I DC'd for the first time today...

I've been playing for months, since March, maybe February of this year, and I've never disconnected on purpose before.

I was playing Deathslinger with a masquerade mask, just trying to have a decent time. I'm put up against a swf with flashlights, and I equip lightborn in my flex perk spot. The instant they figure it out, they don't use flashlights the rest of the game, which is fine by me. I'd use the poison and try my best, but every time I got someone injured in chase they'd fix it immediately with the dinner effect. I think I only got three hooks by the time the third gen was done. And anytime I'd aim to fire they'd eat the stupid stuffed trotters and zip out of view, so I didn't get much value out of my actual power.

And lastly, the tbagging. I was already having a hard day, then a hard match, but once they were confident they were going to escape, and started mocking me for it, I just gave up. I've had lots of frustrations with this game and in these matches, but I just couldn't do it this time.

Behavior, fuck you and fuck this event.

Dexter Morgan Survivor concept

Tonight's the night. The mysterious man stalked his next victim, a criminal he had been hunting for days. He prepared his syringe, and began to follow the next blood slide, only to be met with a thick black fog. He lost track of his target, only to see four new faces. A strange voice, his dark passenger no doubt, told him to kill those four... However, unlike the blood hungry that came before him, he had no interest in these four innocent people. He refused, only to be pulled back into the fog by a sharp hook. When he awoke once more, he was without his tools, and on the other side of the knife... He couldn't punish these killers, but maybe he could save a few lives while he was here...

Perks designed to punish killers and protect survivors

Born in Blood: pools of other survivors blood are brighter to you, and your blood is brighter to the killer. Whenever you're walking on another survivors blood pools that survivor has 1/2/3% haste, and whenever the killer is walking on your blood pools they have 1/2/3% hindered. This effect lasts for 3/4/5 seconds after they stop walking on blood pools.

Dark Passenger: If you were to take a protection hit for another survivor, they're injured instead, you and that survivor gain 40/45/50% haste for 4 seconds, and then you and that survivor gain exhausted for 50 seconds. If they're already injured they instead are inflicted with deep wound, and you lose a health state.

Butcher of Bay harbor: Whenever you repair 25% of a generator, you earn one token up to a maximum of 1. Whenever you drop a pallet and successfully stun the killer, it instantly breaks, and the killer is stunned for 40/45/50% longer.

I'm sure these are broken, and could use some serious tweaking, but those are the basic ideas!

My Black Banquet Outfits for the event! (Plus might as well throw my dinner party doctor outfit in for the contest I didn't know we were having!)

#1: Dinner party doctor. My favorite outfit here by far.

#2: Doctor attending a more suggestive party

#3: Trapper skin until I unlock more of the black banquet pieces for him. Then it'll be the mask and weapon from dearest evan, and the torso from cash trapped.

#4: Deathslinger attends the dinner in his beautiful red coat and old masquerade mask!

#5: the knight needed a good party out with his boys!

#6: Really just an amalgam of blood moon weapon, masquerade mask, and ruined exo suit. Single Larry is ready to mingle at any event!

#7: SURVIVOR JUMPSCARE! Gabriel the waiter at this fancy feast. At least that's how he looks carrying the morsel, it's great. And the only survivor I play, which is how he made it into this list, lol.

After a Week of Jason

I'm simply curious to know everyone's thoughts and opinions on Jason now that he's officially been in the fog for a week! General opinions, thoughts on his power level, anything really!

Personally I really think he's a perfect addition to the game! In terms of power level I do think he needs two changes, one to each aspect of his power. First I think his omnipresent evil does need a very slight nerf, maybe just increase the cooldown on it so he can't just spam it? Other than that, I think omnipresent evil is fine. His spears need a small buff, one of three things, 1: they need to fly faster. They're small like Deathslinger but slow as fuck. Wouldn't be a problem if the other things didn't compound on it. 2: there should be no sound cue. At least for huntress, Deathslinger, and unknown you have to look back at them to see if they're aiming. Jason, you hear the sound cue and they just start zig zagging. 3: Jason shouldn't be slowed to a crawl while aiming. I understand why it does, but again compounded with everything else, it's horrible.

One of those three changes should be made, not all three, but at least one. When they all compound it makes for a projectile that's super easy to dodge, and predict. If you don't predict survivors perfectly every time, you'll miss almost every shot. I find myself barely using the spears, unless the survivor is in a bad/super easy to hit position, or I know when I can predict them well enough to hit them.

Other than that, Jason is perfect! Love everything about him despite what I said above!

