What do you want Mantic to release for this game system, i mean this in terms of rules changes updates, new models or factions, or even just new game modes as i know that's partially something i would look to in the distant future.

Getting a feel of the community and what they think of this game and want and like about it with this kind of post. i come primarily as a halo lover of the original bungie trilogy, and also both halo wars, even to an extent i don't mind infinite. But i have also in recent years took up modelling and painting primarily from the fact my dad and uncle used to do warhammer, so i eventually have picked it up too. Still new to it kind of and very bad in some aspects especially when it comes to the modelling part which i was kind of happy to see flashpoint didn't have much of it.

What i want going forward may be not what others want because i come from RTS games and also warhammer games. I'm a huge fan of the big battles of warhammer and RTS games when the armies collide and have small strategic actions to win leading me to hope for someday a bigger game format than the current 200 to 250 points, even if it is never the true focus. And other than that i would love more factions, i am a fan of the banished and their aesthetic but there is nothing as good to me as the aesthetic of the general covenant. I love banished hunters, look a bit scrappy and fitting for what they are, but there is just something so good and iconic about the smooth structures and armours of the covenant races. That and being who i am, zerg player, tyranid player, scrin player, the flood would be an amazing addition to me although i wouldn't even imagine the design difficulty of trying to implement it.

Aside from the actual game part, i want those old covenant style designed models if it could ever happen, a good elite ultra model for me would be so cool or even a councillor model. And the new reinforcements boxes answered something i wanted prior, really wanted to be killing grunts and jackals or even marines depending on what you are playing at the time, just adding a bit more depth and reality to these firefights.

So i'm just asking what kinds of things do you guys want to see from this game whether it is in the near future like hunters or small vehicles which i can imagine. Or in the distant future like larger vehicles and much larger battle or new factions. I would like to hear your opinions.

This is kind of a question, i played the halo games as a kid and especially had an affinity for halo 3 back in the split screen co op days, and also halo reach for its multiplayer. i am not the child i was back then enjoying games randomly but not understanding them, but i also had a big affinity for warhammer. This is largely due to my dad and uncle painting them when i was younger and me seeing them and still having some of those relics hanging around, but recently while waiting for a warhammer game to release i thought id play all the old halo games i missed so much, played all the major halo games including reach on heroic which was a challenge but a fun one. This brings me to my most favourite halo games from a child, Halo wars and Halo wars 2. So that is maybe why i am into warhammer building and painting my armies, my love for old school rts games and being a strategic commander.

Bringing my point for the post forward, i stumbled upon this halo flashpoint, still not really knowing what it is just now and saw that they are adding grunts and jackals soon which i am so happy about. i want to know kind of how old this game is, how often its getting updates and new models. When it comes to tabletop wargames im very much currently more a painter than a player, but i would still like to know how the gameplay is if many people are playing it.

So i asked in the 40k reddit because i was curious about how to play the game in a narrative way to really feel the game to game story happening and unfolding so im also curious of the same thing in aos, is there any official rules or guides or books similar to that of the 40k crusade kind stuff that helps you make your own narrative campaigns over several games.

Asked in the 40k reddit yesterday about narrative campaigns and someone linked me towards crusade, wanted to know what i can do narratively with crusade or if its even still a thing in 11th edition or if it was abandoned and theres some sort of alternative that everyone uses. Any help is most wanted thank you.

Dont know if this is the right reddit for it, wasnt sure if it should have been the warhammer 40k reddit or just this one but ill put it here since i think dawn of war 4 related stuff is allowed. I was looking at the rosters that factions have and its a decent amount but at the same time feels really small and really lacking, not sure if its just me but it feels like there is just a fraction of what some factions have included like the necrons. Having a triarch stalker but no triarch infantry, Or orks who have so many vehicles available on the table top from damage dealing vehicles to the iconic trukks and i see almost nothing.

Dunno if there is plans for dlc to add more or something but for now it looks kinda low in terms of the number of variations of troops you can have.

So been looking at all the factions i like in warhammer (its a bit list) and i wanted to ask what kind of models people like, whether its because of the rules or because of the looks or maybe even just the lore. I personally really like the Myphitic Blight Hauler, I dont know why but it looks cute and not super disgusting, maybe its the one small red eye. Always see one in a store in my town and always have to say no to picking him up. So what do you guys like and please tell me why you do.

