Currently for a nice smooth quiet ride for max longetivity and easily maintained and repaired its between best i can tell a buick regal tourx and a volvo v50 or v60 buick regal tourx seems way more common on the market for sell but the volvo v50 is near non exsistant on the used market in comparison

volvo v50 has pricer parts but apparently better parts availability then the buick regal tourx

so what do you all think on this one?

So i was looking into this car as a first on the used market i want a station wagon and i dont mind going older but lexus never made a station wagon or a roomy coup that isnt super rare mercedes is pricy as fuck to repair and needs perfect maintence to run well volvo is great but the options i want like the volvo v50 are scarce and struggle with parts avaibility and so far buick regal touring seems the best

however hows the reliability i hear its pretty good albeit not lexus levels, and more importantly how servicable is it for the average person and whats the parts avalbility like espesically when you get an inevitable ding

im planning to ideally have a car for life or at least most of it and volvo v50 seems nice something reliable comfortable ride not too complex good looking and there the only option for a wagon else id probably go lexus

Im in the US west coast and was wondering how common it is to see these things as they seem very rare on used markets besides that i was wondering what should i know about making this thing live as long as possible its reliability mods that improve reliability besides obvious maintence retuneing checkups like stronger then stock parts i can get?

How reliable is a volvo v50? It appare tly shares alot of parts with a ford focus but apparently ford focus was a shit car so whats the deal with v50?

v60 is no toyota or lexus but realistically if i get a used v60 from early 2000s how many miles with proper maintence can i expect to keep the thing running assuming i dont mind forking up cash to fix any major issues to keep ig going even longer. I want something for life or at least a few decades

so im a goth bitch asthetically is there a station wagon i dont need a full hearse worth of space but is there a station wagon that has the feel of a luxury hearse but soild mpg not a fortune and actually reliable easy and cheap to repair without being a landboat?

So iv been looking for a for life car and aside from awful milage i really do like this car but how expensive is it to repair and maintain when the inevitable happens and how is it as a daily driver?

So i live in the US in a ideal world id have a fuel efficent diesel wagon made by toyota so high reliability and all that but that doesnt exist

i mainly need a daily commuter short term and long term ill need something thatll be capable in the sticks im only one person so i dont want something massive but something big enough to camp in and generous cargo space for haulung

and some decent fuel efficency

bonus points if theres a way to get a maximally comfortable rideing experience

So the car seems great but i gotta save for it of course looking on facebook marketplace though there is little to no ct200h's that are 2014 or later if there is there highly priced or been rebuilt etc etc and it makes me worried that even if i save for the car there just might not be any left for me to buy as im looking to get it as a first and damn neae only car if i can keep it running for the rest of my life

So i just have a general question if the problem with tints is that at night theres issues with seeing if you get something like mirrow tint as a first layer and then darkening tint as a second thats not nearly as dark dont you esseintally get the effects of both while having more clarity? And the mirror tint becoming redundant at night so you can still see?

So most people if they wanna mod the asthetics want it to look newer and flashier but i quite like the look of "old money" sorta 90s cars that are understated and elegent.... do ya all know if theres any kits that exist out there or how id possibly even go about making a mod like that myself mainly for the front of it?

So i was looking into priuses but wanted something a little nicer and the CT200 seems like a great fit espesically since in my area its ironically cheaper then a gen 3 prius on facebook marketplace but i had some concerns such as

at what point is it too many miles to buy? and how do you tell if someone maintained it well and find someone who for sure maintained it well to begin with if it wasent maintained well is it basically just fucked and not worth it or can it be delt with long term practically with some extra cash?

So its been roughly about 4 years technically on HRT though the results have been.... mixed for insurance reasons mostly and some life ones on and off again however

my T levels have been in target ranges but my E levels have always been below target range and i cant figure out why i take sublingual tablets have been for a while im up to a full 8 mg 2 morning 2 night and it just hasent been geting me to target levels its still only around 100 and i cant figure it out

as of late iv been spacing 1 out every few or so hours and have yet to test theres been indications its spiked my levels but i have no idea yet if im finally at target ill have to get the test after a few days.... but if im not at target any ideas girls? im fucken lost i dont know whether im taking it wrong somehow iv just been puting it as far back as possible under the tongue and not swallowing leting dissolve as long as possible to maximize it as of late if it still isnt in target ranges i dont know what else it could be

So anyone else have experiences of persistantly being highly under target for years even max dose on hrt despite taking the tablets and perhaps what fixed it for you?

So basically i want a fuel efficent reliable easy to fix minivan or stationwagon that ideally takes dieasel for reference current vehicle im thinking of geting is a prius simply cause of the compact size the cargo space the reliability and how easy it is to fix

toyota has a bulletproof reputation and i pretty much dont wanna go with much else i aint really a car person i just want something thats going to last me my life i can customize personally and suits my needs

ideally id have prius levels of efficency or something close to it without hybrid but rather diesel in the body of something like a ct200 but alas i cant find anything least not in the US market that likely isnt a fortune to import so any ideas?

Also another thing to add.... minimal tech if possible if it has less tech i do not consider that a downside i consider that a plus if i want tech i can add the tech myself and tech i know the car wont be reliant on to function i dont care for a stupid screen in the console id rather physical buttons

So with upholstery how hard is it to do without foam? You obviously need to pack it with something but how did they keep the stuffing in place while they did it and how comfortable is old properly done button upholstery?

What is the weight capacity and towing capacity of the prius anyway? I plan to add thick as possible insulation for sound and thermal to use as camper and plan to haul things like appliances or furniture or just pack up and move in it if need be or tow if need be and was curious in whag its capable of

So im curious when it comes to dwelling in the prius can you install outlets for small camping appliances or chargeing them how do you get ventalation what is generally the best sound and thermal insulation you can install and how do you stay stealthy?

So i want a fuel efficent dieasel minivan or hatchback with alot of cargo space if i need it thats as simple and non digital as possible and this seems great but i aint a car person and whenever i go look for used ones pretty much all of them have 100'000 miles on them or even higher.... i dont want to buy a car thats just going to shit on me immeditally but i dont havw a ton of money to spend on a brand new one.... what do you all think?

So i most need a car with high fuel milage and reliablity but i most like cars that are as simple as practical and reliable best i can tell high milage dieasels aint in the US and most hybrids cant be ran if the battery dies not counting the digital control system in modern cars in general

Id ideally like something like a high milage dieasel in the US but theres nothing like that i can find here that isnt of a very unreliable make and model and not a minivan id need

Any ideas? Maybe alternatively a hybrid that could at least still drive with its base motor if the battery shits itself?
