Is there a mod for the Steam version of Quake 1 Remaster

that adds alternate fire and still works in coop ?

I love Space Engine but would like to fly a spacecraft around inside the universe.

I liked the graphics in Everspace 2, but the mission-design and combat were too samey, boring and simplistic.

I tried No Mans Sky but thats still very buggy and the controls are needlessly clunky and I haven't had any fun.

Is there a game you could recommend thats still relatively arcadey without too complicated controls?

My main goal would be exploration and discovering really unbelieveable worlds and galaxies, with some battles against giant battleships sprinkled inbetween. But the main focus should be exploration.

Is there a mod that adds cities and mountains etc to earth?

Other games precache way faster and precache only once.

Weirdly enough GW2 - the game I play the most - takes the longest to finish its precaching...

Why is that?

I tried starting it with deactivatwd precaching in Steams options, but then the game doesnt start...

Installed UZDoom and have the Doom 1 & 2 wads (but not put them into the directory, because I really don't know how.

idk why, but.. its friggin complicated to find the main folder of UZDoom for me.

It should be "Right-click -> show target" but its not, it points me to /var/lib/flatpak/exports/share/applications/ with UZDoom just being a desktop-icon still.

When I double-click the UZDoom-icon It says I need to put the wads into

"~/local/share/games/uzdoom" but this directory just does not exist and even when I create it, I'm still getting the same error-message.

And it says I need to edit the directory in ~/.config/uzdoom/uzdoom.ini ....but this directory doesn't exist, too!! " - -

Got a weird problem.

Have a main-PC and a smaller PC where I currently transfer Datas to.

The mini-PC (awow) never made Problems (runs Windows unfortunately), but recently whenever I attach a USB-drive or external hdd it acts like there are no files anymore on the attached drive ("could not find file X").

Sometimes It copies all but one sometimes none.

External-hdds aren't getting recognized anymore. I connect the USB-hdd and there is no reaction. I just feel / hear the wirring of the disks inside the (external) hdd.

The hdd thats constantly connected is available though. No problems in reading or opening files (but can't add music-files to foobar....).

At first I thought it might be connected to the fact I switched to Linux, but I can use my sticks and hdds just fine on another PC.

How can I find out what the problem is?

Is the Windows degrading? Or are the USB-connections destroyed?

If we stopped wasting money and ressources on wars and other useless shit and all of earths nations would pull together,

what could we achieve in terms of Space-exploration?

...and land on it while taking pictures?

And how long would it take to arrive at the sun?

Ich hatte leider fälschlich angenommen ganz normale Cherry-Profile-Keycaps würden passen,

leider sind die Caps deutlich höher als die Standard-Cherry-Caps.

Weiss jemand welche Bezeichnung diese Caps haben und wo ich gute alternative Tastenkappen für diese Tastatur bekomme?