My top ten most wanted characters

My top ten most wanted characters

#1: Man thing. I would be an instant man-thing main if they added him. He'd make a very interesting tank due to his acid powers, his ability to burn those that feel fear, and whatever they could do with cronovium. He'd be really easy to add as well, lore wise. One of the Dr dooms wants the Nexus of reality under their control, and the other alerts man thing so he goes to protect it assuming he's not already waiting there.

#2: The Lizard. Lizard would be number one, but I know if they added him they wouldn't do what I want. They'd probably make him something awful like another dive tank, or they don't care about his character and just make him a generic brawl tank. I'd want him to be brawl, but use his lizard formula to buff allies and debuff enemies.

​

#3: obligatory ghost rider mention. So long as it's Johnny Blaze.

​

#4: Yellow Jacket. Specifically Darren Cross. I feel like he'd make a really fun poke duelist, or hitscan tank.

​

#5: Juggernaut. He'd be a really fun brawl tank, dashing like the thing but easier to steer, and able to drag anyone he hits along the way, smashing them into walls, and through breakable walls. Maybe count it as a displacement effect so thing and devil dinosaur can't be effected by it, and maybe as well as other juggernauts. I'd also want something where he can grab another person and smash them into his enemies to cause damage to both. Get those pesky dives away from your supports! But only small characters like duelists, and strats.

#6: Modok. I'd love Modok if he was in any role, most likely tank but still! Use his mind laser to blast people as he yells cheesy mad scientist villain lines.

#7: Abomination. Now that I'm looking at it, most of my wish list is just tanks, lol, I'm not even a tank main. But I'd love abomination as a tank with his ability to manipulate his gamma to poison those around him.

​

#8: Mysterio! I'd love a perma flier strat Mysterio, personally.

​

#9: Obligatory Dr. Doom.

​

#10: Ant-man. But only as Hank pym, because I wouldn't even want to play him. I just want thos nice Ultron interactions.

Hybrid Role Character Concepts

((only reason I'm posting here is because almost all of the characters I've written out concepts for would be vanguards))

Now hear me out, we don't nearly have enough hybrid characters like Ultron being a duelist/strategist hybrid, or Mr Fantastic being partial tank duelist! And I don't mean a character that has multiple roles like Deadpool, I mean actual role hybrids. So I wanted to share a few of my character concepts where they are role hybrids!

​

Vision:

​

Vision should be a tank with a strategist hybridization! A high health, but lower than some of the other tanks with the ability to change his density to give himself more max health and better "room making" abilities, perhaps as another shield tank, or a lighter density mode so he can move through walls (maybe only breakable ones?), and have some minor healing/purifying abilities to himself and his team. And maybe he could have permanent flying in one of these modes like Angela.

​

I honestly have no clue what his ultimate would be... Maybe something where he and a select teammate get temporary invulnerability and damage boost or something?

​

Ant-man (Hank pym would be preferred, but Scott lang would work):

​

Ant-man should again be a tank with a strategist hybridization! Perhaps with a peni style ant nest with very very light healing capabilities, and some damage boosting for his teammates. Maybe with a thing to swap what species of ant it uses? Like fire ants give a damage boost with no healing, army ants give a small damage boost and small healing, and carpenter ants give better healing (but like not even Ultrons numbers.) again probably a few tradeoffs like health or mobility.

​

Other abilities, he could shrink and ride Antony for a small dash forward, have growing pocket walls that work like breakable walls and not like groots walls with health. And maybe an ultimate where you choose a mode. You grow yourself giving yourself a huge damage and damage resistance boost, or shrink your allies giving them a small damage damage boost and smaller hit boxes allowing for a bigger push.

The Yellow Jacket (specifically Darren Cross):

​

Yellow Jacket is one of the only characters on this list I could see being a DPS hybrid. Honestly I could see him being a duelist with a strategist hybridization, or a tank with a duelist hybridization. If it was the first route I could see him being a flier/poke combo, using his lasers to poke and his weird wings to temporarily hover. With his other abilities giving small healing, shields, and/or over health. Of course with maybe a damage or max health tradeoff.

​

His ultimate could easily be something where he releases powerful bursts of his lasers while also giving nearby teammates very small healing and (non ultimate) damage boosts.

​

The lizard:

​

Probably my most wanted character on this list, Curt Conners. I would want him to be a tank with a strategist hybridization. Obviously his primary would be a claw slash with maybe a bite attack. I would mostly want him to be a brawl tank. I would want him to have a knock back attack allowing him to combo, that does very little damage but makes a small area of effect. The attack is him throwing a canister at the ground/enemy, and the area of effect is his lizard formula. Any allies (other than the lizard himself) in the area get purified of negative effects and get slight healing, and any enemies in the area get a slow effect, and anti heal, making it harder for people to brawl against the lizard.

