It's said there were multiple patient zeroes in different countries, what would be the global outcome of the world depending on where a patient zero (and only one mind you on the globe) would turn?

1. I'd get rid of most of his horniness and weird fetishes, but still having him being a normal young adult desiring to get laid, but repressing the desire when he realizes the world has flipped it's lid
2. I'd keep the empathis of him being a coward, or at least still feeling like one, after hiding like a weenie to survive and thinking on his past peers being dead and how he took his pre-c-day life for granted.
3. He goes from town to town warning people yet still gets treated like the boy who cried wolf. He still runs into the bikers and tries to convince them of the crossed, and one of them believe him because he saw a crossed kill.
4. the group prepares for the fight and the crossed arrive, killing most. Edmund and a female biker slip past and decide to run to the hills.
5. Edmund takes a piss one night, and when he comes back, he sees Harold Lorre Attempt to SA his new biker friend. Harold threatens Edmund to walk away and even offers to "Let him in on the action" and out of anger, bravery and self hatred, he snaps and slams harold with the butt of his shotgun and splatters him across the road with it. (Mirroring the final scene of the original Yellow Belly)
6. He gets his biker friend up on her knees, she is visibly distressed, but is lucky Edmund caught her at a perfect time before Harold could do some actual damage.
7. They walk across the road and continue onaward, and Edmund has a new self worth of Courage and feels more confident and hope in his heart
8. I'd change his last name to "Welch" it sounds better
