juicy marbles!

Sometimes you just want two slabs and some packet potatoes and peas.

The salmon is so realistic in its flavor that I struggle to eat it even though it is good and I know it is not fish lol. The tenderloin cuts are a classic. My fav chicken is Swap brand but it would be cool to see juicy marbles try their hand at that eventually.

What to buy before baby arrives?

Hey!

I plan to either exclusively formula feed or combo feed.

My question is: how much formula should I buy before she arrives? I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I'm afraid I'm under-prepared regarding feeding! In all of my classes, they have glossed over formula entirely and had no helpful information unfortunately. Any advice is appreciated, as I want to make sure I have all of what I need before she's here.

I have a countertop bottle washer, and I have a Babybrezza formula dispenser and a Momcozy formula dispenser that were gifted to me. Anything else? How much formula did you have beforehand? Or did you wait to see what the hospital supplied you with?

Thanks!

Is it safe to view a report on ANY.RUN?

Hey!

Just curious about a (definitely malicious) link I clicked and downloaded a file from about a month ago. I never ran it and I did a fresh USB Windows install/reformat just to be safe. I've still been wondering about that link and the contents of the download and when I search the link, I see an any[.]run report link for it and was wondering if it's safe for me to view that link? Says Malware Analysis and includes the suspicious link in the title. I don't know how sandboxes work for malware analysis and don't want to wreck my stuff again if I choose to view this report on anyrun. Any insight is appreciated on how that works.

Thanks!

Cats & Newborns - Sleep

Hello!

Would like to gather information regarding cats not being closed out of parents' bedroom with newborn sleeping in bassinet in the same room.

Just trying to figure out this approach for the safety of the baby and the happiness and health of cats who are 6+ years into being in the same room.

Thanks.

It's still temping?

Went in around 11am today, didn't see there was no cheese until we got to the end of the line, obviously. Asked the worker if there was any, she said they can't put it out yet because it's "still temping". Don't the workers arrive at like 8am to start food prep and stuff? Is there something I'm missing about why cheese isn't ready or isn't already food-safe temp when the store is open first thing? Genuinely just super confused, and she wasn't nice about it either.

one and done before the first is even here :)

I'm 32 weeks pregnant with my first and we have been decided on being one and done for a while now.

I just wanted to say that I really appreciate all of you that are here and all of your posts - I'm happy this community exists because I have already gotten so much pushback while being pregnant over this choice when it somehow comes up, and that has made me no less confident in what we want, but definitely frustrated that others can't just worry about themselves.

People have casually asked me about or mentioned my next one, even though the first kid isn't even out of the womb yet.

If I try to say that we only want one in response, I am met with "you don't know that", "no you'll change your mind" and "never say never" or questionings that I do not care to respond to.

So thanks for being here!

OneUI, ColorOS, or OriginOS?

Current S23 Ultra user here!

Wondering what your favorite phone OS is between these three. I am looking at either staying with Samsung, moving to Oppo x9 Ultra, or the Vivo x300 Ultra.

I care a lot about camera quality and don't mind manually adjusting things vs relying on auto point and shoot. I don't like AI, but understand every single phone will integrate it to some degree. For the OS, I just want a smooth experience and customizability is a bonus.

If anyone has a good comparison between these three from an OS perspective I'd really appreciate it!

OneUI vs ColorOS?

Hello!

I am a US based S23 Ultra user currently and am trying to decide between staying with the S23 for now, going with the Oppo x9 Ultra, the Vivo x300 Ultra, or something else.

I like the gestures in OneUI with the S23 Ultra, but I'm wondering if anyone has any comparisons for the OS between the two phones, which you prefer, and why. I just want a pretty seamless UI experience, minimal AI integration, a great camera, and overall on par functionality.

Thanks!

I need guidance on procedure for a fresh Windows reinstall after potential malware please!

Hello!

Background info:

I understand many parts of a PC but deleting and reinstalling a new Windows OS is not one of them.

I was not thinking a few days ago when expecting correspondance from a trusted email, so once I got an email from their address, I clicked a link in the email which led to me stupidly downloading a suspected malicious file from an Acrobat spoof website. I am aware this was dumb, but I had been frustrated and they usually send me files via links due to their sensitive nature. I am generally very good about this otherwise.

