Name a store you and/or your family shopped at that doesn't exist anymore

I'm Gen Z, so here are a few that I can name: (I remember most of these, but some I have no memories of)

  • Toys R Us
  • Sears/Kmart (Although they technically still exist, almost all of their locations closed down; I included them together since they're owned by the same company)
  • Circuit City
  • CompUSA
  • RadioShack
  • Borders
  • Blockbuster
  • Hollywood Video
  • Sports Authority
  • Bed Bath & Beyond
  • Conn's (In case you don't know, Conn's was a regional chain that sold things like electronics, appliances, and furniture; they went out of business less than 2 years ago)
  • Joann Fabrics
  • Party City
  • Big Lots (Another regional retailer; a discount store chain that was like Walmart or Target, but everything was much cheaper; they also went out of business fairly recently)

I agree that Hoppers & Mario Galaxy aren't great, and that I hate that anything geared towards kids is expected to suck, but that doesn't mean there are still great children's films being made that can appeal to anyone like the Spider-Verse duology, Soul, The Mitchell's vs the Machines, Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, TMNT: Mutant Mayhem, Transformers One, The Wild Robot, Sonic 3, The Day the Earth Blew Up, KPop Demon Hunters and many more. We just need to look beyond the surface-level, mass-appeal slop that Disney & Illumination put out nowadays. (I know Soul is from Pixar, but it was never given a chance since it came out in the middle of COVID)

Not to mention that the fact she even had the audacity to bring up older movies that aren't seen as great makes Millennials & Gen Z look bad.

Favorite Movie:

-Lilo & Stitch -How to Train Your Dragon -either F1 or Project Hail Mary -Jurassic World: Rebirth -Superman -The Fantastic 4: First Steps -Wicked: For Good (Likely winner since the 1st film won last year) -Avatar: Fire & Ash

I considered The Mandalorian & Grogu given how much kids love Baby Yoda, but it depends on when the nominees will officially be announced.

Favorite Animated Movie

-KPop Demon Hunters (I'm predicting this will win & you probably know why) -Elio -The Bad Guys 2 -Zootopia 2 -The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants -GOAT -Hoppers -The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

I thought about predicting the recent Smurfs movie since it's a Paramount film, but nobody saw or liked it.

I also debated on predicting the acting categories, but I'm lazy. So if you have any predictions for those, put them in the comments.
