I'm struggling to get this ship out of orbit

So I was using Kerbal X (I suck at making ships) and I accenly left kerbin's orbit I manages to get back into orbit and accently Pressed Space (not intentionally) so I decided to do a practice rescue mission but the angle is very awkward and I end up using all my fuel so i wanted to know if anyone could give me any pointers because if i can't do a Low Kerbin Orbit resque then how can i do a Duna mission

What are some easy skips for beginners