Not sure if I granted Windows any permissions before the download happened as that part is a blur at this point and I've scrambled my brain too much the last 48hrs, but I know I never executed the .msi file because as soon as I saw it in my downloads as a Screenconnect Connectwise msi file, I deleted it. Ran Malwarebytes, Windows Defender on and offline, Bitdefender, and Hitman Pro and nothing came back as a red flag, but I know infostealers, some rootkits, and fileless malware exist and can go undetected.

Currently:

With that being said, I didn't know if anything malicious could be executed just from clicking the bad link or downloading the file without me double click executing it, so I want to do a complete fresh install of Windows 11 and wipe/reformat my 4 NVME SSDs to be safe. I also plan to flash my BIOS since it hasn't been done in a long time and has some useful updates.

I am not sure how to approach this as I'm still confused by the Microsoft page for fresh installs.

Once I have what I need on my USB for a Windows install (Media Creation Tool?) and I go through the motions to set that up on the USB, what do I do next on my potentially infected PC?

Do I delete and reformat partitions before or after I plug in this clean USB to the potentially infected PC? I just want to make sure there isn't a way in which I mess this up where I could infect my new install if my other drives aren't deleted and reformatted. Do I flash my bios before reinstalling a fresh Windows? How do I delete my old Windows? Basically I'm confused by the order of events/what I need to do and would like clarification.

Thanks!

Where to buy Vivo, Oppo, or Xiaomi phones for US purchaser?

Hey!

Wondering where you US based redditors purchase the phones that are unavailable directly in the US. Looking into the Vivo X300 Ultra currently from my S23 Ultra. Also, Verizon stability or T-Mobile? Thanks!

What steps do I need to take?

Hey everyone,

I managed to do a stupid thing in a rush and click on a "file-reader(dot)taildragger(dot)org" link from a generally trusted email contact on my phone and PC. I am aware of how dumb this was as I'm generally great at avoiding these things, but a situation occured where I wasn't paying attention and thought these were somehow legitimate.

This site was posing as an Adobe Reader site I guess, I opened it on my phone but don't recall a download occuring but I am concerned about the security of my Android phone now.

When clicking on my PC, it auto downloaded into my files. I did not execute the file but I don't know if the website got things rolling vs the installer needing to be executed.

On my PC, a Screenshare Connectwise (I think it was a .msi file) appeared in my downloads. I immediately noticed this was wrong when the autodownload started and deleted the file as soon as possible.

I ran Windows Defender online and offline, but I also read an article that some malware like this can run starting from browser access. I need to know what steps I should take on my phone and PC to be sure something is not happening without my knowledge.

Article explaining what I think might've been the attack, but obviously not certain: https://cybersecuritynews.com/fake-adobe-reader-download-delivers-screenconnect/

Please help, this is the dumbest thing I've done since I was 12.

06.01.2025 - the most magical day with my favorite person!

We recently celebrated our one year wedding anniversary and I am still so over the moon every time I look at our pictures! Everything came together so beautifully - I truly couldn't have asked for anything else because it was genuinely perfect.

We had a smaller ~38 person wedding and got to spend the weekend at the venue with some family and friends which was incredibly special to us. It felt so relaxed and I surprisingly felt no stress; even on the day of. I wouldn't have done a single thing differently :)

Each tier of our cake was a different flavor combo and it was so delicious! Our favors were just cookies and people loved them. As for our reception: we basically just had a mini dinner party at our venue. We didn't do a dance floor or DJ, but we had a harpist playing and it was so wonderful! The food itself - that was some of the best food I've ever had and they did such a great job catering to dietary needs. I dream of my wedding pesto and mashed potatoes lol.

For a while I thought I was just going to wear an all black dress on my wedding day, but finally the time came where I went into some bridal shops to actually try some white dresses on as well as an all black dress. The black dress just felt like normal attire for me, but all white wasn't my style either. So, after a bunch of thought, I ended up doing what I had always wished to do, which was commission a dress from Firefly Path and it was absolutely the right decision for me! I am so happy with how it turned out and I had kept Firefly Path in my mind for at least 10 years in hopes that one day I would be able to wear my wedding dress from there.

Overall, I'm so happy we stayed true to the kind of aesthetic we love and I'm glad we chose the colors we did for the day. Every decision made was for us alone, and in turn we had the best day possible.

All of the vendors involved did such an incredible job creating what we had envisioned and made the leadup and the day itself absolutely magical. I hope these photos encourage someone to do what they love entirely for their wedding - make the bold decision! It's so worth it.

With all of that being said, I just wanted to share some photos from our day and these are just a few of my favorites.