So just wanted to know if the weapons or head options are tied to the rules in any way since I really like the more lizard looking head over the crocodile one and honestly I'm impartial to either weapon so mostly worried about the heads

Wanted to know what kind of list variety exists currently, i can give examples of what i was able to build for tyranids and how so i wanted to know what can happen with CSM as a whole and see what focuses or sub focuses exist. For tyranids i can make something like all harvester models + norn assimilators, a full warrior spam list with synaptic and warrior bioform, a full monster lists with crusher stampede and norn detatchement, a full vanguard list with lictor focus using the two lictor detatchments. Hopefully those examples helps you know what i mean by variety but yeah just something to add variety from game to game.

Just a quick question, when putting the drum together it had an indent in the bottom which was kind of ugly and showing the crack in it a lot, didnt know if what i did was bad but i just put a tiny bit of plastic glue on it, just enough to make a flat surface out of glue so that it will instead become a flat bottom.

So first of all i love the saurus warriors looks but i have one huge gripe, i hate putting together the warrior kit, it might just be me being bad at assembly as thats very viable, but both times ive tried to theres huge gaps inbetween the spines on the back from the two torso halves. This time since its not just the mini of the month now i tried to put glue there to cover the gap then made a mistake of trying to get the glue i accidently got on the main spike on his back off by rubbing it off but it had already started melting to the mini so ive spent so long carving the look of the spike back onto him lmao.

Dunno if its only me but ive had major issues building their torso

I dont know anything about the actual playing of the game yet but i wanted to know if theres a difference between spear and club? or if its just a pure aesthetic choice.

I was just checking in the 40k discord about if the horde mode gamemode made by poorhammer was updated to 11th and it made me think that many factions in age of sigmar would be really interesting in a similar format with many factions being able to be played as a horde and many being able to be played as otherwise. Was just wondering if anyone knows if there has been any attempts at making the horde mode format work for age of sigmar?

So I have questions. Some of this comes from trying new things like contrast and shades but I wanted to know if I can turn any of my colours into a contrast/shade by adding something. For the context of these questions I'm also using citadel paints for the time being. And also I was curious on how to use contrasts and shades. Every time I've used them they have came out looking ugly and I wasn't quite sure what I did wrong whether it was how I applied it or how much or in the thinning.

So i saw some really nice red scaled saurus online and i wanted to try have that as my colour scheme but after checking things im not allowed to post photos of someone elses work even if i link it to their social media or something or give their post link. So what i want is a red saurus, i found an image of red saurus on the warhammer community posts but i didnt want to use contrast (not very experienced in contrast and want to stay away from it for now) so wanted to know if someone has done red lizardmen and has tips or colours to use or if someone has somewhere to point me to find that advice like say a video or something, or a guide.

So I'm looking at finally deciding my colour scheme for my army. Decided I kinda if wanted a little variety between the different types of models. Trying to find a way to do so without it looking too much like a rainbow. I was looking into using neutral colours like white and brown when I saw the aggradon scar vet and checked the catnisaur scar vet and saw he wasn't white. So I wanted to know why is one white but not the other and what makes them white? And if old bloods or sun bloods are the same

Just a basic question wanting to see what can happen since I don't really know the lore much. What factions do you think are coming next and what is possible in the universe. Like what could be upcoming factions.

So ive been doing breeding now that i figured out i can breed leveled voidlings to pass on their leveled traits which i didnt know before, got some to like 20 is several slots but as soon as i tried to get 20 on all 5 traits then became random numbers. My assumption is that theres a max that i just dont know and reached therefore it mixed them up randomly but i dont really know

so this idea came to my mind because i had a video recommended on youtube of someone playing space marine 2 and it sadly had an ai generated thumbnail. Unfortunately i could only tell it was ai generated because it had a very small norn emmisary barely taller than the warriors around it. But regardless that one part made me think that a psychic prime could be really cool in design, having similar designs to that of the norn but at warrior scale and with a warrior body, thought it could be nice but maybe has lore issues i dont know, but regardless i found the idea cool.

Now that 11th is in full swing I wanted to ask and try to know what is fun and which detachment combos are being fun for this faction. Or even which disposition is fun for us as bugs.
