Sorry i postponed everything to a week later. I forgot about this whole thing.
- Crafty Slice, CEO of this Subreddit.
I’ll save the speech for when we get 1000 subs.
…ehem
HOLY SHIT 900 THAT SO COOL OMG!!!🤩
I just wanna thank you all for making this possible for us (bro I sound generic as fuck). I love each and every one of you guys coming up with unique sets and some of you guys creating cool gimmicks like painting your icon set or accidentally posting in the wrong subs.
And thank you for all the submissions for the competition!
The one that started it all. We’ve gone so far 🥲. Funny to think this subreddit isnt even more than 200 days old.
The community voted on how we should celebrate and "Icon Set of the Month" won. If you want to enter the competiton, make an icon set and use the new competiton flair "ICON SET COMPETITION" (you cant miss it).
Also btw we are not changing the date for the subreddit sub goal to reach 500, since we reached 400 in like 6 days.
- Users can only submit 1 icon set.
- Users must include their u/username in the post title, in addition to their subject.
- Users cannot copy other users' icon sets.
- Moderators wishing to submit their own set must not review or vote on their own set to reduce bias.
- No custom image textures on icons, though Geode mods like Icon Hack, Gradient Mod, and many others are allowed.
- all entries must use the "ICON SET COMPETITION" flair
Entries close at Sep 26th
I was informed my one of my mods that we have actually reached the September sub goal, despite my thought. I was thinking we would never reach it, but out of surprise, our visitors decided to sub. I just want to thank each and every one of you for making this possible. Without people taking their time posting here, and deciding to join, we would be nothing.
Now that we reached our sub goal, I shall fufill my promise of creating a monthly icon set competition. I'll start plans September 2nd.
…And that’s ok! I was being too optimistic with my goals. We still got 206 members and a quite underwhelming amount of visitors. Comment your sub and activity goal in the comments!
A W milestone for a sub this small.
