Anyone want to play "Guess What I'm About to Make"?

MODS: Please delete if not allowed.

This is a game me and my chefs used to play. So if allowed, guess what I'm about to make!

IdentoGo fingerprint turn around time

For anyone that has used IdentoGo for fingerprinting, how long did it take to get your clearance? I was told about 14 days but it's been almost a month since I took mine and the status is still "Processing".

TIA!

Why are there so many pizza chain stores in New Jersey?

For an area and state like NJ that has so many amazing pizza places everywhere, why are there so many pizza chain stores (Dominos, Pizza Hut, Poppa Johns, etc.) here?

Do people just like crappy pizza or maybe it’s a pricing issue?

For such tiny dogs, how can they take up so much space?

For context, when the puppy slept with me and my wife, she slept perfectly in between us. She moved every once in a while, but for the most part, she didn’t move that much.

Unfortunately, my wife passed away a few months ago so it’s just me and the puppy in the bed now. At night, before bed, I’ll prep the blankets and pillow and then call in the pup in. She jumps on the bed, from the floor to the chest at the foot of bed and then from the chest to the bed. Immediately, she will sit right in front of me, rather than next to me. Then I’ll gently move her because I’m watching TV, reading or on the phone. And she’ll try to move back a few times before she settles.

She burrows under the blankets next to me. I’m also of a certain age, where I tend to wake up several times during the night to pee. And inevitably, I return to bed only to find she’s in my spot or in some other position in the center of the bed, so I gently move her to the side, ensuring her spine remains straight. Through the night, when I get out of bed, inevitably, I come back to the bad and she’s in my spot or the center of the bed.

Is mine the only one that does this?

Does anyone actually use/like the "Maintain media playback when vehicle is turned off" feature

I wasn't even aware you can turn the feature off until I looked it up tonight. First thing I'm doing tomorrow when I get in the car is turn the sucker off!

Last time I'm making lasagna with store-bought sheets

Why the hell does a box of lasagna sheets have about 15-20 sheets when you only need about 9, maybe 10??? It's like the hot dog to bun ratio joke!

Anyway, here's tonight's lasagna. First time making it in a hotel pan. Unfortunately, I cut it into it too soon so it's hard to see the layers.

Smart Fast Forward?

I don't believe Roku has it but just double checking. Does anyone know if Roku features Smart Fast Forward (SFF) and how to turn it on?

For those who don't know, SMM lets you automatically skip commercial breaks on recorded and on-demand programs.

TIA!

Trunk release stuck

So, all of the sudden, my trunk release lever in the cabin stopped working (Elantra SEL 2020).

Luckily I can still use the remote to open the trunk.

I'm not sure if it's the heat or just wear and tear. Before I bring the car in for service, I wanted to check in to see if anyone has experienced this issue and has any quick fixes. TIA!

Injections vs pills

I don't get it. I was on Wegovy injections for about two months (about two years ago) before my copay went from $25 per month to over $800 per month. As far as I remember, I had no adverse reactions to the injection. I just started on pills and as soon as I take it, I immediately get nauseous and extremely tired. WTF!!!

Anyone else?
