Machinist to millwright?
Title, i just had some questions about it
I heard that machinist to millwright is a common path and that some programs will count machinist hours and experience as credit and hours for being a millwright
How does that work? And how do most programs typically credit you for machinist experience?
Questions about electrician apprenticeship testing

Questions about becoming an electrician and moving from US to Canada
Title, Basically i want to move to canada ideally as soon as possible, but i also want to become an electrician.
My intital idea was to get an apprenticeship program at a local IBEW branch near me in the us. Then simply transfer maybe a year or two so in to a IBEW branch in canada and finish it there.
I learned that apparently this isnt possible and id have to restart from scratch including in hours. So best i can tell the best bet is to get into an IBEW branch apprenticeship program, then complete journeyman license and finally take the red seal exam before transfering to canada then get my masters cert in canada itself.
Does this sound like the most optimal route to you all? im wiling to bust my ass if it means geting it done faster. Also is there anyway to shorten the amount of time it takes to become journeyman so i can preferably take the red seal as soon as possible?

Questions on AI models.
So im not a huge AI person but i can recongize merit in a tool when i see it
My current usage of AI is simple: use it to help point me in a general starting direction for research and parseing and summerizing data such as osint data from various paltforms thats uncensored and private
I dont need something perfect i dont care for something that does the thinking for me i want something that can both take a question like "If i wanted to do X where would i start?" and do real research from there and or "You will parse data from these sources and give me a summed up general regular report" with my privacy intact and not limited by things like censorship basic stuff for a llm to my understanding
What would you all recommend?
Dripline questions?
So say a market garden scenario raised planter beds inside and outside
Assumedly as the line goes on pressure will decrease as it goes down the line leading to inconsistant water flows from the start to the end to my understanding. Theres also the problem of where branches fall into this equation becausr obviously per raised bed your realistically going to want maybe 2 to 4 branches of dripline how does that effect pressure as well?
And presumably you dont want a water pump for every planter so hows that done with a single or few pumps anyway?
Questions about investments
So i live in the us i want to live and become a citizen in canada i am 24 i want to invest in things like mutual funds and etfs and built my portfolio on a brokerage
However i want to move in a few years and invest in a cooperative in canada which i plan to work at long term
When researching this canadas effective tax can be as high state provoincial as 55% US doesnt respect tfsas or any other canadian account but if i have a roth i cant invest only pull out so probably not even worth bothering if i move to canada i cant invest in mutual funds i have there only sell or keep so realistically going to sell and or wanna buy those in canada but then if i buy them in canada im going to suffer even worse taxes and then etfs i guess are more tax efficent somehow but i gotta calculate some portion of the taxes somehow and then i gotta figure out how going my share of a cooperative in canada works both moved here and out and then how to transfer everything between the US to canada and
HOLY FUCK IM GOING TO GO INSANE.
I dont even know if its even worth investing PERIOD till i become a canadian citizen due to all this shit anymore
Is it even worth even geting assets? I cant even fucking tell anymore or if ill save more just straight up fucking keeping it all cash im going to fucking scream
I cant afford spending thousands of dollars a year for a tax professional just to get even a fucking CLUE how to start approching this im fucked what the fuck is this man
Questions on investments when moving
So heres the deal. Im 24 i plan to invest in mutual or etfs that track the market mainly im from the US cool fantastic.
Problem. I plan to move to canada eventually and live there as my primary residence. However how does taxes work. I understand this is textbook situation for a tax professional but what im wondering right now is should i even invest at all with the nightmare its going to be if i do?
My brokerage likely wont trasnfer if i have a mutual fund i cant invest in it but can take out anymore likely and pay taxes presumably to both the us and canada but then i cant invest in canadian mutual funds because of taxws but also if i have an etfs and try to transfer them itll trigger tax issues and what about a 401k or roth is it even worth bothering if its in a few years and
FUCK this shit makes my head spin dual taxes makes everything nightmarishly complicated to understand what i can do what i can do and what i should eben bother with in any timespan because of it or how moving to canada when the time comes is even going to work
Actinidia arguta invasive or not invasive?
The species was apparently around 80 million years ago in the americas which was a long time so its been here before technically, i like its a fast growing vine with fruit but obviously dont like the prospect of it suffocating trees
some states recongize it as invasive most places apparently dont
there said that things like deer and birds love em and will eat em but also that there an issue?
so what is the deal?
