The 450 Rancher is a far more capable saw than people give it credit for.

I have cut multiple face cords of black locust and black walnut, Some of it 3 feet around. With a nice sharp chain it seems to perform quite well. Sure it’s not as fast as a a more powerful saw, but I’ve not felt like I *needed* more saw.

Is my rear suspension shot?

I didn’t think it would sag this much under the load that it’s got right now I expected it to be a little bit more rigid.

Ok. Inside of the door says 1725 combined weight.

I wish the health class I had in school had been as robust as the one my current school has.

I share a wall (a very thin wall) with the health teacher. They do a really really good job with that class. It’s robust and full of all the information you could ever want. The teacher doesn’t try to scare or guilt anyone into or out of anything but presents the very real risk of certain choices and how to prevent certain consequences. It’s a lot more informative in the biology/anatomy area than mine ever was.

Overall it’s just a great class. Mine in school was lackluster and wasn’t very informative.

Good on you health teacher, keep it up!

Middle split tailgate for a 1500

I saw a Ram the other day that had a tailgate that split in the middle and each side swung out. That seems very convenient when you have heavy stuff you need to get in and out of the bed.

Does anyone make something like that aftermarket for Chevy?

Why don’t people (sellers especially) understand what OBO actually means?

Look, nobody is going to get involved in a bidding war OVER your asking price.

OBO ALSO MEANS best offer *even if* it’s below what you’re asking. That’s the literal definition of “best offer.”

So if you’re unwilling to take offers below asking price **DON’T PUT OBO IN THE AD!**

What’s the difference between these two buttons?

I’ve never had a vehicle with both these buttons (the ones in red). What’s the difference?

It’s been figured out. Thanks!

Curious about the Yugo grenade launcher flip up.

I don’t have the Yugo variant of the sks but I’ve seen that they have a flip up grenade launcher sight.

My question is, when it flips up does it lock in place?

I’m curious because I was thinking about using one to make a sort of flip up iron sight backup to an optic.

Now I understand why they are late all the time. They walk slower than my dead grandmother.

I don’t know if it’s the fact that they’re all just wearing slides and it’s hard to walk efficiently in slides or if it’s intentional or if they just never learned to walk with a purpose.

It’s really quite fascinating to see!

Yes 5.56 is about as good as it gets and ARs are the platform for it.

But in this state they can be annoying to own. So how many of you rock a semi-auto that isn’t an AR?
- what is it and what caliber is it in?

First, the cupholders are small and too close together. They should be enlarged in diameter and spread further apart. Get rid of that square in the top left-hand corner and make that whole front big cupholders far apart from each other.

Second, without adding additional cupholders to the center at floor level, having it so that you have to take the drinks out in order to open the seat and have to rely on the cupholders in your door seems to be designed by somebody who’s never actually had to use a cupholder or middle seat before. Ford already had this figured out by putting a pullout tray underneath your center console with cupholders in it at floor level in the middle.

Third, that top middle pocket is too shallow and too slick to actually hold anything without sliding around.

I will say it’s nice that the large interior once you lift the top on this can fit a lot of things, but that’s about all this configuration has going for it in my opinion

It seems like every other post is a post about how some critter got into an unsecured or poorly built coop or how another critter ate a free range chicken or how someone is afraid of predators from above so they try to scare them away using other birds….

And yet whenever it suggested that it’s generally more effective to properly secure your chickens people seem to get really angry about that.

Why would people get genuinely angry about the most effective solution for keeping your chickens safe? Because honestly, if you’re chicken gets got, that’s not the fault of nature were the predators living in the area. That’s your fault for not securing your chickens properly.

A state mandated core class *at the new teacher salary and benefits package* in your building, for two years. Basically 2 on 2 off. And you need to maintain your certification to do so.

While teaching they don’t have any more authority to do anything than the average teacher in their building.

I came from an F150 with the same garage door opener, and it never even got close to tearing the headliner on the F150. That’s pretty disappointing build quality from Chevy.
