Gdyby Fallout 3 miał tę samą fabułę, ale w widoku izometrycznym jak Fallout 1 i 2, czy byś w to zagrał?

Bethesda is successfully taking over the brand, but they're making Fallout using the Interplay engine instead of the engine they use to make their games. Do you think the game would attract more players? Would it have a more iconic feel?

Where to promote isometric post-apocalyptic games

Hey

Over a month ago, I released a post-apocalyptic game called Arkansas 2125. I have a huge problem with promoting the game on Steam. Of course, at first, there were downloads, now when one copy is sold, it's a celebration. The question is where to promote it a month after its release. I wanted to promote it on Fallout-related subreddits, but it says that if something is unrelated, it gets deleted. I don't know how to reach my target audience? The game isn't expensive either, only $5. The problem might be that it's in Early Access. Do you have any suggestions?

What do you think about my post-apocalyptic game?

Hey everyone. Since 2024, when my contract at the gamedev studio wasn't renewed, I've been working on the game Arkansas 2125. I was inspired by Fallout 1 and 2. I'm currently promoting the game on Reddit. The game is available on Steam for $5, but it's currently on sale for 30%. I have a problem because I don't know what I'm doing wrong with the marketing. I think I'm getting a terrible amount of sales. I've sold 60 copies. For me, it's not much considering the game has been in full Early Access for a month. Why Early Access? Because I want to develop it, and I did the right thing because I received a lot of feedback on Steam on what to improve. This is how beta 0.2 was created, and the question is what to improve in marketing so that, for example, a streamer or YouTuber notices it? Is it a waste of my work to have the game crash before release? My goal right now is to get 100 players to buy it and 10 reviews on Steam? That's my goal. Any advice?

I repeat, the game is called Arkansas 2125.

Beta version 0.2 of my game has been released

Hello everyone!

After a long time of work, I’ve just released the big Beta 0.2 update for my post-apocalyptic RPG game Arkansas 😄

This update was created mainly thanks to player feedback and adds a lot of quality-of-life improvements:

new save system (5 save slots),

Steam achievements,

“Take All” button,

keyboard shortcuts,

new quests,

improved inventory management,

balance changes,

new enemy drops,

and many smaller bug fixes.

I’m constantly trying to improve the project and listen to player feedback, so if you have any ideas or opinions, I’d love to hear them 😄

I’ve been working on a solo project called Arkansas 2125, a post-apocalyptic turn-based RPG inspired by classic CRPGs.

The game focuses on atmosphere, slower pacing, and tactical decision-making rather than fast action.

It’s currently in Early Access and I’m continuing to improve it step by step based on feedback.

I’m curious what people think about this kind of approach — do slower, more atmospheric RPGs still appeal today, or do most players prefer faster gameplay?

If anyone wants to check it out, it’s easy to find on Steam by searching Arkansas 2125.
