CapCut is free and good, so why does posting consistently still take me all weekend?
genuine question because I think I've been blaming the wrong thing. capcut is free, it does captions, the cuts are fine. by every measure the editing part is solved. and yet getting four videos out still eats my entire saturday.
sat down and worked out where the time actually goes and editing was maybe a third of it. the rest is setting up to film, redoing takes because I fumbled a line, getting the lighting to match the last one so the set doesn't look different, then resizing and reuploading for each platform. capcut doesn't touch any of that. it fixed the one part that was already fixable.
the only thing I've seen that goes after the filming half is the AI avatar stuff (seen a lot of posts talking about it here lately), which is what I am working on right now, I went with Argil and I'm honestly still unsure about it for anything where being on camera is the whole point. so I'm not really recommending it, more just noting it's the only thing aimed at the actual bottleneck.
so how are you lot doing it? is everyone batching a month of filming in one day, or have you found something that cuts the setup and retakes down? because honestly it's not the editing that's killing me.
