After two months of semax, here are the benefits.

I partied pretty hard in my 20s. I’ve since improved my health and lifestyle, but still struggled with brain fog and lack of motivation until recently.

I was talking with some of my coworkers about my issues at a dinner party, and one of them recommended that I try out nootropics, specifically semax.

While I was initially hesitant, after some cursory research, I found that a lot of people had used, and had great success with the compound.

I digress. I ordered some, and started a schedule of the compound.

Since I began my treatment, I’ve seen incredible benefits. I feel more alert, with better memory and quicker reasoning, I have more energy, and surprisingly I actually feel less anxious.

I can’t recommend this compound enough. who else has had similar experiences?

Do smart bulbs respond faster with a hub or straight over wifi?

There is a noticeable delay between me asking for the lights and them actually coming on, and I cannot work out whether that is the bulbs, the echo or the fact that everything routes through a bridge first. It is only about two seconds but it is enough to be irritating every single time. Has anyone measured the difference between the two setups?

How to get all Proton products best deals? (mail, vpn, pass unlimited)

been trying to justify switching from other softwares to Proton stack, and I keep getting stuck on pricing.

I want to grab the full suite since I’m already invested in the ecosystem, but the annual plans are pretty steep upfront.

Anyone else struggle with this or found good ways to get discounts on their stuff?

Do coupons or sales come around often, or is it worth just waiting for a specific time of year to pull the trigger

Any resources plz..

9k/mo with 90%+ of margins... here's stack I use that cost almost nothing

Hey there!

I recently scaled my productivity app Growy to $9k/mo, and my current margins are sitting at 90%+, which I honestly think is crazy.

If you want to keep your costs basically at zero while you scale, here is the best setup you can use to deploy, optimize, and market your app:

The Foundation (Hosting & DB)

• Postgres: never even came close to hitting the ceiling for user data

• Vercel: carries my landing page at zero cost (only paid domain fro 10$ or smth)

• Fly io: easily cover the backend with absolutely no problems even at this scale

Optimization (Data & Paywalls)

• Mixpanel: The startup program is FREE and incredibly powerful. Definitely apply for it so you know your numbers inside out. It massively helped me maximize my paywall view rate.

• Superwall: I use this for paywalls instead of building them from scratch. It makes A/B testing screens stupidly easy, and testing is literally what got me to a 15% conversion rate.

Marketing & Distribution

• Reddit: Don't even know what to say here, haha. It's free and brings in great traffic

• Resend: 3k emails/mo completely for free. Plenty early on for setting up user onboarding sequences.

• Minionіx: I use it to run my automated TikTok farm across remote devices. I'm currently running 8 phones on there, and it handles all my organic traffic so I don't have to put 1000s of $ just to find out Meta ads...

• Gemini Pro: 100% worth it. I use it for my content, and it writes much better, more natural scripts than Claude does.

The whole thing runs for basically the cost of a domain, AI and TikTok accounts. Hope this helps someone keep their burn rate down!

Is dishwasher cleaner actually worth buying for a small cafe

we run a pretty small cafe, like 4 tables, and the dishwasher gets used hard every day. its starting to smell a bit and theres some gross film building up on the inside. been just running hot cycles thinking thatd be enough but clearly not.

been looking at dishwasher cleaners but honestly not sure if its worth spending money on a dedicated product or if theres a cheaper diy route that actually works. anyone deal with this for a commercial-ish setup?

Is there actually a best ai scribe or are they all just glorified voice recorders?

If anyone has used one of these tools in an actual clinical setting for more than a few weeks, I'd genuinely like to hear what the experience looked like past the first few weeks

Picked up too yumm super oats

You know you're in your 30s when a new breakfast feels like an exciting purchase 😂

Picked up too yumm super oats recently because i was trying to add a few more high-protein options to my breakfast. It was a nice change from what i usually eat.

Funny how just 10 years ago i was looking for new cafes and now I am comparing oats. anyone else noticed their grocery priorities changing in their 30s?

Anyone have firsthand experience with PuristLabel or DayMGMT?

I’ve been looking into PuristLabel for artist management and marketing. Has anyone here actually worked with them? If so, what services did you use, how was your experience, and would you recommend them? I’m especially interested in hearing from people with direct experience rather than assumptions. Thanks in advance!

Guwahati Accor

Guwahati Novotel GS Road

Stayed a night here and the property did not align with the expectations. It was like boutique hotel. It all started from the booking itself. The reservation not replying to the mail that was sent on the 30th June for a stay on 11th July. The valet and security were more courteous than the hotel staff.
Reception had a gloomy face with no smile. Few even looked like they were doing favour to us by giving a room. The service was not really to the expectations of Accor properties I’ve been to.
Rooms: Had wooden floor that were squeaky and making lots of noise while walking. The bathroom glass door needs lubrication too, it makes loud noise when opened and closed. The sealants on the bathroom floors were all open and let loose on the floor like ribbons. There was Lavazza coffee machine but no capsules. Mechanised blind was a plus point but no views to add feather to it. Bed was comfortable.
Breakfast: The spread was limited. And the floor was dirty from the previous night dinner. There were crumps of papad and other food; so not from the breakfast item. Only the reception girl from Manipur at the Square was very courteous.
Malt Bar: There was no one at the entry. I booked my room with complementary cocktail. I went in there were 2 guest but no one at the bar. I had to comeback again later and got my drinks served at the room.
Swimming pool: Pool was ok. No kids pool. There’s a bar counter there but nothing is served there. They had nice changing rooms with shower and lockers. There was a steam room too, didn’t had chance to use.
Spa: Operated by Tatvam. The reception was very blank and denied can’t offer a service without appointment. So had to book time. Walk in seems not allowed it was alrdy 10am.
Check out: Was easy. Requested late departure, agreed to 1-1:30. But bcos of late tatvam booking requested late check out as a gold member. They agreed to 3PM.

There were issues with lift and it was quite busy with some marriage bookings, it seems. Had to wait for lift for over 20mins. And ACs were not working neither at the reception nor at the floor lift lobby. Overall, I would rate 2 for the property and another 1 for the Accor Gold add ons they reciprocated. 3 out of 5!!

Kitchen remodel in Palm Beach going a little sideways, how do you keep a GC building what was actually designed?

So we’re about 3 weeks into a full kitchen reno in Palm Beach and honestly its already stressing me out. We hired a designer for the layout and finishes, then a GC separately to do the actual work. Problem is the second the designer handed off her drawings she was basically gone, and now the GC is making calls on site that don’t match what we approved. Moved where the island sits, changed the pantry run, little stuff that keeps adding up.

I’m not a contractor so half the time I genuinely can’t tell if his reasons are legit or if he’s just doing whatever’s easier for his crew. Feels like nobody is actually in the middle making sure the design gets built the way it was drawn.

For anyone around here who’s done a bigger kitchen or a whole home reno, is there a type of firm or person you hire to bridge that gap? Or is this just how these things go and I need to chill.

Trying to figure out the right size, is a home sauna 4 person worth it or overkill for a family of 2-3?

We’re finishing our basement and debating between a 2 person and a home sauna 4 person unit. There’s only 3 of us but I keep thinking we’ll regret going small. My wife thinks a 4 person is unnecessary because of the price tag.

Who’s right?
