2020 Honda CRV Hybrid

According to my mechanic: Running out of gas in a 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid triggers a cascade of electrical faults, including the P1DFD code, because the engine shutdown forces the high-voltage battery to rapidly deplete. The system enters a protective "limp mode" and disables the power system to prevent damage to the hybrid battery.

We’ve tried everything from clearing faults, codes, but my engine won’t start. He’s saying there’s something regarding the software that Honda typically locks people out so we end up taking it to them to get it serviced.

Was wondering if there’s anyway around this, if there’s a software they need to download on my mechanic’s computer in order to bypass the system?

Please don’t come after me if I’m using the wrong terminology, I know nothing about cars.

There’s this guy, M, who recently joined the poker league that I’ve been playing in for a few years. It’s been about 4-5 months since he joined? I was attracted to him immediately.

Now, I’ve made a lot of friends through poker, most who are much older, and since I’ve been playing for a long time they often tease me and play jokes, etc. During the breaks, we would often go outside and just hangout for a bit, smoke, and M came out one time and that was the first time we talked and bonded for a bit, over a joint.

Weeks leading up to this past Tuesday, we’d often exchange more than a couple of words. Whenever I have a crush on someone I try to act like they don’t exist because I’m sure shy and I tend to start overthinking, kinda like I am now.

On Tuesday at poker, we were sitting at the same table and he finally cracked a joke towards me and I was taken back because I was not expecting it all. He apologized for what he said right away, but it was all good. The next day, I checked Instagram and there was a follow request from him. I had found his IG before, but never sent a request because I wasn’t sure about his level of interest. Immediately noticed I was the one only person from poker he followed and also doesn’t have a huge follower/following count and keeps it lowkey.

Fast forward to this past Thursday, we were playing poker and he decided to hangout with me at the bar with a few of my other friends that play and then him and I went out by his car and just smoked some weed.

I know, I’m probably answering my own question and there’s obviously some interest there, but I’m not 100%. I would love to hang out with him 1on1 outside of poker sometime but I am too shy to ask. I also wonder if he’s picked up on signs that I am interested in him.

When he followed me on IG, I sent him a message congratulating him on winning 2nd place in poker on Tuesday but the conversation went nowhere and he had left my last message on read.

so let’s preface:

it’s kinda embarrassing because I’m like a whole ass grown woman 😭 but I play i have been playing in this poker league in my city for about 4 years now.

A few months ago a new guy joined and I found him to be one of the most handsome people I had laid my eyes on. He became a regular. One day, I was smoking with a few of my friends outside and he joined, we shared a brief 10 mins sharing a joint and that was it.

I developed a huge crush on him, but could never muster the courage to talk to him. I’d literally just act all non-chalant and like he doesn’t exist 😭 I’d run scenarios through my head, etc.

Fast forward to yesterday, we were playing poker and we were sitting at the same table. I was finally able to get some banter in and he actually reciprocated with some banter too. I got out before he did, so I just said good luck to him and went on about my day.

Today, I was sitting in urgent care coughing my brains out and I get an IG notification. I check to see what it is and it’s a follow request from him 😭😭😭. It’s been a while since I had been so giddy. What made it sweeter for me is the fact that we have no mutuals and he doesn’t follow anyone else from poker either, so I’m glad the thought of me ran through his mind.

That’s it, just wanted to share my excitement and get it off my chest.

Last week, I had an insanely bad cough. It almost felt like I had bronchitis, but things mellowed out and I felt somewhat normal.

Yesterday, I had an incredibly bad cough again and I thought it was just my allergies or a dry cough I was developing. Didn’t think I was sick as I had no fever or body aches. I went to a coworkers house for a dinner party where there were about 10 people there. I took some Delsyum to suppress my cough and it somewhat helped.

Once I got home from the dinner party around midnight, that’s when things really started turning for a change. My body started aching, I kept coughing and it felt like knives were in the back of my throat. Body was definitely warm with a fever.

I slept in until like 3pm today because I just couldn’t move or get up. I’ve had Covid before and it kinda felt like tha so I went to get a test that supported Covid/Flu and tested positive for Influenza A.

I contacted my boss and told him I tested positive and he’s only exempting a PTO for Monday, but from reading everyone else’s experiences it definitely will last for longer than a day. Now I also feel super bad for my coworkers who were at the dinner with me, I hope I didn’t pass anything to them.

Not sure what more to expect. What medicine should I take? I have Delsyum, NyQuil but that’s about it.

Had some unexpected expenses come up this past week and need about $75 to cover gas and groceries until I get paid this upcoming Wednesday.

Able to provide proof of income, identity, etc.
