Has anyone here consulted Dr. Ravi Prakash or Dr. Prerna Maheshwari in Bangalore?

I've been seeing a psychiatrist recently for anxiety and possible ADHD, and over the past few weeks I've consulted both Dr. Ravi Prakash and Dr. Prerna Maheshwari for a second opinion.

Both seemed knowledgeable, but they had slightly different approaches, so I'm trying to decide who to continue my treatment with.

If anyone here has been treated by either of them, I'd love to hear about your experience. How were they during follow-ups? Did you feel they really listened? Were they good with adult ADHD and anxiety? How was your experience with medication changes and overall treatment?

Thanks in advance!

A week away made me appreciate Bengaluru a lot more

I went back to Kolkata for a week, expecting to miss family and food. Instead, the thing I found myself missing most was... Bengaluru's weather.

That probably sounds silly, but living here has changed what "comfortable" feels like. Being able to go outside without immediately feeling sticky and exhausted genuinely improves day-to-day life.

I don't think I realized how much climate affects quality of life until I experienced the contrast again.

Curious if anyone else who moved here feels the same, or if you've had the opposite experience.

Escitalopram helping anxiety but making me extremely fatigued? Anyone with ADHD/anxiety experienced this?

28M here. I've had lifelong issues with procrastination, focusing, only being able to study or work under deadlines, and difficulty getting started on mentally demanding tasks. My psychiatrist feels ADHD is still a possibility but wanted to treat my anxiety first before considering ADHD medication.

I've been on Escitalopram (Lexapro) 10 mg for the past few weeks. My anxiety is definitely better than before, and my sleep has improved. I'm also taking Clonazepam 0.25 mg at night for a short period.

The problem is the fatigue. I sleep 8–9 hours but wake up feeling completely unrefreshed. I stay sleepy throughout the day and it feels like I could go back to bed at any time. I know I have work to do, but I struggle to even get started because I feel exhausted. Coffee doesn't seem to help either in fact, sometimes I feel even sleepier after it.

Before Lexapro, I had attention and procrastination issues for years, but I didn't have this constant daytime sleepiness. I used to rely on a lot of coffee and Celsius to get through work.

Has anyone here with ADHD + anxiety experienced something similar? Did the fatigue improve with time, or did it turn out to be the medication? How did your psychiatrist differentiate between medication side effects, anxiety, and ADHD?

28 [M4F] | Bengaluru | Looking to build something real

Hi! I'm 28, originally from Kolkata and currently working as a software engineer in Bengaluru.

The last few years have been a bit of an adventure living in different cities, moving to the US for my master's, and eventually finding my way back to India. Constantly starting over has been exciting, but it also made me realize how much I value having someone to share life with, not just the big milestones but the ordinary days as well.

Outside work, I enjoy reading, photography, visiting museums, making tea, experimenting with chicken recipes, sketching, and occasionally disappearing down rabbit holes about history and geopolitics. I'm generally more comfortable with quiet cafés and long conversations than loud parties.

I'm looking for someone around 24–30 who's kind, emotionally mature, curious about the world, and interested in building a long-term relationship. I'm not looking for hookups or situationships.

I don't expect instant chemistry, but I do appreciate genuine conversations. If we get along, I'd much rather meet for coffee, wander through a bookstore or museum, or explore a new part of the city than spend weeks texting.

Switched full time to Firefox on my Mac

Finally uninstalled Chrome yesterday after they quietly stripped out the ad privacy settings in version 150. Moving away from the Chromium ecosystem entirely feels long overdue.

Got it set up with Enhanced Tracking Protection on Strict and uBlock Origin running at full capacity without Manifest V3 restrictions. Performance has been smooth so far.

For anyone else who recently dumped Chrome for Firefox on macOS, what specific tweaks or about:config changes are actually worth making to optimize privacy and resource usage without breaking mainstream sites?

Google Chrome Ad Privacy settings Version 150

Google Chrome removed its ad privacy settings in version 150 and it’s not even mentioned in the release notes.

Anyone know how to get it back? Thanks in advance

Anyone else feel exhausted all the time on Lexapro?

I've been taking Lexapro (Escitalopram) 10 mg for a few weeks now. The good part is that my anxiety is definitely better than it was before. I feel calmer overall and my sleep has improved.

What I'm struggling with is the fatigue. Even after sleeping 8–9 hours, I wake up feeling like I haven't slept at all. I stay sleepy throughout the day, and honestly it feels like I could go back to bed at any time. It's making it really hard to get started with work or anything productive because I just don't have the energy.

Today I even had a cup of coffee hoping it would wake me up, but somehow I ended up feeling even sleepier afterward, which was really odd.

I'm trying to figure out whether this is something that gets better with time, whether it's the medication, or whether it's just the depression itself. Has anyone else gone through something similar? How long did it last for you?

Just wanted to share a thought or question

I’m wondering why so many people stick with Chrome? Google’s main money comes from ads, especially Google Ads. We know our data might be sold and used, there’s no privacy, everything. is out in the open. It’s a bit surprising that so many people choose Chrome, even with all that.

Also, the compatibility issue doesn’t quite add up. I use Firefox every day and work as a developer, and I’ve never had a website crash.

Safari vs Chrome on my Mac: Speedometer 3.1 results

I ran Speedometer 3.1 on the same Mac with both browsers (fresh run, same machine).

  • Safari: 26.3
  • Google Chrome: 41.6

That's roughly a 58% higher score for Chrome in this benchmark.

I know synthetic benchmarks don't always reflect real-world usage, and Safari is generally more battery efficient. I was just surprised to see Chrome outperform it by this much on Apple hardware.

Has anyone else seen similar results recently? If so, what Mac are you using (Intel vs Apple Silicon), and does it match your day-to-day experience?

Kept these 4

After everyone's suggestions kept only these 4.

Please don't tell to remove Adaptive Tab Bar Color; I like it so much.

Such a beautiful nursery tucked away in Kodihalli

Growing up, I always saw my mom grow plants on our rooftop, so I've always had a soft spot for nurseries.

I stumbled upon this beautiful one in Kodihalli today and honestly didn't expect to find such a peaceful little place in the middle of the city. It has everything from flowering plants to herbs and decorative plants, and it's surprisingly calming to just walk around.

If you're into gardening or simply enjoy green spaces, it's definitely worth a visit.

The FIFA Widget is still missing. Did all the things recommended.

>Try restarting once or even twice. If you do that, you should have the Widgets in the Customization Panel (pencil at bottom right) and in about:preferences.

>You should be able to get it back if you enable browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.widgets.system.sportsWidget.enabled in about:config.

Thanks in advance.
