I honestly hate brushing my teeth

this might sound childish or stupid but I really just don't like brushing my teeth. It makes my arm tired and it always seems like I put way too much toothpaste on because it always starts coming out of my mouth and onto my chin which is disgusting but maybe I'm just doing it wrong. I've tried so many different brands of toothpaste and every single one seems like they put 10000 mints in it. Why is every single toothpaste minty? If I wanted my breath to be minty, I would just take a mint after brushing my teeth. The mint feels like chainsaws on my tongue every time I brush and it hurts.

One of the main problems I have with it is that it just feels useless. like I feel the exact same before and after brushing. I drink a lot of water mostly because it washes out my mouth after eating so that gets rid of most of the food stuff that's in there, so when brushing there's nothing really left to get except bacteria. It just feels like I'm doing nothing. Flossing is different because you can actually see the effects, and flossing is just more fun in general.

If anyone has any methods or anything to help please let me know. I was thinking about brushing in the shower because that eliminates all the disgusting toothpaste mess that annoys me so much about it and it also pairs it with something I enjoy and do frequently. The only problem is that I don't shower every day so most of the time I would just have to brush normally. please help

Just beat half life for first time! [read desc]

really cool game I actually really enjoyed it but I also didn't like some parts. I feel like a lot of the stuff I didn't like about it was because I was used to modern games, like throughout the game they don't really tell you what to do or where to go which I found annoying in some parts but it definitely grew on me.

it reminded me a lot of ultrakill, I definitely think the devs of ultrakill were inspired by half life when they made it. but I was definitely used to games like ultrakill or other modern games where it's super obvious where you have to go and what you have to do. but half life is much more open world and free roam with lots of side areas that you can explore but aren't necessary, which made it feel a lot cooler and realistic.

the shooter mechanics and gun design were actually really good for a game made in 1998, probably better than some games today.

the monsters really disturbed me and made me feel uncomfortable, especially the guys that are on the ceiling with the long tongues, I actually had to pause the game and take a break every time I got caught by one of those things.

some things I didn't really like were a lot of the military stuff, a lot of the chapters with a lot of military guys felt pretty lame and repetitive, but most of the time it was fine.

i feel like they should definitely add more health stations, I don't know if it's just how I was playing or if I just suck, but I spent most of the game below 10 hp, which I didn't mind much, but it would have been better to have more health.

i didn't really like the final boss or really any of the chapters on xen, actually most of interloper was pretty good, but I was mostly playing for the industrial aesthetic which is one of the main reason I enjoyed the game, and that got ruined on the xen levels.

overall great game though and I will definitely be playing hl2 soon

favorite chapters: office complex/residue processing/parts of surface tension

least favorite chapters: on a rail/apprehension/xen

favorite gun: revolver

least favorite gun: shotgun

Is there really no housing left more than a month before classes start?

checking all the boxes gives the same result. I am going to be a first year student this fall, and at orientation today they said to apply "sooner than later" for housing and that a spot isn't guaranteed. ok.... so I'm just now trying to select a room and apparently there's nothing left? not a single room anywhere? I'm kinda panicking right now because my entire plan was to live on campus. how could it be that there's literally no housing left at all more than a month before school even starts, when over half of all first years commute anyway? someone please help
