is it bad to sit in the leather chair with no shirt on?

Now i would never do it if I was sweaty, but after swimming then taking a shower to remove any chlorine from the hair, i tried sitting in the chair when i was dry.

and the leather has a nice feeling, i would sit in the chair with no shirt on occasionally, when i am sure i am clean and not sweaty.

am i ruining the chair?

what im trying to understand about monitors why do pro's use 24 inch?

they say 24inch is the sweet spot, sit close enough to fill up your whole vision, and you won't need to move your eyes much or neck at all to see the entire screen. makes targets look bigger, ok i get it.

but why not just get a big screen if you have the money, and just have the monitor further back but still close enough you still fill up your whole vision?

do you still get the same benefit? plus you have a larger screen that when you are no longer gaming you can enjoy more screen space.

Has anyone here truly experimented with low FPS?

I will be doing it now, but my monitor does not let me drop it below 30FPS in settings only 50FPS max so i dont know how i will be able to simulate 30 fps. i think i would have to keep a million tabs open then try it that way.

i wanted to do a study, how fps will affect performance and by how much.

One of my first fan made Lara Croft Dance videos, is it chopped?

I know it needs some work still, thought it would be cool to have the guns in her hand while she is dancing.

Is this a problem overtime? wash sales

I will buy 100 shares of a stock at $200 it drops down to $199, so I decide to buy 400 more shares at $199.

it goes up to $199.20, and I sell and I didn't lose any money I broke even.

I do this occasionally. Am I going to run into problems, because I am actually racking up a wash sale by doing this.

it shows the 100 shares were sold at a loss, the 400 shares were sold at a gain. since I regularly trade this stock, the loss is a wash sale and cannot be used to offset losses, if I continue to trade the stock, but the loss will be added to the cost basis when I do buy another 100 shares.

this is how I was trading.

buy 100 shares at $200

see it drop to $199, buy 400 shares to help me break even, then break even if I can.

If I can't break even on that 400 shares then if it drops to $198 i double down and I buy 500 more shares until I can eventually break even.

My team almost full of 2 star 5 cost, how good is it?

I replaced Nunu with cosmic dragon since it had 6000hp and more armor.

so at level 10 I had Cosmic dragon, Tahm, Morgana, and my other unit was 2 Star Sona, and I got zed to 2 star as well.

I almost got to 3 star blitzcrank but game ended too soon. i was slamming items because i was at the bottom of the leaderboard then managed to spring back up when i secured my 2 star 5 cost units at end of the game, as you can see i had 16 free rerolls, and in the early game i was doing timebreaker to help gain xp or rerolls, my augment was late game scaling where i gain xp and my 5 cost units get bonus stats, other augment was the 16 free rerolls, mid game augment was zed.

during the realm of God I picked Ekko who gives a free 5 cost shop, and free 4 cost unit.

i saved most my gold to level up, i never rerolled at the early levels. I had 20 hp left when i started rolling for my 5 cost units.

this round i really struggled getting tank items as you can see, no reforger were given to me at all.

1 hour and 18 minutes to finish grocery shopping how long does it normally take?

I wanted to see how long it takes for me to do normal tasks everyone does.

in 1 hour and 18 minutes i was able to buy 13 days' worth of milk (I drink 3 cups a day). 3 days worth of water, a small can of nuts, 1 toothbrush, and 1 small box of donut holes.

total came out to $73.72, the toothbrush was electric, and the milk was in glass bottles called Oberweis so it's mor expensive.

the drive to the grocery store is 4 minutes.

Things used to be worse for me, I would not allow myself to touch a grocery cart in the past since I thought it was full of germs, now this time I used a grocery cart, but I cannot put any food in the trunk even if it's in a bag, I have to put it all in the front passenger seat only.

I'm trying to improve, does it sound crazy that it took 1 hour and 18 minutes to do all this, it includes me putting the food away. i could imagine this would drive a normal person nuts if they forced themselves to grocery shop this way and it took them that long.

If you had the money how would your set up be to play this game?

They say set up doesn't matter to enjoy the game, and although that is true since I enjoyed playing it on my laptop with a IPS monitor once I switched to a bigger screen VA monitor it was a night and day difference to me, especially since now I have a surround sound headset i can hear where the enemies are coming from and it makes the game immersive.

dark room and at night, definitely makes the game even scarier.

i want to have the best experience possible, what will do it? A projector and now when the necro morphs are coming at you, they are life sized. that is one way i can imagine bringing the immersion to a higher level, never tried this before.

Any quick tips for noobs?

