Weird reddit glitch?

Weird reddit glitch?

It's more noticeable on newer posts. I saw an interesting post and noticed that the comment counter thing says there were one or two comments already. I click the post, but there are no comments. Refreshing doesn't work.

Also, I'm aware that the post I screenshotted is already a few minutes old, so censoring the name isn't necessary. But I don't care and fuck you.

How do I go about telling my mom that I will have full control over my hair?

My mom has always been controlling over my hair. It was fine when I was a young kid, but she couldn't lend over the control to me about my hair, even though I am 16 and I am going to be a junior in high school–And I'm so close to becoming a legal adult.

My mom has always decided what haircut I wanted. She once forced me to have my hair braided when I was 15. It took an entire year for her to stop giving me braids because we had an explosive argument over it, and she gave up.

The main reason why I wanted to have full control over my hair was because I realized that I actually hate it when someone does my hair. Even with the professional braiders, I hated having it done by someone. I hate the feeling of hands pulling, tugging, and manipulating my hair strands. I don't like the silence and time it takes (I'm extremely impatient) or hell, even the weird breathing noises because my mom is so close to me when doing it. I also don't like how my mom keeps tilting and moving my head.

I just think it's so much better and more convenient for me to do my own hair.

My mom doesn't style it anymore, I style it. But she still washes it for me and does the heat. However, she puts the curling iron and straightener to 400 fucking degrees and it burns. She puts the curling iron so close to my skin, and my hair gets burned off in the process. She gets angry with me for even flinching and squirming even though I demanded she turns the heat down. My mom is also really aggressive with my hair. She pulls on the strands and combs it horribly.

And before people tell me to just tell her, I actually already did ever since I was 14, but she refuses to listen until a huge argument ensues. And even then, after about 4 days, she will return to her normal ways and completely abandon it.

I'm thinking about just doing it myself and then telling her when I'm finished, but I'm scared that she'll get violent again. She already told me she would beat me all over because I said I didn't like the hairstyle she puts me in (I already told her previously that I didn't want it done and she asked me if I liked it or not.)

I already told my school therapist this, and she says that I need to learn how to take proper care of my hair since my mom isn't going to be doing it. She said to just do my hair without her permission since I didn't need it.

Another thing I'm scared about is that I made a promise with her that I can only style it while she takes care of the heat. But then again, she already styles my baby hair, and she doesn't listen to me at all about hair for some reason.

DAE use the world to predict the future?

For example, today, I thought, "In 3 seconds, if a bird passes, then my hair will grow a lot in a year," and a bird passed. Then, I thought, "If I see a bird, I will become a popular punk, Rockstar in the future," and another one passed.

Obviously, this doesn't work all of the time, but it's fun!

IDL overly judgemental people

When I was in high school, I had strength and conditioning class, and it made me hungry afterward. I decided to bring fuit to school because it was healthy, but also I trusted the food from home more than the school food.

Anyway, I brought strawberries to school and in this one class, some girl got upset with me because I ate strawberries. I remembered how she was saying that they were nasty because they were sweet, but also asked as to who brings strawberries to school. I ignored her, but after that comment, I made it my mission to bring strawberries to school just to annoy the fuck out of her lol.

Also, last week, I had two football fans make fun of me for wearing pigtails. Obviously, I ignore them, but it's such a weird thing to make fun of someone for.

Some of you guys are so judgemental that even the most mundane things seem upsetting to you. I know everyone has opinions, but at least keep them to yourself! Not everyone is dressing up for you or wants to hear your unsolicited opinion about your preferences.

I need motivation to get off of Reddit, and this is the only thing that motivates me to stay off. Please downvote me anytime I defend myself

Just addicted to this app, bruh.

I might go away for a month or two or forever because the people on here are so irritating.

I wonder if there are any apps where I have consequences for opening or even typing the app.

People demanding a thank you from me.

My mom was like this. For example, I was 16, and my mom finished making my food. I was about to say thank you, and not even a second later, my mom said, "You're welcome" in a passive-aggressive way. I just responded by saying, "ok," and went to my room.

It would be one thing if I was just walking away or took too long, but it's annoying when someone did something kind for me and then immediately expect me to say thank you when it just happened. I will say thank you if you waited at most 10 seconds.

I won't say thank you if you're not patient.

Edit: some of y'all are twisting my words. I was going to say thank you but she immediately blurted out, "you're welcome" before I could even speak.

And, I said at most 10 seconds. Most of the time it takes 1 second. But then again, Redditors lack social skills so not surprising.

I hate Reddit advice so much

Yellow is me, by the way. I made a post on a subreddit asking if anyone had debilitating fatigue (mine gets so bad that I can't even eat or sleep) and I made sure to add that while I'm okay with advice, I'm not looking for it.

It's super frustrating because I barely have any energy to eat. Why the hell would it be any easier to "just do it"?????

DAE have extreme fatigue most of the time?

I know why that is, and I don't want a diagnosis, but I want to make sure that I'm not alone in this. I don't feel comfortable sharing what's causing it because it's extremely personal to me. So I won't share. Also, I don't mind advice, but I want to let you all know that I'm not looking for it.

Anyway, my fatigue has gotten so bad recently that I feel like a statue if that makes sense. Even picking up a pencil will make it worse. This has happened to me ever since middle school. I remembered that in 8th grade, I would skip dinner every Friday because I had no energy to even eat.

It gets so bad sometimes that I can't even do work.

Do you all feel the same way?

What is it called when your vulva is in pain?

It's mainly my inner lips. It feels like my cat scratched my genitals or something. I genuinely only have this type of pain on the first 2 days of my period, and it goes away with ibuprofen usually.

And, it's specifically my vulva because there is no or very little cramping on my stomach.

I feel it when I'm sitting on the toilet, walking, or having my legs open in general.

I was about to eat my chips ahoy cookies, but I saw one grain beetle. I immediately put the last 13 cookies in the freezer and killed the beetle. I cleaned the tin it was in (they weren't in the original chips ahoy container). I might just clean my room just in case if there are any more grain beetles.

I used to have 14, but I had to throw the other one away because it looked like the beetle really chewed on it.

Thankfully, I only seem to see one adult. But I'm still cleaning just in case.
