Possibility of all of our Detachments and Dispositions changing with the new Codex?

With our new Codex on the horizon, do you think that all our current Detachments and their Dispositions will completely change into something new? Or will they keep the ones we currently have with more changes to their Dispositions 🤔? Just curious what people think and if it will affect your army.

White Scars in Echo's of Eternity.

I am reading the Siege of Terra books again to pass time and while brief, in this book, the White Scars still have imo, one of the greatest moments during the Siege:

The central hololithic table powered up again, projecting the stern image of a Legion Warrior wearing the white of Jaghatai Khan's White Scars. His revolving image painted every upturned face a flickering blue.

"I am Shibhan Khan of the Fifth Legion, honoured to currently hold the mantle of regent-commander of the Lion’s Gate space port. I address this message to the fleet of treasonous dogs laying claim to the skies of Terra. You will find Lion’s Gate’s surface-to-orbit defences are once again operational. Message ends.’

The hololith vanished. He was gone. Lotara almost laughed; Blood of the Emperor, but she admired his attitude.

Coteaz/Inquisitor Bodyguard Question.

Just wanted to clarify. But in 11th Edition, if I take Coteaz as an Ally for my Space Marine Army, he is able to join any of the SM Battleline units still? Appreciate the feedback as he does seem like a good choice with his CP ability.

Mawtribe Models for Ogre Kingdoms.

Apologies if this has been asked already. But after taking a break to focus on other things, I have the itch to jump back into Old World and I was just curious if the new Mawtribes models would work for Old World. And if so, how do they all compare to the older Ogre models? Appreciate the help.

Terminator Captain vs Terminator Chaplain to lead an Assault Terminator Squad.

Between these two HQs, which one do you personally prefer to lead your Assault Terminators and why? Chaplain seems to be the more popular option with the + to Wound and the 4+ FNP against mortals which is great. But the Captain being able to reroll Charge Rolls and the -1CP Stratagem could be very useful in certain Dispositions. What are your thoughts?

White Scars Terminator Ancient.

Happy with this as I just followed the K.I.S.S. mentality when it comes to all of my conversions and ideas. For the Khagan!!

Vengeful Host + Spearpoint Feedback.

Played three games with this combo with the Take and Hold Disposition and so far, here is my observations:

Assault Terminators w/Shields is a must. Best unit that the Codex Space Marine Chapters have in terms of durability at this time, so a 10-man Brick + a Terminator Chaplain for the +1 to Wound or a Captain for the Charge Rerolls is money. I may find points for an Ancient for the extra OC and ability.

Vanguard Vets with the new Weapon Loadout can do a lot of damage in this combo given the opportunity. Yes, they lack durability, but in this Disposition, they are best served as a Counter Attack unit to support your other units. There is still a debate between the JP Captain or the JP Chaplain, but if you're only taking 1 unit, then I would vote the Captain as the +1S and -1CP for the Spears & Tulwar Stratagem overall is a lot more flexible. 30 S6 AP2 D2 Attacks with Lethal Hits that can Reroll 1s and +1 to Wound can do a lot of hurt.

While Suboden and Outriders took a hit this edition thanks to the new Engagement rules, I have found that a small unit of Suboden + 3x Outriders can be a good Distraction Carnifex or used to target the Middle Objective closest to the enemy deployment zone. Mixed results overall but I plan to keep on testing then out going forward.

Kor'sarro Khan + Bladeguard. Simple but effective and their new updated abilities has made them far more effective.

Overall, still a lot of testing to be done and ideas that need to be worked on, but this combo imo has a ton of potential 👍.

Aggressors in Firestorm after Point Drop.

Did the recent points drop make anyone consider running Flamestorm Aggressors? Always been a fan of them but it seems GW is still having a hard time balancing them atm. And yes, I would run mine with a Gravis Captain for support.

SW Units with High King Ability.

Just curious to see and hear which Space Wolf units you like to use with his ability to harass the enemy. Have seen WGTs and Headtakers, but has anyone tried it with Grey Hunters or even a Murderfang Dreadnought? Appreciate the feedback.

Best Units for Uriels DS Ability?

Just curious which units people opt to go with when utilizing Uriels DS ability. Personally, Infernus or Flame Aggressors stand out for their potential Damage Output (especially when in Firestorm), but I could see others like Sternguard making great use of his ability. Appreciate all the feedback on this.
