Shot with small home setup:
-Sony a6600 + 18-135 Kit lens
-One continuous light (on the right) - NEEWER CB60B 70W
-For diffusion I used parchment paper (I have proper diffuser, but I used it as reflector on the left side)
This is the only composition that I like from the shoot, for different reasons (on later ones the pasta was too dry already and some other ones looked too "studio like".
Food was cooked by me.
A few days ago, I asked here for recommendations on what to see in Trieste. Now I'm back with some photos, and I'd like to share a few of them with you as a thank you.
Many of them still need color grading (e.g. Miramare, San Giusto, etc.), but I already have a few that I can share.
I hope you like them! If you'd like to see more photos from this trip once I've finished editing them all, you can follow me on IG: ttoma.photography
The city is truly beautiful and has more than enough to keep you busy for a whole day. Thanks again to everyone who helped make my day there even more enjoyable! :)
Tomorrow I'm going to Trieste for the first time on a spontaneous day trip. I'm wondering if there's enough to see in Trieste to fill about 7 hours.
Do you have any recommendations on how to make the most of those 7 hours in Trieste?
Vlak 6-8h do Kopra?
Z Prevozi.org nebi šal ker me pogovor z voznikom velikokrat utrudi, še preden pridem do destinacije. Včasih mi je, ampak večinoma se mi ni za pogovarjat z neznancem 1 uro in pol.
Še obstajajo kakšne druge opcije? Kakšen drug avtobusni prevoz?
Two years ago, I started experiencing unexplained pain in my stomach area, but after a few months it went away. About a month and a half ago, the pain returned, this time a bit stronger.
I went to my doctor, and she sent me for various tests (blood, urine, and stool), but all the results came back normal, so she wasn't sure what was causing the problem. After that, she referred me for a colonoscopy. However, I felt that a colonoscopy probably wouldn't explain the issues I was having in my upper stomach area, so I asked her to refer me for a gastroscopy as well.
During the gastroscopy, they found a small hernia, and my stomach lining was inflamed. I was prescribed medication for reflux for two months, but I still have symptoms. It doesn't hurt all the time, but there is a constant unpleasant sensation, and if I bend over to tie my shoes or do something similar, it hurts.
I asked both my doctor and the specialist who performed the gastroscopy whether this could be fixed somehow or if surgery was an option. They both told me that surgery is not necessary for such a small hernia and that I should manage it through appropriate lifestyle changes.
The problem is that I'm only 32 and hopefully still have my whole life ahead of me. I can't imagine not being able to work out properly, lift weights, and eat the foods I enjoy for the rest of my life.
I've read here that even people with very small hernias have undergone surgery and are feeling much better afterward. So why wouldn't my doctors recommend surgery for me while I'm still relatively young? I would assume that the recovery process would be easier and faster at my age.
I just tested another camera app from the Play Store, and I was amazed at how well the focus works in it. You can get very close to subjects too, which for some reason is impossible with Samsung's Camera app. It also focuses on subjects very quickly.
What's funny is that if I try to focus on a subject in the Camera app, it doesn't work. But if I switch to that third-party app and focus there, then switch back to the Camera app, suddenly it's in focus there as well.
Does anyone else know of any other apps that work better than Samsung's? The app I'm currently testing is MotionCam Pro, which is primarily made for video capturing, but it also has photo mode.
I'm on Samsung Galaxy S25.
Besides PC, Xbox360 and Playstation 3 emulation?
Is there a way to update leaked portable version of the game with new patch?
I wonder what kind of setups you guys use to keep your phones cool while playing more graphically demanding games.
I tried looking for a phone controller with a built-in cooler, but I only found one, and it seems to have pretty bad reviews (the fan apparently stops working fairly quickly).
Then I thought about buying a clamp for my DualSense controller, but like most mobile controllers, it doesn't leave enough space to attach a cooler to the back of the phone. I also looked at some phone stands, but ran into the same problem.
So what setup could I use to play games on my phone with a controller while also keeping the phone cool?
Love hoarding games and using them on my trips.
