Pencil case with beading & folder for small papers storage with beading.

Hand sewn using leftovers scraps from cotton quilt fabrics. The inside of pencil case is scrap kona cotton magenta. I have arthritis so putting in a zipper by hand limit to few times a year.

Made these some time ago and because there are requests for what to sew first project think to post small things I did handsew. Pencil case holds my watercolor pencils variety.

The background is a handsewn tiny roses pillowcase made from quilt cotton using 3/4 yard. Fabric was in a variety floral scrappack bought online from US years ago. Usually buy floral scrap packs and some kona cotton.

The gold seedbeads 6/0 were last leftovers , were bought at EEbeads.

Used quilt cotton thread Sulky and quilting needle.

4 seasons now 12 see question in text.

Think was in 80s or early 90s had the book choose colors type by 4 seasons. At the time was a winter. Went searching online to look up old interest in this see now it is 12 types.

Recently see exists subreddit r/coloranalysis and is now 3 spring, 3 summer , 3 fall/autumn , 3 winter. Went also see other sites to read bit more , do random tests on it. It seems am now a fall.

Has anyone else rekindled their interest in this? Has your type changed also now. I am 66 colors that used to look nice on me now look off odd.

Is difficult enough finding clothes online ,as I posted reply on someones question here about clothes shopping for over60.

Spend sunday morning painting 2 large terra cotta pots they are drying now.

S/o went to get more pots at garden centre but apparently they are changing to sell only plastic. So he had the last two of larger size, one was missing tiny bit so just added gold paint to it. I had 2 more medium size partly painted new pots so added more colors to those.

After finish painting went online look at wat others have painted on plain pots.

Anybody else like painting plain terracotta pots?

Besides painting some terracotta pots, what else else can be used as patio pots?

Here EU our garden centers only have boring neutral colors which I dislike.
