander”

Show is tragic but also a bit funny

I’m in high school, so this is something a high school could realistically do.

Show debuted on broadway in 2014-2015

I’m in a big gc with all the theater kids and the majority of us think that it’s gonna be Come From Away. I personally agree, and our biggest evidence is that the director doesn’t usually say “gander” and Gander is the name of the town in Come From Away. Our other big thing is 38. The second song in CFA is 38 Planes for the 38 planes diverted on 9/11.

This is everything me and my fellow theater kids have put together, but if you think it’s smth else pls lmk

Need help on Decadent cake tower tr 24

This is my current setup. So far this is the one I’ve gotten the furthest with, managing to widdle her down to just 12 mil health. This is basically my reasoning for choosing each cookie: Hollyberry absorbs the initial blow protecting the team, mfc usually dies from it so i use pvc, bsc does a lot of damage and tanks the opening blow as well, smc can revive pv if needed, and wlc is my strongest cookie.

I have all the cookies unlocked except timekeeper if that helps

How to remove invasive turtles from small ponds?

My school has a small wildlife pond built specifically to house ducks and ducklings. However, a group of invasive Red Eared Sliders, a species of turtle, have moved into the pond. There are about 9 now and they are very harmful to the ducklings as well as just being invasive.

They keep dragging the ducklings underwater to drown them. Last week, a total of 12 baby ducklings were born, and now only two remain. Additionally, one cannot live in the wild as the turtles bit its leg off.

I live in northern New Jersey and we really need a way to 1) get the turtles out of the pond, and 2) find a place that will take them.

As you can see this is a big problem, and if they stay in the pond for too long they will likely overpopulate
