Does anyone else have issues with guns not working in their dreams?

I am not a veteran, but at one point in my life I needed to use a gun in self defense.

The gun was a revolver, it came to me as a gift just two weeks earlier and I carried it when going to the wilderness because it was cool, but I had not yet taken it to the range to learn how to shoot it nor did I just try it out in the woods.

The situation involved an angry drunk man with a shotgun who had intent to kill me. I was able to get into cover quickly and draw my revolver, and it was dark out so I lined up a shot and pulled the trigger.

Except it was a fucking single shot revolver and I didn't know what a single shot revolver was. I pulled and pulled but the trigger wouldn't move.

Luckily as the individual was drunk and it was pitch black out I was able to run away safely.

But every single night in some dream I have need to use a rifle or pistol and every single time I pull the trigger it is stuck and nothing happens.

There have been many people in the last 130 years whose actions preserved or found peace... Overwhelmingly they have been shafted in favor of people who ramble about peace at conferences or who whine about extremist political beliefs the committee likes.

I think I've ruined this GBA connector in a failed soldering attempt. Is there any way to recover this?

I don't know what's worse, that I stayed with her after this or that I forgot it happened!

Why is Borderline Personality Disorder so often mis-diagnosed as something else?

I have met and spoken to many individuals with BPD, and I dated one for some time.

What I noticed is that while most individuals with BPD I have spoken to were in therapy, a large portion of them were under the impression they had autism, anxiety disorders, or bipolar disorder despite expressing very few symptoms of those disorders but having textbook examples of BPD.

Why is it so common for BPD to be misdiagnosed as something else when many of the symptoms are so easy to spot and unique?

The framing tool is off from where it actually cuts, what could be wrong?

60w fiber laser. For some reason the framing tool is about 1mm off of where it actually cuts on both axis. What could the problem be?

What can I use as a backstop while cutting steel?

I am working with a 60w fiber laser and I am trying to cut holes in some fairly thick steel. The problem is that I need a backstop the laser can hit so it doesn't damage the rest of the assembly I am working on.

What is a good material that won't melt or cut as easily as steel?

In Back to the Future Part II (1989), Doc tells Marty to buy a Pepsi and gives him a $50. Back in 1989, $50 was considered an obscenely large amount of money to spend on a lunch.

If Laios had been eaten by the dragon instead of Falin, would anyone have even gone back into the dungon to save him?

In the Doppelganger episode none of Laios' duplicates are accurate, but all of the ones he made for others are spot on aside from tiny detail errors. Laios has an accurate view of all of his friends, but NONE of them can see him for who he really is.

I made Mousilini's favorite dish: raw garlic with olive oil and lemon juice. I am going to eat it. Wish me luck.

There just isn't much to pin this Aaron Kosminski guy to the crimes other than his known violent nature, his known hatred of women, and the fact the killings stopped after he was thrown into an asylum. Surely there isn't any connection here.

Helmets aren't there just to look cool. They protect you from getting brain damage from shrapnel. How does an officer not know to wear his fucking M1 Brain Bucket!
