Pretty standard but effective. What are your thoughts 🤔?
I'm working on my LVO list atm and as it stands, I am leaning towards running Firestorm + Librarius as Purge the Foe fits my play style the best. As it stands, I have the following:
Suboden + 3 Outriders (maybe an ATV)
Kor'sarro Khan + 6-man Bladeguard
Librarian + Fusillade + 10-man Sternguard in Drop Pod
2x Gladiator Lancers
1x 5-man Scout Squad
1x 5-man Intercessor Squad
Depending, I will have about 830 to 770 points to work with for this Army idea and I am asking my fellow Khans and the WS Veterans for any wisdom or advice they can gove me at this time when it comes to playing the Scars in 11th Edition.
Less than a month after the Henry Norwak case, there has been another video where a yt individual is clearly assaulted by 3x blk perpetrators and instead of arresting them, the UK cops immediately arrest the yt victim and let the ones who assaulted him walk free. Its clear there is a serious issue in the UK with clear bias and double standards atm and they need ro get on this asap or else this is going to explode.
Currently working on my Army list and finally got enough of the models I needed to get started but still have room for flexibly and changes if needed.
Detachment: Liberator Assault Group
Points: 2000 Points
HQ
Dante (Warlord) + 6-man Sanguinary Guard
Lemartes + 10-man JP Death Company
Sanguinary Priest + 6-man Bladeguard Squad
Sanguinary Priest + 6-man Bladeguard Squad
2x Gladiator Lancers
1x 5-man Scout Squad
1x 5-man Infernus Squad (Home Objective)
Total: 1670 Points
Have 330 Points left to work with and I'm debatinf on what route would be a good way to go from here. Am fairly new to the Blood Angels so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is his older model on a 25mm base the way to run him at this time? Or has there been an update for him on the tabletop?
Not religious and I'm aware other religions have a bad rep & history for a reason. However, while people are quick to go after those religious, for some reason whenever someone does to same to Islam, people go nuts.
Started looking at DAs recently and I'm trying with an Army list idea and just wanted your thoughts. Idea will be to run a Take and Hold army with the core of the list being:
Azrael + 6-man ICC
2x Librarians + 6-man ICC
Ezekiel + 6-man Bladeguard
Would give me 3x good CC units with 4+ Invul Saves and 4+ FNP Saves if needed and I have my Librarians + Ezekiel with the Telekinesis Discipline for the -1S when shot at. I see this as a fun but effective list but what are your thoughts on this?
Working on my Pile of Shame which includes a ton of both the Assault and Basic Intercessors and I got an idea. I have always been a fan of how the Grey Hunters look as the idea of Bolt Rifle Carbines and WS Chainswords I think would fit the WS theme very well. Good idea or would it cause issues?
First attempt at a 2000 Point Army. Trying out Vanguard and the Legends of Saga and Song combo and will be running the Take and Hold Disposition. Idea is to be as durable and hard to hit as possible while my enemy is forced to get close in order to deal with my units which are heavy on OC:
Army: White Scars (Space Wolves)
Detachments: LOSAS & Vanguard (Take and Hold)
Points: 2000 Points
HQ
Bjorn the Fell-Handed (Warlord)
2x Terminator Ancients: TH & SS (w/Assault Terminators)
Bladeguard Ancient: Blade Driven Deep (w/Bladeguard)
Arjac Rockfist: (w/Wolfguard Terminators)
BATTLELINE
2x Grey Hunter Squads: Sgt w/PF, Bolt Carbine
NON-BATTLELINE
6-man Bladeguard:
2x 5-man AT Squads: 3x TH & SS, 2x LC
Enhancement: Thirst for Glory
1x 10-man WGT Squad: Great Axe, Shields, 2x AC & PF
Enchantment: Fierce Example
2x Gladiator Lancers
Total: 2000 Points Exactly
Bladeguard unit are a Distraction or will be used to tie up the enemy as much as possible while the Terminators camp on the Objectives and the Grey Hunters provide support where it is needed. Bjorn camps on the HO aura farming all game but I am debating on dropping the GHs for regular Intercessors in a few 5-man units instead but what do you think on this?
Am considering this combination for my Space Marine Army as I plan to start out with Take and Hold and the Librarius Detachment fits the theme I'm going with as well. Has any Ultramarine players tested this out and how well did it do and which units did you run? Titus will be my Warlord atm.
A friend of mine at my LGS is going to be trying this out for a "fun" game but it got me thinking if it actually has some value as a more competitive list. In this list, you can pick between 3x Dispositions (Purge, Disruption, and Take & Hold), you can make an Amry utilizing Terminators and Grey Hunters, and the Infantry HQs and their units all get the Counter Charge ability which can be effective. Your thoughts on this idea?
According to a few players I've talked to, 6-man Squads of the Outriders are no longer viable as due to their base size and the new Engagement rules, it will be nearly impossible to get all of them in CC. Is running 3x + Character the way to go now? And adding the ATV just to add wounds worth it?
With the new Outriders revealed, what do upu plan on giving your Sergeant, the Thunder Hammer of Power Axe/Sword? I am personally leaning Hammer for the hitting power but I do see an argument for the Power Weapon for the # of attacks.
Been trying with some ideas and I just wanted you feedback on this one. Idea of this list would be a Take and Hold style list and the core of the list would be:
3x Stormseers
Suboden
1x Sternguard Squad (10-man + Drop Pod)
2x Infernus Squads (10-man)
1x Outrider Squad (6-man)
Using the Orbital Rule, you would DS the 2x Infernus Squads and the Stromseers with the Pyromancy Discipline to give them AP2 Flamers while the Sternguard + Stormseer combo with the Fusillade Enhancement does what it does best but utilizes the Drop Pod for an Alpha Strike. Subodens Unit will be used as a Counter Attack or will rush the enemy to pin them in their Deployment Zone depending and with that on mind, which other units do you think could work with this idea and what are your thoughts on the strategy with list?
Am deciding on which route to go with my Space Wolves and I was just curious if anyone has tried out the combination of the Bastion Task Force and Veterans of the Fang? I've always wanted to use Grey Hunters and this seems like a very good way to utilize them but what do you all think of this idea?
Like many, I was happy to see that Grey Hunters finally got a lot of support with this Detachment and as someone who is fairly new to the Space Wolves, I am still debating on which Detachments, both Space Wolves and Codex Space Marines, would work best with this. Appreciate the feedback from the Long Fangs in the group helping out a new Blood Claw 👍.
