Neurodivergent femmes… how did you survive LHR?

Hiiiii,
So I’m AUDHD and trying to get LHR done… after a few sessions on just my back and back of neck I just can’t even deal with the thought of going there.

It’s so bright, the music is loud and bad (even with loops on top of everything else it’s just ahhh), I can’t deal with the chatty therapists, the zap zap zaps are just ughhhhhhh and the burning hair smell is bad. It’s like every sensory thing I hate and by the time I get back to my car I’m having a minor melt down.

Has anybody got any tips for surviving this… hell?

My favourite mints went on sale so in true Autism style I bought an entire box. Hopefully I don’t stop liking them half way through 😂

Thoughts on how to setup this type of tank - is the substrate really just pebbles??

Saw this setup at my local zoo today, they were raising endangered corroboree frogs in a whole lot of smaller tanks like this one 🐸

I’d like to make something like this on a smaller scale.

From what I could see the only substrate is pebbles with the plants growing directly into them. There was no visible soil.

Is this setup as simple as it looks? How are the plants thriving if there’s no soil?

They had misters setup. Would you need to hide a pump in there if it’s that wet?

So I was looking for my screenshots and found this…

Every folder has the same sub folder and a CACHEDMSG file in it. Each file seems to have the same content in it??

This is content related to a project zomboid mod.

What do I do and how do I report this?

Hey!

I’m thinking of getting starlink to use when I’m at my partners rural property. On and off for a few months at a time.

But I also want to use it when camping and travelling.

I’d prefer the mini for its compact size.

Question is if I buy the dish outright can I just switch between residential, roam, and nothing when I want to? (Obviously within the terms of service like month by month).

I spoke to the ai support bot and it said only roam or residential but I don’t think that’s true?

So I just finished “There is No Antimemetics Division” and LOVED it. The writing, the storytelling, the weirdness, and uniqueness were all great.

I’ve always enjoyed books that are really inventive and out there like that. Also a bit dark.

Similar books and fave authors I love - Your Favourite Band Cannot Save You by Scotto Moore, and most books by China Mieville, Metal from Heaven, Providence by Max Barry, The Locked Tomb, Neon Yang, Ann Leckie, Lovecraft.

Oh my gawd what a journey absolutely loved it… my poor gay little socialist heart 😭❤️‍🔥✊🏻

Looking for more queer, sapphic, out there and kinda weird or different SFF books with similarish vibes pleaseeeee!

Other books/authors I’ve read and loved: The Locked Tomb, Neon Yang, Chain Gang Allstars, NK Jemisin, Xiran Jay Zhao, Anciliary Justice.

Not queer but loved There is No Antimemetics Division.

Could not get through Hells Heart by Alexis Hall. The constant breaking the 4th wall to lecture the reader about literary devices and cum jokes was awful.