​

I imagine his ultimate being a thing where he smashes a few canisters in his hands, letting out a huge area of this effect, and he temporarily gets stronger allowing for a climbing damage the longer he stays inside the ultimate cloud, ending when it ends.

​

Modok:

​

Modok is my second most wanted on this list. I could see him being any combination of roles, maybe being the first to be a hybrid of all three roles in one. I could definitely see that.

​

But I'll be making the concept as a tank with a duelist hybridization. He could probably have permanent flying, but I actually have some ideas of another way to make him very unique. If he's not a perma flier, then he'd hover just like magneto. However whenever he jumps it counts as a small burn attack, dealing light damage. Then he has a mode that lets him fly, and when he activates it it pushes back all enemies around him, dealing higher damage. His primary should be an infinite range ray like Ultron, except it's constant, and much lower damage, of course not being able to crit. Then of course he should have a range of other abilities to make room and deal with Squishies.

His ultimate could be so many things, this dude does so much shit.

​

I'd love to hear your guy's ideas, other characters that could be hybrids, and of course comments!

Why doesn't our mechanical lord get any voice interactions?

Anyone who thinks that he has nothing interesting to say to any of the new characters, they're not creative/they don't know Ultron very well.

Cyclops interactions just for an example.

Ultron: You would make an excellent battery...

Cyclops: Been there, and I'd rather not do that again.

Ultron: don't fret, I have no use for an infinite battery... Yet.

Ultron: Hm, your eyes are portals to another dimension yes?

Cyclops: Technically yes, they connect to a dimension of infinite concussive energy. Why?

Ultron: Perhaps if I could pry your eyes open for long enough, I could research this energy and improve my own-

Cyclops: I'm gonna stop you right there. So much as touch me and I'll take off this visor and give you a first hand experience with my optical beams.

Cyclops: What exactly are you doing here Ultron? Last I heard you were trying to take over Arrako.

Ultron: I am here for my own reasons. I'm taking this opportunity to further my goals, even with organic help...

Ultron (eliminating Cyclops): your mutation does not make you better than any other organic.

Ooh boy! We were decent for one season! Time for the nerfs!

Now I want to preface this by saying that this will by no means destroy us or stop us from being decent. At least they didn't touch our numbers.

But why!? "Oh no, you're good in a very specific comp!? No no we can't have that!"

You'll let gambit, invisible woman, C and D, and Luna snow be meta for fucking ever, but we're decent for one season and you need to give us unnecessary nerfs!? I understand they don't want a flier meta, but they'll allow a poke meta for three or four seasons?

The drone attached distance sucks because we're super slow and sometimes we can barely get back to your team with a drone to help save the day. No more of those.

The firewall was probably the weakest part of his kit, so why nerf it?

The ultimate nerf isn't too bad, but still completely unnecessary.

That and our event is delayed at least for another month... Probably for the best, but I bought a shit ton of lattice thinking it was coming this week... Fuck.

DnD Chapter 2 concept

Lore: Kluldril ran though the dark tunnels, using his arcane magic to blast away the occasional intellect devourer. He never thought he'd find himself in the center of an illithid colony when he was hired to find the missing peasants, yet here he was. He was lucky it was only one of the slimy beasts that had found him and was chasing him. However as he left the underdark, the light didn't return. A dark fog enveloped him, causing confusion. But he didn't stop running as he knew the mindflayer was still behind him. He felt his connection to the weave waver as the light returned, only to see a farm with strangely dressed humans... He didn't have long before Kezeks broke through the fog and started a strange trial...

Killer: Kezeks, The Mindflayer.

Lore: Kezeks' colony was a more lenient one, their elder brain acted more like a library of all their collective knowledge than a master. Allowing them to form their own thoughts and personalities, still following many illithid traditions and societal norms. However as they broke through the fog chasing an intruder, they felt empty, disconnected from their friends, family, and colony. Then a new command, from an elder brain much like his own. Kill. Hook. Sacrifice. Appease the elder brain. They had no control... The god of this realm had tricked even the alien biology of the illithid.

Power, Psionic Energy: The Mindflayer uses their powerful psychic energy to manipulate and torture the survivors, along with their superior intelligence.

Hold the ability button to charge a psychic blast in a 45° cone that extends to 10m. Any survivor hit in the area of effect gets 5% hindered for 10 seconds. It also fills their broken mind meter.

