Question for the creamy salsa makers

I'm going to make a no tomato salsa with bell peppers, onion and Arbol/Guajillos. I know the trick is adding oil instead of water and emulsifying.. At least I think, correct me if I'm wrong. My question is do you strain your blend?

why do these malfunction and throw me backwards when im trying to punch forward?

when they work its a glorious beatdown. 4 punch kill , love it. every once in a while im punching and they just yeet me in the air backwards. anyone have this problem? anyway to prevent it?
