That one bit that made me really laugh!

In JATPF, these five seconds of hammering Margera's hand made me laugh with the mouth completely instead of out just my nose. I know that pain (of hammering on my fingers)

Birthday gift from parents!

We're all DD fans watching the shows lately, so so it was a no-brainer.

Lake Street in Melrose Park, Illinois USA [1910/2026]

The Allstate building actually just got a facelift in the 2020s. Final Photo will show it just a few years ago with the recognizable brick work from the 1910 photo.

Can a symbiote bond with a shapeshifter?

If, say, Venom jumped onto Morph, do we know what would happen? Has this type of thing been explored? Can someone who transforms at a molecular level bond with a symbiote? Could Morph just turn into something that isn't compatible?

Dead Fire [1997] -- Die Hard... IN SPAAAACE!

Except with none of the interesting plot, acting, or general style! The main villain is entertaining. They got that right. But the cheesy one-liners, distracting 90's CGI, and silly acting are great for a laugh. Very generic "Guy in authority position stuck alone in building to fight bad guy and his goons" plot. Some boobs. Not a lot. Characters are at least all fun and unique to each other.

Definitely watch. For some reason the entire Tubi upload is at, like, 15fps. The entire thing. The whole movie is at a consistent choppy 15fps. Idk if that's on the tape or DVDs, but beware if you're watching it on Tubi. Your set isn't broken. The movie just looks that way.

Parents hit a thrift store while out of state for the weekend. They found me a haul of a few hundred slides (and a nice metal toolbox) for twelve bucks!

Can't wait to update you with what I find here!

Twenty years later and I just realized they are, in fact, NOT sledding.

I purchased these years ago, but just stumbled back onto them in a project binder.

For a bunch of characters developed in the 1960s-90s, there is a serious lack of bush in this game. In this five-part essay I will be--

[Tw: Suicide] Looking for fics where Spider-Man takes his own life

Tag filtering on Ao3 isn't quite helping me find what I need. There are plenty of fics that are tagged with suicide but obviously not specific to a character. I am looking for Peter Parker doing it himself. Doesn't matter what universe or timeline. Interested in how folks might write something like that for that character.

The gang so far!

Definitely want to expand my Mutants and Spider-Man/NYC streets crew. Daredevil, Punisher, Spider-Man, Rogue, Gambit, and Bishop are next priorities. Totally easy and affordable 😂😂

James Dean reemerges after early retirement to publicly support the Civil Rights Movement in the US

After his friend Marlon Brando died in a car crash in 1955, Dean stepped away from acting and racing. He spend years contemplating life and what's important. Eventually -- himself being part of a violently oppressed group in the United States -- he is inspired to help push the ball in the right direction. He doesn't come out yet (not until later in life a chat with Freddie Mercury), but hopes this is a step in the right direction at the time.

While he does not have the posthumous fame from our reality, he is still a name that middle-aged adults remember from their childhood and teen years. He still carries a voice.