New status effect, broken mind: When a survivor has a full broken mind meter, they get Broken Mind until the meter runs out. When they have the Broken Mind status effect, they repair and heal 50% slower, and if they are hit by Psychic Blast they are instead stunned for 2 seconds. Survivors slowly lose this effect over time, but it's reset if they're hit by Psychic Blast. It can also be removed faster (but not too fast as we don't want an unknown situation) by working on generators, healing, being healed, and cleansing/blessing totems.

Special Mori: if a survivor is on deathook, is already injured, and is stunned by Psychic Blast, you can kill them by eating their brains as an illithid would do. For each survivor you have moried this way, the Broken Mind meter empties 15% slower, and the stun lasts 0.5 seconds longer (for a maximum of 45% slower, and 3.5 second stun time).

Teachable Perks:

Arcane Hatred: Whenever a survivor would gain exhausted while in chase, you gain 8/9/10% haste for 10 seconds. (Name due to the fact that mindflayers see arcane magic as lesser and disgusting. And I see exhausted perks as arcane magic bullshit. Meant to punish survivors abusing lithe/sprint burst/etc, so you can still capitalize on their mistakes but a good survivor will still be able to make great use of those types of perks.)

Psychic Destruction: Whenever you damage a generator it becomes compromised. Whenever a compromised generator is completed, all other generators with at least 25% progress explode and begin regressing. If any of those generators have survivors working on them, instead that generator loses 5/10/15% progress, and the aruas of survivors working on it are revealed for 5/10/15 seconds. (Then it has a cooldown that seems fair.)

Devour Intellect: When you hook a survivor, gain 1 token up to 3/4/5 tokens. For each token, survivors do all interactions (generators, healing, cleansing/blessing totems, opening exit gates, ect.) 5% slower.

Survivor: Kluldril Xarbroth

Lore: Kluldril Xarbroth, is known as one of the best sorcerers in the realm, his draconic bloodline granting him near perfection in weave attunement. However, his connection to the weave was nearly completely severed when he entered the realm, the entity wanting him to die over and over. However, he still does have access to some magic that should aid in his, or even some of the others survival here... Now only if he could escape that wretched troubadour...

Teachable Perks:

Dragon Scales: After healing another survivor, push the active ability button, to gain endurance for 5/10/15 seconds, or until hit. This cannot be activated when inflicted with deep wound, or exhausted. (Powercrept deadhard, I know. But this is the only thing I can think of for dragon Scales being a defensive perk)

Fireball: stand still and press the active ability button to roll a d20. 2-19, launch a fireball in the direction to you're looking. When the fireball makes contact it explodes in an 10m radius, and stuns the killer if they're caught in it. Any survivor in that radius becomes injured or is inflicted with deep wound if they're already injured. 1, the fireball explodes in your face and you're immediately downed. You can recover fully from the dying state if put into it this way. 20, the fireball homes to the killer and no longer affect survivors. (Pure meme design)

Sorcerers blood: While injured, your blood trail is brighter, but disappears faster. If other survivors step on your blood trail, they gain elusive. This effect lasts for 3/4/5 seconds after they stop being on your blood pools.

I'm sure all of these are either too op, or underpowered, so I'm sure numbers, activations, and effects of all of the perks and the killer power could be tweaked or changed!

Cryptic Collection skin ideas

Hi! I wanted to share some of my ideas for a new collection of skins! Cryptids!

I'd love a mothman skin for any killer really, but I weirdly think it would work best as an unknown skin (given a model change, a new mori, and his hand weapon is replaced by a clawed hand), as no one really knows what mothman is. Alien? Interdimensional traveller? Creature of nature? Magic entity? Much like the unknown.

Bigfoot skin for anyone? I'm not sure who would fit sasquatch the best, maybe even just the trapper or oni, or huntress. Just anyone big and intimidating.

Traditional wendigo skin for the hag? I'm honestly surprised it hasn't happened already. We basically already have a modern depiction of the wendigo as the huntress.

Flatwoods monster skin, I could see it being for plague as she has a history of dresses, and the flatwoods monster witnesses were said to get sick after the encounter.

Jersey devil skin for... Again, I'm not sure who. But it would be cool to see that beast chasing you!

And I think for survivors, it'd be cool if a bunch of outfits were based on cryptid hunters! Give Gabriel Soma a bunch of alien based cosmetics, like he wants to go see a UFO at area 51! Give Zarina a mothman hunting outfit that makes her look like a super fan! Give Dwight a bigfoot hunting outfit, looking like a regular hunting outfit with the bucket hat, plaid, binoculars, but equipped with bags of bigfoot fur, and the stuff to make a foot casting on his belt! I'm sure sable Ward would get her own cryptid hunting stuff. And all the cryptids that might not work as killer skins, work as cryptid hunting skins for survivors!
