Just finished the whole show. Holy Peak.

I went into this expecting a chill slice of life with maybe some minor mysterious bits and light sci-fi, i did NOT expect a full thought provoking experience about keeping a god in check while preventing it from realizing what its capable of. Yet another masterpiece comes out of Kyoani. They just don't miss.

My favorite character had to be either Koizumi or Yuki, but there wasn't a single character i outright disliked. I loved how they just went full Evangelion in ep 2 (CHRONOLOGICAL) with Yuki, and how generally serious it would sometimes get, even if the situations they were in were absurd. I watched it in chronological order in dub and the voice acting was amazing. Also, chronological is DEFINITELY the best because doing it otherwise spoils the mystery buildup at the start and just turns into a weird mess in the later parts.

I understand the references in Lucky Star now.

Youve probably seen the question thousand times, but what order should i watch it?

For a first time watch, is it true that doing it in broadcast is an outdated order, WHEN INCLUDING SEASON 2 CONTENT? I cant get a clear answer on this anywhere and i really want to watch this show but this feels like one of those works that the order i watch it in is going to take away from the experience, and i want to give it the best shot i can.

[Extraordinarily confusing trope] Complex watch orders

I definitely don't like them, but sometimes i understand them and its reasonable a lot of times, but my WORD some of these shows can get ridiculous with their ordering.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya: They didn't expect to make a season 2, so they ordered the episodes in a way that ended the show on a positive note instead of what was supposed to happen chronologically. Woop de doo, there's a second season, and its episode 1 is actually episode 8 and other really weird placements. At least the movie is fully after the shows cannon.

Monogatari: Im not gonna lie bro i didn't end up watching much of this one, but it still fits this post very well. The light novels were adapted in non chronological order, with each "season" being treated as an entirely different show, combined with the series already confusing storytelling (that's the one good thing ill say about this show it had great cinematography.. too bad THATS what they were showing with it), made a headache inducing experience mapping out

Girls und Panzer: Main show is only 12 episodes and covers a small part of the source material. How do they deal with this when the shows got really popular and they wanted to adapt more of it? IF YOU SAID MAKE A 70 EPISODE OVA SERIES WITH SPONTANIOUS CANNONOSITY YOU WOULD BE CORRECT. Not to mention the films, spinoffs, and other related media that makes this possibly the single most confusing thing i've ever tried to map out.

I think the best way to deal with this is to just create a very easy to read map of the chronology, if the series is made with that type of storytelling, because i have seen other works whose release order actually ended up creating a better story, but these examples are... not that. The monogatari "community" actually has a really good diagram for this, haruhi's... is a landmine i don't want to step on and i'm still trying to figure out GuP.

The xbox app on my pc wont open no matter what

It just doesn't react when i try to open it. Now indow, no spin, nothing. I see it in task manger for one frame before crashing. I have:

  • Repaired the app in settings
  • Reset the app in settings
  • Deleted it and redownloaded it
  • Restarted Gaming services
  • Completely reinstalled gaming services
  • Used the xbox app repair tool

None of these changed anything. Its still the same, and its the only program on my pc that is doing this. Any ideas?

Whatever this visual/animation thing in music videos is called

Seriously, I don tknow what it is but it looks so cool to me and i love it when animators do it. I love how its used too with it representing looping or repeating something.

What is happening to me?

I want to start this by saying i have no learning disabilities, i am capable of living on my own, keeping a job e.t.c, and yet i just cant grasp some basic things.

There are more examples of this, but these are the only two i can come up with right now off the top of my head. The first one is I cant learn how to tie a knot. No matter how many times i try, no matter who shows me or how many people show me, what method they use, or anything like that, i just cant learn it. I WAS A BOY SCOUT. One of the only badges i couldn't get was the one for survival knots. (However i can tie a sailors knot for some fucking reason).

The second is... swimming. I live in a bay area, and its the same story with the knots. I cant learn how to swim. And just like knots, I WAS IN SWIMMING LESSONS FOR MULTIPLE YEARS. I had to leave the swimming lessons because i almost drowned. The whole class was doing an exercise to jump into the deep end, and simply float back up. I jumped, smacked into the bottom of the pool, inhaled a ton of water, the instructor brings me up and i throw up a shit ton of water. I still go fishing, but its scary thinking if i fall into the water.

Any explanation for this? Its starting to give me fears for later in life.

Edit: A comment reminded me that i forgot how to ride a bike. I used to ride bikes quite a bit but skinned both my knees one day while riding (because i got caught on an abandoned train track - story for another time) and stopped for a while. When i tried to get back on , i couldn't even remember how to get back on. I could probably re learn if i tried though so i dont think this to be as severe as the previously mentioned.

I wish there was somewhere you could just get dlc

It gets a little tiring to have to download an entire game just to pull off its dlc files. I like paying for games, but there are some with just too many dlc for me to want to deal with.

Is there a database or list somewhere with all real objects?

Is there anywhere that i can find the total list of real objects put into space engine? It would be nice for me to have a full excel sheet with the objects for reference instead of just the in game object browser, which is useful, but doesnt give nearly enough information or organization tools i want.
