I just got my first pc

It’s a cyberpower gamer xtreme, the one from Costco last year.

32gb ddr5 6400mhz, 2tb 4.0 ssd, 5060 8gb, (ASUS?) intel b860 chipset motherboard, intel core ultra 5 225F 3.3ghz

I bought it to basically be a pc/console hybrid, leaning more on the console side. I don’t plan to stream on it, i don’t talk to anyone on discord really, I just wanted a better steam machine for less, which I got (bought this used for 660 bucks, awesome shape and great deal)

Anyway:

From what I’ve seen, steam OS is only optimized for amd.

Will steam os be better than windows 11 for my purposes?

Pros and cons?

If so, how do I go about installing steam os? Some videos say I need a flash drive, I don’t have anything like that, nor access to a separate computer/laptop.

If I install Steam os, will I need to rebuy windows if I change my mind?

I’m not tech savvy at all, I don’t even know how to open task manager lol! So please, help me out if possible. Thanks:)

Found this Skytech Archangel Gaming PC Desktop AMD Ryzen 5 7600 AMD Radeon RX 7600 1TB NVMe SSD 16GB DDR5 RAM Windows 11 on Walmart clearance for 538. Idk anything about AMD so I don’t know what kind of performance of a console this’ll be on par with.

I also don’t know what the PCPartPicket comes out to

So, as a console gamer who wants to play Steam games as well as is going to buy the Steam frame for sure, should I get this? Or should I wait for my waitlist on the 2tb Steam machine?

Why does some Movies Anywhere films I own in HD show as HDX on Fandango?

Which one is accurate? Cause I want to make an HD list and an HDX list, but Fandango is saying all of my HD movies are HDX.

I gave an example for Deadpool which I own on Blu-ray. As seen in the image, it shows on Movies Anywhere as HD. However, on Fandango, it shows as HDX.

I’ve been waiting for valve index 2 since I was in middle school. I’m 21 now. I couldn’t afford the first one since I was 15. Now I’m adult with adult money. I want to buy this, but I’m seeing mixed things online.

More comfortable headgear, better visual quality, better refresh rate, wireless, etc etc

But I’m also seeing negative things like the lack of OLED, and how you HAVE to hold something to use it instead of having the gloves like the valve index.

I’m all for this, I think it’s great they’re making it, I’m also not dying on OLED’s hill since the Switch 2 changed my mind about that. I know LCD can be good.

However

What should I think about when buying it? How much do we think it’ll realistically cost, and at what price point should I realistically buy it? I’m getting a steam machine and I already have the controller, so I’m akin to wanting this too.

I have a PSVR2 that I barely use anymore. I had fun on it though! They killed beat saber support and I’m tired of waiting for blades and sorcery as well as fallout 4 vr. PLUS, PSVR1 games aren’t compatible for whatever reason

So please, should I get this? And if so, or if not, why?

But, my girlfriend wants to get a controller to play with me on the steam machine.

Has anyone tested using 2 steam controllers on their pc/steam deck to play co-op games like say vs in mortal kombat, terraria split screen, halo split screen, etc etc?

Any idea if this’ll work how we’re wanting it to?

Really hoping it does, but for some reason I won’t be surprised if it doesn’t.

I got a 5 dollar discount when preordering Minecraft dungeons 2 deluxe edition digitally on the PlayStation store. It didn’t say it was a PS Premium feature or nothin, just was a cheaper price. I have the receipt for proof, am confused cause I don’t get this 5 dollar discount on Steam or Xbox, so why PlayStation?
