Lost Legions

Bit of a lore question for everyone because admittedly when it comes to Horus Heresy lore I don’t know much but I have researched the topic. To put it simply I’m making a homebrew Space Marine chapter that embodies or symbolises one of the two lost legions, essentially a chapter of Space Marines that wear no badge like a mass amount of Black Shields to put it simply. I’m just curious if we have any definitive answers as to what happened to both of the lost legions and Primarchs, I know one’s called The Purged and the other The Forgotten and not even the Primarchs remember but they must’ve had marines right?

Artillery units

So I’m hoping that with 11th edition and the changes to some of the rules and how they work that more of the cooler vehicle units like the Deathstrike, Wyvern and Manticore will start to see some play again but I’m curious if anyone’s actually looked at how they might run in 11th. I’m also curious cos I would genuinely like to run some more generic artillery units in DKOK besides just the Basilisk and the Artillery Team cos I just love the idea of Krieg doing what they do best (besides suicide charges) and just shelling the ever living life out of a target

Harlequins

Bit of a general question but given I posted yesterday I could use some more help. So as stated in my last post I’m thinking of getting into playing Eldar and got my hands on some Corsair kits, I’m just curious to see if they would work well with Harlequins and the like cos I honestly both how they look and how they play

Magnetising for beginners

So I want to magnetise a Shadowsword so that I can essentially turn it into stuff like a Doomhammer and a Stormsword by just swapping out the barrel (cos I’m indecisive about which I wanna run and the rules for all three are FUN!) but I’m new to magnetising and I’m not sure exactly where to start, so some tips and tricks or advice from people who’ve done it would really help cos I don’t wanna just buy three cos that’s gonna be expensive as hell

Leman Russ Tank

So I’m planning on making a DKOK army for use in 11th edition and I wanna run some Leman Russ Demolishers. I like the look of the HH version because it fits better thematically in my mind, my only question is if I’d have any issues using it as a proxy for a Demolisher, I know I probably couldn’t add the sponson weapons unless the HH version has those…any help would be appreciated

Tech-Priest WIP and Wargear

I need some help choosing which weapons to run for my Maniplus and my Dominus. To clarify the detachment I’m running is Haloscreed, the Maniplus is gonna be leading a squad of Kataphron Breachers with the Sanctified Ordnance enhancement and the Dominus is gonna be leading a squad of Hastarii Exterminators whilst running Cognitive Reinforcement

Huron/Garreon heads

I want some helmet suggestions and alternate head ideas for Huron Blackheart and Garreon the Corpsemaster. Yes I understand that lore wise Huron can’t wear a helmet but I think his face is just too damn goofy and Garreon looks like he’s getting a bit TOO much enjoyment from his job

Skratos viability

So I’m planning on making an army for the Haloscreed detachment (yes I know that detachments are gonna change and everything). I plan to run stuff like Hastarii, Kataphran, Kastelans and Ironstriders but I’m wondering if it’s worth it taking a Skratos or two. On their own I really like the design even if it’s a bit goofy (same with the Dominus which I’m also considering running) but I’ve heard their not all that good
