Name opinions

Here are some of the names on my baby name list. I have a tendency of writing them down, never reading them again, and planning to just look over them when I need names. I was looking over and adding names today and I found some that I have no idea why I added, and some, I had to applaud myself on. They had nice middle and first name combos. Going through the whole list may take a while so I'll just give yall the first ten I have for each gender. This list has been compiled over years, and I forget about it often, so there won't be too much, but not super little either. I want your unfiltered opinions on them, and rank them however you like. I have many honor names or variants on here. Feel free to recommend more names based off of what yall see if you think I'd like it. And I am a Christian, so idc if names have Biblical connections or meanings. As long as it's not something like Lucifer.

Girls:

  1. Alice (honor name)

  2. Alina (It's Leena with an A in front, I saw it written somewhere, and didn't know exactly what would be the right way to spell it)

  3. Sloane Dahlia

  4. Evolet (I don't remember ever writing this, have no idea where I heard it. Maybe I wrote it while I was super tired, and have just translated from my own language. It's not terrible, though. Kinda sounds like a bird species)

  5. Grace (loved this name since forever, and so has every girl in my family. Also my cousins middle name)

  6. Willow (way too popular now)

  7. Xena/Zena

  8. Claire

  9. Lorelai (I actually learned this from H20:Just Add Water. I've never watched Gilmore Girls and only learned this was a characters name in it recently)

  10. Zinnia

  11. Rune (remember having this edgy phase as a teen, and this and Raven were one of my top favorite names)

Boys-

  1. Jameson ( to honor my friend James who died, and coincidentally my grandfather has this name too, though I wouldn't name a kid after him. He's not that great)

  2. Samuel (Sammy, middle name: Grant. Honor name. There are a lot of dead guys I was close with or admired)

  3. Montana (also a name I liked a lot as a teenager)

  4. Addison ( I don't know why. I've always known a good amount of Addisons, and they're all my friends, and all girls)

  5. Gideon

  6. Finnegan

  7. Ozias (interesting)

  8. Nicholas

  9. Zarek (I was also really into Z names at one point)

  10. Edgar

Are Christians persecuted?

I'm currently being chased down and poked with sticks on another sib for saying many religions, especially Christians and Jews, are persecuted a lot nowadays, and they always will be until the end of days. Other Christians on that sub disagree. I brought up Charlie Kirk, and that certainly didn't help my point at all, apparently. There was also a mass murdering (I'm not in-the-know on this specific part of the subject to say whether or not it's technically genocide) of Christians in Africa. I'd call that persecution.

Edit: Just saw the verse of the day saying "Persue peace with everyone." Don't know if that means I should stop explaining myself or continue and not get angry or frustrated.

How do I get my friend to stop cussing?

My friend has started cussing around other people when she wants to seem cooler. She's always been like this. She'll start with things like "Oh my God!" and I'll tell not to do that, as it's taking the Lords name in vain and a form of blasphemy (I think, if my research is correct). She will roll her eyes, just like she's a teenager. Just to clarify, she's a Christian, and has always tried to set herself up as a good example to others. The second thing she will do is say words like (excuse me here, for a second) "hell" and "piss." It mainly bothers me that she does this when kids are around. When I ask her if she meant to say hell (she speaks two languages, and sometimes gets words mixed up) and she will most often say yes. I'll ask her why, and she'll just shrug and say ,"Hell is a place. It's not a big deal." Then I try to explain the reasoning behind it being a bad word to her, and she ignores me. Now she's started saying piss. I'll tell her it's a bad word. She'll either say "No, it's not," "I don't care," or "So? It's not major one." And now she's gotten a kid to start saying it. I'll give her a word she can substitute it with. "Oh, that makes me peeved!" or "Oh, that really ticks me off!" but she really just does not care.

My main issue is her just cussing around kids.

What have you to say about this flirtatious boy?

He comes in hotdogs form, as well, despite his name being Kiwi. The eyeball on his chest in the third photo is me covering his collar.

Video call with Kiwi

Some of the pictures are weird around his neck because I made some attempts to remove his collar with information on it. And in one picture I just couldn't so I covered it with his eyeball. Enjoy this experience of what it'd be like to video call with my kitty cat named Kiwi!

The Standard Issue glitch

This model is so hard to photograph. The headlights concern me. Do I need to take it to the shop or is it just my camera?

I got her a brush

I noticed a while ago that she would always get excited when I'd brush my hair, so I used my brush to brush her little white spot. After that, I saw how much she liked it and began to search online for a small Barbie brush. I wasn't having much luck. Not too long ago, I was in the store looking at shampoo and conditioner, and I glance over and there are mini brushes (that came with another brush) for 8 dollars! It was exactly what I was looking for, and I'm glad to say that even though I hardly use the normal sized brush, I use the mini one often. Money well spent!

New texting scam?

I got a text from someone with a Canadian area code saying "I feel like I'm being ignored. Did you block my number?" I know no one in Canada, but it genuinely could also be a wrong number. It seems like whoever this is wouldnt need to type in a new number though if they aremt sure if theyve been blocked.

Someone posted this on YouTube criticizing the Shawn, Interrupted episode.

I consider this one of my favorites episodes, and I feel like people need to consider the fact that this is a fictional show. It's not meant to be realistic or a documentary. And not all mental institutions are bad (my friend admitted herself to one and she doesn't mind it). I know the concept behind Gus threatening to beat a patient can be ill-recieved, but I imagine many others could be too if you don't consider it's a fictional comedy show.

Edit: For those who have a problem with the font, I'll link another image with the font changed so yall can read it better. Sorry if it's hurting yalls eyes.

What were your almost names?

For example, if I were a boy my name would have been Alexander. If my parents came to agreement, my name could've been Carla, Brooke, or Sabrina. So basically, what are names you or your parents liked and considered naming you but ultimately didn't? I'm not a huge fan of my current name, but I don't feel like I'd be a good Carla or Brooke. My name suits me, but I think I could've rocked as a Sabrina.

Grey or Blue?

I included my pictures in different lighting and settings. I've been told they're blue, grey, green, and someone has even told me hazel. I went through various hair changes in these photos. As a llama, sometimes it's just so hard to find the perfect color to match my eyes and make them pop! I've also tried various different lengths.

What do yall think of this book?

It's a book called Return from Tomorrow by Dr. George G. Ritchie. It goes on about his experience after death, but he was a ghost. An earth-bound ghost for a while. And he met other ghosts. It was said how you died, as a non-Christian, determined your afterlife punishment. There was one boy who killed himself, and his punishment was to watch his family break down and his mom lose herself all while he cried and tried to communicate. Jesus or God came down to earth, or maybe it was an angel (Idk, I read this book a while ago), and gave George a tour of the earth in the afterlife, and a brief adventure to hell. What do yall think of this? Can this be trusted?

What do we think of Allocorn as a name?

My husband and I have already chosen this name for our baby, whether they be a boy or a girl.

People have named their children Rosalind or Filly so a unicorn equivalent name does not seem far fetched. We are huge fantasy nerds if you couldn't guess.

As for nicknames we have only come up with Corn or Aloe like the plant. Al / Ally is of course an option that just seems more on the professional side.

The only difference between this gender neutral name is the middle name we have chosen. Chartreuse for a boy (We adore the color green) and Cardinal for a girl. I would like an opinion and maybe more nickname options.

I've always been a fan of biking names, like Thor, Brunhilde, Valka, Odin, and such. I believe the name Allocorn will be a strong name no matter what they decide to be in life.