So from what I understand the champion pool is shared, and duplicators or what you get from pengu gift, or loot drops don't count towards the pool.

there is a limited number of champs in the pool, for example only 3 players can 3 star a 1 cost champion, once that happens there won't be enough units for a 4th player to 3 star that 1 cost.

this number of people able to 3 star a higher cost will decrease for example only 1 person can 3 star a 4 cost or a 5 cost, if you see someone 2 star your 4 cost, you actually won't have enough to 3 star your 4 cost because of that and you will either have to wait and take them out to free up the pool or wait if they sell the unit.

i found myself wasting gold not knowing many other players were taking nunu out of the pool.

here is the chart

I've been searching the web for more information and all i got was to at least have 30 gold to collect some interest cause it's hard to build up the gold when you drop under 30. and that in the early game a 2 star front line unit are preferred over traits. and that you don't usually want to go to fast 9 unless you are good on HP and econ and have good augments for reaching that level.

in the early game if you want to save your hp a beefy front line is more important, i noticed if i have a strong backline it doesn't help when my tanks are getting melted and i have the damage dealers exposed really quickly.

other tips i got was to scout boards see what comps or units are taken. and some basics on board placement, such as tanks in front, damage dealers in back. check recommended item builds which are called Best In Slot, and look for alternatives if you need to slam.

What else you got for me?

My custom board to leave em in the dust. what you guys think

https://preview.redd.it/77m0kskxhagh1.png?width=1001&format=png&auto=webp&s=8e69b8cb16e082c919a7329c6137cf9310c0b117

Here is what I did.

Early game I got 3 primordian because I got rek sai to 2 start first, and shortly after another two star rek sai. I had 4 units on the board Panth, Reksai, Brair, and Bel Veth.

I quickly leveled up and then put diana, rammus, and urgot on the board, replaced my akali in the early game with riven, got graves and vex next and focused items on vex.

my augments were gaining a 2 star 2 cost champ early which was panth, after 10 seconds your team heals % health, and then lastly it was the vampiric vitality when i heal when i do damage to tacticians.

so my early game was good i was crushing it so i picked that as my last augment if i ever needed to survive because i did lose a couple times.

basically what happens in game is my team will flood the enemy and end up actually reaching their backline anyway and boom i win.

am i facing noobs or what is this board pretty souped up.

do i pivot or force a contested comp after the first realm of God's where we chose a God and Champ?

I should have known space groove was going to be contested, i go ahead and check everyone's board and find another person with space groove he actually has more units than me.

i'm unsure what to do, I decided just to keep leveling up and got 6th place in platinum.

meeples was taken, dark star got taken, some other guy was doing mecha, what do i do here?

After 20 years it finally happened to me found a ball of seasoning and ate it.

It was in one of those big bags of Doritos Tapatio. I usually eat those smaller 1 serving size bags, so I don't have much experience with buying any big bags.

i thought it was an oversized chip packed with seasoning, ate it. tasted very salty reminds me of back when I took a saltshaker and put a large amount of salt in my mouth just to try it.

i should have not ate it should i

Do I part out my PC or sell it whole?

2019 Alienware Aurora R9, 850W Gold PSU and Motherboard with LGA socket these models are built into the case and cannot be removed unless you really want to take a saw that can cut through a metal swing arm, and carefully pry out the motherboard out of the case.

nobody is going to go through the effort to remove those things.

the two 8gb ram sticks can be removed but probably a terrible idea, because this motherboard is very picky with what ram will work well with, so it's best to keep dells proprietary ram sticks inserted.

CPU is a i7-9700, cooler is some cheap looking small fan that has aggressive fan curves that are very noisy idk who would want a noisy old fan.

the bread and butter of this PC is the GPU, the RTX 2080 Super with 8GB of VRAM

of course i am including the power cable since i don't need it, but the PC will have no storage since I moved that over to my new build.

what do I do? sell the whole PC without a storage, or go buy a used storage on ebay to put inside install windows, or part out the thing?

i was thinking the case is so crap, even if i part it out the case would probably never really sell and especially the cpu fan but maybe im wrong

1st place all star gazer and Morgana

it was free, was very easy to 3 star all units, although some people did pick up jax, even 1 of them 2 star him before i did.

constellation was the serpent, gives a poison effect. i was unsure to have as the 8th unit, but was able to 2 star morgana very easily first when i had tahm, and mecha knight on the bench so i just stuck to her.

augment i picked was divine artifact, lucky chest, forgot the last one

This was a blender model imported into Daz. I went into environment settings and set the environment map picture to be the same as the background i am using, turned off draw ground.

doesn't look quite right, but it's a video game character brought into a real environment, maybe it's the lighting of the model looks too bright.

second picture increased exposure in tone mapper to 13.50

Since when did pre-built PC beat build your own when it comes to value?

It was the summer of 2016 when I considered building my own PC, maybe I was looking in the wrong places (Alienware), found out I can just build my own PC for cheaper for the same components, nothing would be proprietary.

fast forward to 2026, once I finally save up some money $1,400 to spend on myself I find out there is a ram shortage, and prices shot through the roof, I checked out the price of building it myself and find it a bit more expensive then the pre-builds.

when did this happen? Why would someone want to build a pc, or pay a custom builder if it's more expensive for the same components?
