I just defeated the big mole and got Gnome. It told me about using Gnome magic through the Evolution menu.

All I have been doing is levelling up my characters, and unlocking mild stats boost and equipping them.

So am I missing something? Are there magic attacks like in Secret of Mana, or classes for each character?
