Exactly how bad is a tongue peircing?

I want mine done (after getting talked out of Frog Eyes) but I've heard people say bad things about it... to all the vets who've gotten it done before, is it worth it or naw? And how long have you had yours?

Reccommendations for a clear coat that won't chip/fade easily.

I painted a keychain but the clear coat I used isn't standing up to the daily beating my keys are giving it. I'd prefer a matte finish, but I'll settle for a gloss clear coat if that's all there is. Pictured is what I've used.

What order of procedures do I gotta follow to train for a firearm & then obtain an HQL in Maryland?

I'm a woman, and I do not own a gun nor have I ever trained to use one (or even held one for that matter) but I'd like to have training and maybe, obtain whatever license I'd need to own one.

Do I have to practice at a range first, apply for the HQL, then take the apparent 4-hour training course?

Or do I apply, take the 4-hour course, then go to the range regularly afterward?

Any advice would be helpful, please.

I'm a woman from the USA wanting to sandboard in Peru & find other cool things to do there.

I've never traveled to Peru so I have a few questions, please?

1.) What do you have to do to be able to sandboard here? Will there be an instructor? Also, what time of year should I plan to make this trip in order to participate in this?

2.) What other fun things would you recommend a visitor checking out during their stay? I wanna learn new hobbies. (preferably something I can do back in my home country as well) Can you go surfing, swimming, skateboarding, martial arts, graffiti (yes, graffiti... like, permission spots), or other sports to participate in?

3.) Is there anything you would recommend a visitor checking out during their stay?

(2026) Used Cosplay Drop-Off Location

I couldn't find any info already posted online so I inquired about the location to drop off my used cosplay props at the con and was informed (quote):

*"You can bring them to the Photoshoot area in the rear of the video game room."*

How long can I use this after the expiration date?

Expiration date was January 1, 2026. Will this really not be effective anymore?

(kinda new to patching) how do I go about preventing these air pockets behind my drywall tape?

Sorry if this is the wrong sub for this question (Idk what sub I should post this to) but, I had to patch a hole in some sheetrock and I stuffed paper into the hole then put the tape on there with joint compound.

The plan was to let this first thin layer dry and then come back to sand, then add more... but I keep getting air pockets behind the tape...did I not fill the hole enough/properly?

Are deadlifts better with the Squat Rack or Smith Machine?

I've always done deadlifts on the Smith (170 lbs) but now that my gym has squat racks, I tried to do deadlifts there today. I know theres no conpensation for the weight loke there is on the Smith, so I took about 20lbs off before attenpting to lift it... and I felt like my form was terrible (couldn't keep my back straight to lift the weight and was bent over too far for the lift).

Should I just stick to the smith machine or should I switch to training with the squat rack for a better workout?
