Any particular reason so many important game characters were just left out from the anime?

Silver, Wally and Hugh all seem like obvious rival picks for Ash.

I'm assuming they picked Iris for a companion as a call back to Misty but still no reason Hilda and Rosa couldn't make an appearance like as a rival. Why Bianca in particular? Nothing against her but the anime likes to make the female game protags a character. Even Brendan, Lucas and Ethan got movie cameos.

Galar cast as whole just kinda got screwed over. Could of had Mustard as one of the Master's 8 at least.

Is there any good reason Natsu doesn't just one shot this bum on the spot? No time would be wasted [Manga]

And no having Lucy and Wendy waste time and magic fighting a weakened opponent who struggling to stand and has no threat to Natsu is not a good one.

It's just like in the final arc of MHA where Izuku, the strongest in the area doesn't just knock out Toga right there. Just comes off utterly contrived and forced conflict

What exactly would happen in this situation?

So Forced Spirit Fission is capable of separating Namekian Fusion. But what exactly would happen? Like would Nail and Kami just reappear? Would they be just balls of ki? Does it make sense Piccolo and Kami could get separated when they started as on being to start with?
