Soup for one or 2. Potato, zucchini, long red sweet bell pepper, golden onion. Parsley salt, white & black peppercorns milled fresh , spanish smoked paprika powder and cajun spice mix , tiny bit oregano. 1.7 cup water.

Planted this as small 1 ft bought from garden center approx 20 yrs ago. I live in EU.

I call it the bird hotel as many birds sleep in it and were also hiding in it during this heatwave , winter etc.

I have arthritis so no gardening possible. Patio gardening is very little. I have trees in pots on patio there from saplings from other trees in my garden. This one in garden never produce any berries but in garden center they said it would ?

If the brown bits are removed will it get new green growth?

Window I took picture from with my tablet , it faces North. Even with severe storm last night , the Juniper Chinensis lost nothing of the brown bits.

Garden is very heavy clay soil. Early on planted willows then planted willow branches that rooted and grow into trees so garden is not the very water logged it was. Other trees in my garden birches , alders, rowans , hazelnuts coppiced all are doing well.

So the two brown ones is bit odd. I do have older gardening books but think to ask here.

Bit of a strange question if there is nothing to do about the brown , and it stay like this.

Is there anything to sort of cover it up a bit? Will some plant grow in it? Like my ivy invaded everywhere in garden but this one it avoids completely.

Just emptied the veggies drawer from fridge. Salad for 2 persons on oval glass platter.

Trying to hand sew a hat. Used a cantaloupe melon to put hat on for taking picture.

The cream color fabric is muslin. The quilt fabric was piece in a floral scrap pack, nothing left.

I hand sew it around and it has like tail. Wearing it , it can be folded to look different.

Look through small fabric stash. None of the quilt cottons match.

Some very thin silk FQ in rainbow colors no match.

Dusty pink dupiony ?

I fully depend on online shopping. Does anyone identify which Kona Cotton matches the greens in hat?

Where do I find ribbon for use on hat?

Any only shop that sell small pieces thick silk?

What else should I ad to the hat?

These 4 were real fine tomato taste , ripe , sweet.

Not from EU grocery shop , but shop that sells groceries to restaurants , small food business , cafetaria etc. S.o. buy them he did not see name.

What name are these?

Are they easy to grow?

Fancy tomatoes on a bed of iceberg lettuce. Cucumber slices for filler. Fleur de sel with basil. Bit of italian olive oil.
